OOC: Bet you didn't see this coming... xD I thought I'd try a less organized, quick-fire style RP again, like back in the old days :P I still can't promise that it'll be very fast, knowing me, but I'm giving it a go! Join in if you like :3
IC: "This should be far enough... Hopefully... Hopefully they won't find me here..."Panting, the grey, striped feline slumped down inside the cave. He couldn't hear any sounds of paws approaching any more, which hopefully meant that they had given up the chase, for now. Jackdaw sighed and curled into a ball on the rock floor. He had known that they would discover him sooner or later, but he would have preferred later... Either way, now it had happened and he would have to adjust his plans accordingly, because there was no way he was giving up his work now. Now when they had finally started to make progress! The Circle wouldn't get away with what they were doing. Not this time. Jackdaw only hoped that his companions were okay and hadn't been drawn into this mess along with him. There was no chance that he could return to them in the nearest future... As he lay on the cave floor, contemplating his plan of action, the grey feline felt his eyelids get heavier and knew he wouldn't be able to fight off the sleep any longer. But he would be safe here, for a little while. Just a quick nap... That would do it...

OOC: Kanu! *huggle* hi stranger , anyway after talking about her last night, I'm bringing my baby out of her 3 year long break haha IC: Tura trotted along, her russet head bowed against the cold hair, her blue eyes narrowed as the wind made her eyes water. Her cream pelt was dusted brown with dirt from her running and for someone who was proud of her appearance she really didn't care that she was so messy today. She swung her gaze side to side when she saw a cave a short distance away, shivering a little she made her way towards it, hesitating in the entrance she sniffed the air and scented another creature taking cover in there. She couldn't quite register what animal it was yet though.

OOC: Yay! :P
IC: Jackdaw drifted in and out of sleep, trying to rest and keep tabs on his surroundings at the same time. It wasn't an easy thing to do and the howling wind outside made it even more difficult to tell whether someone was nearby. Then there was a sound - like pebbles shifting on the cave floor - and Jackdaw awoke with a start. There was someone here! He flinched and scrambled backwards, further into the cave. A couple of paces away, he stopped to peer towards the cave entrance. In the dim light it was difficult to discern the features of the stranger, but it was definitely a lioness. Jackdaw flattened his ears; he could recall one lioness that had chased him, but her silhouette didn't quite look like this... "Who are you?" he murmured, realising how hoarse his voice sounded from all the running. He hoped dearly that she wasn't hostile... She was blocking the exit and Jackdaw doubted that he would be able to push his way past her if he needed to escape. In that moment he felt utterly idiotic for hiding in a cave of all places.

Tura flinched a little, she wasn't game for a fight, but when the voice asked her name, she noted how he didn't sound threatening, she cocked her head to one side contemplating whether or not to speak her name when after a while she sighed, "My name is Tura, I am sorry that I intruded, I thought this cave was empty. I'll just be going now." She replied quickly.

Jackdaw watched the lioness carefully; tried to figure out her intentions... His eyes were adjusting to the light now and he could make out some of her appearance. She didn't look particularly intimidating, covered in the same amount of mud as he was, and she hesitated for a moment before stating her name. There was no threat in her voice and the grey feline relaxed somewhat. She then turned around to exit the cave, as expected perhaps of someone who had just come across an occupied spot. Suddenly Jackdaw felt desperately lonely. He had, after all, just lost everything. "No, wait!" he said, a little louder than he had planned "Don't... I mean, you don't have to leave." He took a careful step towards her, then sat down at a respectable distance, to show that he meant her no harm. "I... I could use the company right now." He paused. She had told him her name, he might as well say his. What did it matter now, anyway. "I'm known as Jackdaw. It's nice to meet you, Tura."

Tura gnawed on her lip before padding forward a few steps. "Nice to meet you. Is this your cave?" She asked politely, settling on her haunches a couple of feet away, as she started to look him up and down thoughtfully. "You certainly are unusual." She said, "Not that that is a bad thing." The lioness corrected hurriedly.

Jackdaw managed a faint smile. "Yes, I..." he said "I'm not exactly from around these parts." For a brief moment, his thoughts went to the steep cliffs on the coast where he grew up. His family probably still lived there. What were they doing now? "And I guess it's my cave, for the time being. At least until I've caught my breath. Then I'll carry on my way, because I don't want to--" He suddenly stiffened and became nervous. He had said too much. What if she wasn't a friend, but a foe? "I... I mean, I... I don't live here, no."

"Oh, could I possibly lay over by the cave mouth then at least?" Tura asked warily padding in the cave a little further to see him clearer. "I won't pry." She said, knowing he'd slipped up but not wanting to bother him.
