Arlo turned around to see Ara being trampled, he ran over and roared to get the remaining wilder beast to run the other way. He bent down and moved Ura from underneath Ara and placing her next to her brothers. He bent down towards Ara and whispered her name affectionately. Then licked her several times, not sure if she was alive or dead. "Don't leave me, i can't care for the cubs without you, they need you Ara, please stay with me." He said bursting into tears. ((Sorry about the silence I was at school  )) |

She lifted her up weakily, and shakily took her paw and ran it down his face. "Don't cry for me.." she mumbles, wiping his tears she was very much alive, she managed a weak smike, dropping unconscious. She, as she fell unconscious felt a huge wait off her back.
Ura cried suddenly, despite Aras attempt to save Ura, she fell to the floor in pain. She had received a hard blow to the head that was fatal. Ura rolled to her side and closed her eyes and stopped breathing.

Arlo stopped crying and started nudging Ara's body "Don't give up, you will be fine, stay with me, I need you." He started crying again unsure of what to do. Artemis jumped to Ura and started licking her, but she smelt of death, but he would let that stop him. "Ura little sis, you are strong, you will make it I know you will." He said hopingly. "Apollo help me," he pleaded at his brother. ((Sorry doing homework but finished now, sorry about all this I am trying to be on as much as possible  )) |

Ara woke up, she was still alive. "Wheres Ura?" She asks, scenting death in the air.
Apollo just stood there in shock. A tear fell from his eye. "She's obviously dead, genius." He hissed, staying back.

"We can still save her, we have to save her." Artemis had a tear come to his eye and he pulled on Arlo's ear to get him to help "We can't just leave her..." He said distraught.
Arlo was overjoyed that Ara was alive, but he had a sad expression on his face and lead her to his limp little princess

Seeing Uras dead body Ara instantly fell to the floor screaming and crying, cradling her body. "Im so sorry Ura! Its my fault, I could've done better, im so sorry" she says, crying over her body, not wanting to beleive her little princess was dead.

Artemis licked his mother and his sister, he loved her so much, and now she was gone. and it is all my falt, he told himself
Arlo sat down next to Ara, trying to keep his tears at bay, he tried his best to comfort Ara, and the cubs, but no one was there to comfort him.

Apollo frowned, and just sat beside his father, he looked to his father, seeing the sadness in his eyes. "The stampede was my fault, I set it off so maybe Artemis got stuck in it. I didn't mean to kill anybody!" He sobbed, cringing, expecting to be hit or something. He cowered down.

Arlo's expression snapped, he was furious one second then distraught the next, he looked at Apollo with huge eyes, showing his deep depression, "I know you didn't mean to, no one ever means to, but it killed little Ura, my little princess." His eyes were distant as he remembered the first and last time he held her, saw her, said I love you to her.

Artemis was furious and swiped his brother down the face, leaving three trails of blood from his eye brow to his nose.
"I loved Ura more then I will ever love you, and you killed her." He said blubbering with rage

Apollo yet out a yell and held his paw over his eye, blood running down his face. He immediately growled and pinned Artemis to the floor, pinning hard. "Look what you've done! Ypu don't deserve to be a leader! And plus! I mom and dad were the only ones who cared about Ura! You hardly ever spoke to her! But yet you think you can go round hitting siblings! I killed her, it was an accident. But this is your fault, if you weren't born, this wouldn't have happened!" He yells still holding his eye.

Arlo roared. "ENOUGH your sister is gone and yet all you do is fight, you never give it up, always at each others throats." Arlo lifted Apollo from ontop of Artemis and separated them. Then he turned to Apollo "We all loved Ura as much as eachother, and that is NO REASON TO SAY NASTY THINGS." The he turned to Artemis "You should NEVER strike out of anger," Arlo sighed and started sobbing "We all loved Ura, and now she is gone, but we must not cry over her for too long, we must remember her good qualities and times we shared and never forget her innocent little face, my princess."
Artemis started to cry and his face softened "I am, so sorry Apollo, I love you really, but, it's just Ura is gone, and I loved her so much," His face was wet with tears and he cuddled up in Ara's fur for comfort

"..." Apollo didn't reply to Artemis, he would've said something about hating him, but he didn't want to upset his father. Ara pulled Artemis closer into a hug.
"Look at me. Im a monster." He says, examining his face in a nearby puddle.

Deep down Artemis wanted to say "Yes you are, and you deserve to," but he didn't instead he cried even hardener unbelieving of what he had done.
Arlo got some water and washed away the blood, reviling three straight scars across his face. He pulled Apollo in for a hug, unsure of what else to do.

It had been a few weeks since Uras death, and Ara was getting noticabally huge. She was yet again pregnant and was so proud.
Apollo was now a preteen, but in those weeks his heart had become more bitter and corrupted, leading him to lash out at everybody apart from his mother. He hated his brother, and his scar scared everybody around him. He sat in the corner of the cage facing away from everybody.

Artemis was a handsome preteen, with a golden mane, and not afaid to show off. "Hay, Apollo, do you want to fight?" He said poising himself to pounce.
Arlo normally left the boys to it seeing as they barely ever had contact anyway. He came over to Ara and licked her, he was also looking foreword to having some more cubs in the pride, he also knew he could rely on Artemis to help care for them as well, but he would never forget his first little princess, Ura. "Do you need anything Ara?" He said affectionately

"No I don't. Im a "murder" according to somebody, so I rather would not fight with you." He sneers, taking words directly from Artemises sentence when theh were cubs.
Ara beamed and yawned. "Im fine at the moment." She said in a relaxed tone as she flopped to her side.

Artemis was his true self around Kita, he loved to play with her as cubs, but also talk to her about his brother and family, and she would always be there to listen. They played and messed with some of the other creatures, such as small savanna birds. Kita was an outcast, she was one of the rare other lions from other prides that Arlo allowed to stay in his lands.
Although Artemis didn't know it yet he had a secret crush on Kita, and he kept it from himself to keep their friendship strong.

Arlo did as Ara demanded, and every time she did or said anything Arlo was there by her side, he didn't notice he was slitty annoying, because he loved Ara and would do anything for her

Ara chuckled to herself. "Will you stop rushing around for me? Im capable of doing my own things." She laughs, standing her swollen stomach swaying slightly. She aalks outside, seeing Artemis and Kita. She smiles. "They're just like us. When we were smaller."
