"Artemis does have his falts..." Kita blushes because as he says he doesn't see him having a mate, all of her emotions come rushing to the surface and she blurts out "I love you." But she sits there like a rabbit stuck in head lights, lowers her head, he could never like anyone like me, what were you thinking, you are ugly and insensitive, she says to her self.

"Mh-" He was cut off by her blurting I love you He smiled. "Thats.. just it... I... had a crush on you.. so I guess I could say.. I loved you too.." he says, confidentiality but slightly unsure, not as in unsure of her, he had never really experienced real love.

She smiled up at him and came over, leaning into his growing mane. "I guess you beat Artemis to it!" She says lightly, then licks his check blushing "You really mean it... It's just I thought no one could ever really love me, for who I am." She smiled at Apollo as she looked into his knowing eyes, past the scars underneath the strange colours he was handsome and loving, the perfect lion. Kita's eyes shone and she relaxed for the first time since her family. Apollo was the one person she could relax around and not have to comfort him all the time, or feel like she was less then him. "You know Apollo, you are the most handsome lion I have ever met. She smiled her warm, loving smile at him and leant against his shoulder again, cubs running around her paws. Little did they know when they were older they would be in the same situation, but with their own cubs running around their paws.

He grinned as she licked him. "I guess I did." He says, he noticed her relaxed posture and chuckled. "Your the most beautiful lioness I have ever met, and your wise." He added. He noticed the cubs running around their feet and laughed. "Heh, look at them." He says. "I think I can hear Artemis." He says slowly, or it could be his imagination. "Why did you choose me?" He asks, rather soflty. "Why not, Artemis? Hes way better than me."

Kita blushed at Apollos remarks, but snapped up when he said Artemis' name What will I tell him she thought. But she stood there for a while not hearing a thing and relaxed nestling in next to Apollo once more. "I chose you because Artemis may look nice and pretend to be brave, but underneath it all he is something else, something I don't care to meet. Apollo don't ever listen to your brother when he says no one loves you and no one ever will because I love you and I always will." She was now calm and content happy with Apollo as company.
Artemis had approached normally but when he heard Apollo and Kita talking approached with more care, listening to their every word. The words echoed inside his head ,one by one chipping part of his love from the world, by the end of Kita's speech he felt like crying but was much to angry to do so. He turned the corner and marched into the cave "So you love him?!" He boomed, scaring the cubs "You never loved me, always him, you were just playing with my emotions?!" He was over whelmed with feelings it just all exploded into one long passage of speech.

He nodded at her words, licking her cheek, and nuzzling her with care and affection, Artemis came, ruining the moment. Hearing Artemises words he growled, facing his brother, sizing him up. "How dare you talk to her like that! Don't you think that she's fed up of having to care for you twenty-four seven!" He snarls. "She never toyed with you! She didn't deserve you! At least she actually cares for ne, also! Good luck in being a great king now!" He sneered, invading his brothers space.

Artemis hissed at his brother "Kita is my friend, how dare you steal her from me, you will corrupt her and she will become just like you, an outcast with no friends!" Artemis didn't care about anyone's feelings anymore "I WILL BE THE GREATEST KING EVER, YOU SHALL ALL HAVE TO BOW DOWN TO BE!!!!!" He was angry and hurt, he was not going to let up easy, he started to circle his brother.
"Artemis stop, please, I did love you but you have changed, please stop. If you care about me you will let me be happy with Apollo, other lionesses will love you to the ends of the earth, but I don't love you like that, I love you like a brother Artemis, please stop." Tears started rolling down her cheek, nothing ever went right for her, she just wanted to be happy once in her life.

Timimg his hit right, he hit Artemis down as he circled him. "I have no friends because of you!" He hisses, letting out a loud growl. "Bow down to you?" He laughs. "Im never, ever bowing down to you, I will always rebel, and I willnever bow to you" he says, he then turns to Kita. Wiping her tears away. "Don't cry for him. He's not listening." He says. "Fathers probably /really/ proud." He says sarcastically. "I don't even know why dad chose you, your just an emotional wreck." He hisses.

Kita sniffed and leant into Apollos hand "Do what you have to..." She says firmly, Artemis was no longer himself, he didn't deserve to be King. She turned around not wanting to see the death blow to her friend.
Artemis laughed "He chose me because you are the devil, go ahead kill me, it will only prove my point." Artemis didn't put up a fight, he knew there was no getting up from this possition.

Apollo stopped, looking at his paw as it raised, he scrunched up his eyes, but couldn't do it, he put his paw down. "Im no monster, the only person I killed was father, because he was harming otgers, mi set him free. But if me killing you, means that much to you... then I challenge you for the throne. Winner takes the kingdom, the loser, is exiled." He says, narrowing hisceyes at his brother.

"Alright, well, let me up then." Artemis said impatiently. "Maybe you aren't quite the killer I thought you were. Who ever wins, also gets Kita." Artemis had become un reasonableness and blinded in power. Maybe part of his fathers craziness had crept in though the cracks the loss of his fathers and mothers death,

"Kita is my mate, she loves me. Nobody owns her, and you forcing her to do something against her will." This fueled his first attack, as he swiped at both his brothers paws, a tatic to get people to trip.

Artemis laughed, he had played this trick too many times on his brother to understand how it worked he flew a swipe at his face and another at this throat.
Kita spun around and pounced on Artemis, digging her talons into his neck, a fatal wound "I am sorry Artemis, but you were never meant to be king. No one decides my fate."
"I love you, both." He smiled as life passed from him body.
Kita collapsed in Apollos arms, "Oh, my goodness Apollo what have I done?"

He had missed the blow to his face, and took a neck blow, but not too badly. He saw Kitas sadness and pulled her into a hug. He licked her salty tears away. "Its not your fault, he was going insane." He says, hugging her tighter.

Kita hurried her face in Apollos growing mane, "Apollo, i.... I killed him.... What will I do." She didn't dare look at the corpse of Artemis.
Sena came to he and leant his head against Kita's leg, sencing her sadness.

"Apollo, I love you." She says, overly happy inside to have him there to have Apollo there to comfort and love her. "Can you take me away from here, please." Kita felt like all of her happiness had been sucked from her.

"Yes, we can leave, we can take my brother's and sister with us." He says, before his heart skipped a beat, he flew into the air, h7s eyes turning white, as a golden ball wrapoed round him. Soon, he fell back to the floor with wings and a blue pelt, a purple and pink mane with ear feathers. He was no longer, Apollo, he was Enzi.

Kita was lifted into the air in a blinding white sphere of light. Wings sprouted from her back, her pelt turning a light blue with light green and turquoise markings. Her eyes remained her beautiful blue, but she gained a new set of markings, a set of three coloured dots below her eye, one blue for wind, one light green for vegitation and a white one for wind. Her forehead gained a white triangle that thinned into a line until it expanded again at her nose.

Enzi woke up, using his new eyes to look around. He lifted himself up, finding wings on his back, he shrugged. He saw Kita, and she was more beautiful tgan ever. "Kuta... your.. a.." he stumbled for words.

She opened her eyes as the bright light faded "I am the same person on the inside... Enzi." She smiled Enzi was very different to Apollo, but she hoped he hadn't changed on the inside. She lifted up in flight and let wind circle her face she sighed perfectly content, she landed and buried her head in Enzis full mane

Apollos once light, calm voice had become rough and solid. "We can stay here, we can be rulers." He says, stepping out, beginning to climb to the top of the den, cloud drew in, as he blasted a ball of energy into the air, as he let out a roar, as he flew into the sky, his eyes turning white again, he cleared the clouds, as his body became large, and his wings grew more. A white light absorbed him, and for aa few minutes, he was with his family. Ara smiled. "You've come such a long, long way. We've watched you, since that one fatal day, to see what you might dl, and see how you have grown, and now, you have fulfilled your destiny. We're so proud." She finishes.

"I am sorry son." Arlo said apologetically
"I love you and miss your embrace." Artemis sighed
Kita flew in the air and let the wind whispers thing through her ear, but she did miss the old Apollo a small bit. "Enzi, are you ok?." She said caring in her voice, she saw the ball of light surrounding Enzi and cocked her head to the side, she wondered what he could be doing
