Destined Bonds (Private Mane and Accalia)

He glared at his brother, his face flashing symphathy but quickly snapping back. "Its too late Artemis. Perhaps you should accept that." He sneers.

[Accalia]

"I won't just let him die, I am not as cold hearted as you." Artemis saw his true emotions but he wouldn't let go of his beliefs and so he was slowly tearing their brotherhood apart.

Sena lightly pounced on his brother and they rolled around, expressing their delight in a array of adorable sounds.

[Accalia]

Kita cooed at the small cubs and Artemis shot her a glare and emediatly stopped.

"Cold hearted? Well atleast im not the one who killed Ura, and scared me for the restof my life! You tell me to go and make friends, but I can't! Because you gave me my facial scars. But yet im coldhearted?!" He growls

[Accalia]

It all becomes too much for Artemis and he collapses on the floor in a heap of tears and apologies.

"I didn't mean to, I am sorry Apollo." He sobs "I love you really."

At first Kita is shocked that Artemis could do such a thing, but she then turns to her loving nature and caresses Artemis, he is a fragile lion and loves his family, so when he hurts them he hates himself for it.

"Thats what i`ve waited for you to say, all this time.." He says softly. "But you`ve lost the old me, the old me`s gone, the weak pathetic me is gone." He snaps, turning and walking out of the cave. He scolds himself for his behaviour, but just shrugs it off, in truth he coulden`t care less about his actions

[Accalia]

Artemis just cried loader.

Sena tried to follow Apollo out of the Cave but Kita held him back, she knew Apollo didn't want to be bothered.

Artemis sniffles and recollected himself, he needed to go find another lioness to join the pride and feed the cubs.

Apollo sneered. "He just cries about things, and gets away with it easily" he grumbles, sitting down, hunching his back.

((Could Arlo follow and then hit him for being useless?)

[Accalia]

Apollo didn't realise how close he was to Arlo, he crept from the shadows his head slid to the side and he smiled a wide crooked smile. He lifted his ginormas paw and it swept across Apollo. Arlo just laughed "This is my territory, you useless cub." He shrank back into his shrouded world of darkness, happiness and madness.

Artemis flicked his tail, he didn't really want to get involved but said "He really is a ...... Monster." He lest the cave, he decided now would be a good time to go searching for a new lioness.

Sena came to Apollo and clambered over him, lying on his wounds, but he didn't know that they hurt him.

Kita was torn, he didn't know whether to follow after Artemis, or stay here for the cubs "Artemis?!" She called after him with mild worry in her voice.

Apollos face cringed in pain and hurt, Apollo sneered, putting Sena behind him. "If you think your so tough, why don't you come over here and prove! Be a lion! We will fight to the death!" He growls. "Because when you die, it will be the happiest day of my life." He hisses, growling at his father and throwing a rock at him

[Accalia]

Arlo shifted his huge body, standing up right. "Ahhhh, Apollo, stupid Apollo, Pathetic Apollo, Baby Apollo. You dare challenge your father." He said hissing and jeering. He circled his son, staring him the eye, his ginormous claws out clanging on the cave floor. "Are you scared, little antelope?" He said snidely. He opened his huge jaw of teeth and smiled.

Kita realised Artemis wasn't turning around and so took the small infants from the battle ground, she knew not to get involved.

Apollo growled, unsheathing his claws. He was quite strong for his age. Apollo snarled, taking the first strike, dealing a fatal blow to his fathers neck area, swiping off some mane, leaving his neck exposed. Apollo let out a laugh. "Weak? We will see whos weak when you die."

[Accalia]

Arlo felt his neck, but just laughed his manic laugh and swept his along Apollos face, smiling. "Hahah my son, you have a lot to learn but I am afraid you won't live to do so." He said eerily parts of his old self, his real self seeping through the cracks of craziness

"I have already learned enough." He hisses, lunging at his father and locking his jaws around his neck in a vice grip.

[Accalia]

Arlo laughed, but as he did so it changed from demonic to his normal chuckle. He lifted his head and smiled at his son "Thank you my boy, for freeing me from my curse. I love you and your brother. Don't cry over me, I don't want you to, I will always be here even if it feels like I am not." Blood seeped from his wounds and his eyes were deep and knowing. Life slipped from his expressions, his eyes glazed over, Arlo was gone.

Apollo carefully placed his fathers cold body to the floor, and shut his fathers glazed eyes. "Im so happy for you dad, your free, and you get to see mom. Tell her that we're okay." He says. Looking down at his fathers body, peaceful and restful, kind and honest. The father he once knew and loved. Little did they know, Apollo would kill his brother in a similar way when they became adults. Apollo thought for a moment, and began to panic. "What will Artemis say?" He asks himself.

[Accalia]

Kita crept into the cave, she took one look at the limp Arlo carefully lain on the floor and then turned to Apollo "Are......Are you alright?" She asked gently, she knew what it was like to lose a family member and she knew Apollo had already been through it too, but that doesn't make it any less painful. "He would have wanted you to." She says reassuringly.

Apollo snapped out of his thoughts, and turned to Kita. "He.. did want me to. In his last moments of life.. he thanked me.. with that rare fatherly smile." He says staring at his fathers body. "Artemis is going to think im a murderer."

[Accalia]

Kita flicked her tail "I will talk to him, but it won't be easy to convince him Arlo wanted it, when he returnes, just stay away for a while. It will make things... Easier." She smiled her loving smile, she was empathetic towards Apollo, the same thing had happened to her when sh was a cub. "He loves you, you know. I can see it in the way he lookes at you."

"He just never shows." He adds, getting up. "Thankyou Kita. You have been a lot of help.He then plods out of the cave, going down the slope.

((Plot twist! What if Kita falls for Apollo instead of Artemis? Don't have to do this))

Kita blushed "It is what I am here for, to care for others." She was bored of being the carding one, she wanted to be the one cared for, but she just looked blanc for a second then pulled on a smile, she didn't realise yet but she was warming up to Apollo and one day she would love him more then Artemis.

Apollo rushed back. "Perhaps, when your not busy with Artemis, we could hang out someday." He said. The younger brother proceeded to pad out of the cave. He had always had a crush on Kita, but he never had the courage to actually be friends, because he'd thought she would run away and leave like the rest. He shrugged, she was probably going to pick Artemis,.

[Accalia]

"I will remember that!" She says lightly. She ran to catch up with him, "Do you think you could help me with the cubs, that is if you aren't to busy." She says looking to the floor then his face with a hoping smile spreading across her face.

He nods his head. "I couldn't resist, that smile of yours." He laughed, padding back into the cave. "Your different from the others.. the reason why I never had the corage to talk to you before, was because I thought you would run away like the rest.. but your not like them. I like that." He adds, gently picking up, one cub, Sena, his favourite. He gently groomed his sibling, with a rare grin.

[Accalia]

Sena mewed as he cuddled up to his brother in affection.

Kita laughed "I have never seen you smile before! You look so... So at ease and happy! You should do it more often." She says picking up Civu and Zelta, licking them clean. "Maybe that is why we found eachother, because we are different." Kita lets out a sigh but smiles gently at Apollo"Thank you for helping me!" He says after a moment to lighten the mood

"Theres not really much to smile about. Im smiling because I have a friend. You have no idea how happy I am." He says, rubbing Senas head. "Hm, perhaps. We're differnt.. thats good." Hd says slowly. "You like Artemis more than a friend right?" He says. "I see it in your eyes when you see him."

[Accalia]

Kita smiled she was happy that he refered to her as friend, but when he talked about Artemis she went bright red and flicked her tail nervously "Um.....I am just waiting for him to say something...." She was overly imbarresd because she know noticed her feelings towards Apollo. She held the cubs close to distract her from the awkwardness in the air.

"Well, he better make a quick move." He says, winking at her and laughing. "No worrys, I won't tell." He says. Before looking outside the cave to see if Artemis was back. "Hes not back yet." He says. "Your pretty good with cubs." He says, looking and realised Sena was on the floor. He picked up his sibling and placed him in his paws once he settled down.

[Accalia]

Kita smiled "Thank you, I appreciate that." She said sincerely "I had ALOT of sibling! My mother went crazy though, so one day I ran away." She said it lightly, but she loved her mother and missed her greatly. "You aren't to bad your self, Artemis sometimes collapses under the pressure." She laughed as she remembered other times when Artemis had paniked because there was so much going on.

"Its no problem." He says. "I wouldn't really like my crush getting out there.." he says, going distant for a moment thinking about the reactions. "I still don't understand why dad chose Artemis, we were both born at the same time. And he needs to deal with the pressure if hes to be king. And he could choose whatever lioness he wanted as his Queen. I wish I coukd do that. I really don't see ne having a mate when im older." He says in a huff. "I bet you miss your mother? Well, atleast shes not dead... hope I didn't offend you there, sorry if I did."
