Life Update!

Hey guys! I know I haven't been all too active (been more lurking than anything). Back in June (at least I think it was June, anyway XD) I became an administrator for a Facebook page called Gaming Mommies. We are a community of gamers who also happen to have kids. We host weekly game nights, have contests and lots of giveaways, have a Minecraft server, lots of FB groups, etc. But what keeps me most busy is our website. I write game reviews, previews, gaming news articles, and gaming and/or mommy blogs. I also do all of the copy editing for website content. While it currently is not a paid gig, it does take up a lot of my time. We have around 22,400 fans on FB, so it's a pretty big community to keep entertained. So if you all need me for anything, mostly the War on Surra RP, just poke me with a stick and let me know


But I have some awesome news pertaining to the website! I recently reached out to Nintendo's Public Relations to get on a mailing list for their press releases (so I know what's going on quicker), and I also inquired about how to go about getting review copies of video games. And I am proud to say that I just beat Super Mario 3D World (for the Wii U), which comes out on this Thursday. It's going to be so much easier writing reviews in a timely manner when I don't have to rush through the games! So while the job isn't paid (yet, anyway. We are hoping to monetize eventually), I will consider free Nintendo games (and possibly others as soon as I contact other developers) as a pretty good payment

That and the boys keep me pretty busy. Jude is in preschool, and Gabriel is a crazy toddler XD

That's cool. I see your a fan of the elder scrolls:). Did you play skyrim? It's my first elder scrolls game and I've got it on PC so I'm installing mods etc and would love some advice if you've had experience with mods or which class to play as:).

I have a little over 400 hours logged on Skyrim on ONE character XD I guess you could say that I play it. I play on the Xbox 360, so no mods for me (sadly), but I really like my stealth archer character build.

Cool:). I've gone a little crazy with mods but I'm really looking forward to playing interesting NPCs. You should check it out, and get a PC:D.

So I'm guessing you're not the same Lorelai that made the Winter is Coming cloak mod?

Lol, no. I couldn't code my way out of a paper sack.

I should be getting a decent gaming PC these next few months, mostly to play Elder Scrolls Online X3
