Name: Naledi ( "Nuh-Lay-Dee" Meaning 'star' in the African language of Sotho)
Nickname: N/A
Species: Panthera leo/Lion
Age: 4 1/2 years old

Description:
Naledi is on the smaller side, for a lioness. Her height being just 2 ft and weight approximately 200 lbs. She is a beautiful lioness, pale grey in colour, and has a lighter grey markings along her muzzle, down her neck and under belly. Her ears are a darker grey, along with her nose and below her eye brows. Her tail tuff is pale brown and Naledi has bright blue eye colour.
Behaviour:
Naledi is light - hearted, sensitive, and mysterious. She seems quiet but don't let her shy cover fool you, she is quite independent with a fiery personality. Naledi has a temper can be calm and soothing one minute and ragging in anger the next, but is usually very calm, even in desperate situations. She can be submissive, but if she is pushed she will fight back. Naledi does prefer to back down rather than fight, if there is a way to avoid conflict, she usually tries to find it.
Strengths; Fast and smart, she is a fast learner whether learning hunting techniques or fighting moves. When fighting she can often use her speed to her advantage, as well as her smarts. When hunting she can be sloppy but again her quick reflexes make up for it.
Weaknesses; Her size, smaller and lighter build so she lacks the strength of a lioness of more mass. Her speed can make her lower her guard when fighting or hunting, sometimes give her opponent the advantage.
History:
Naledi was born into a wonderful pride, in a land far from the Pridelands. As a cub she was playful but weary and cautious in nature, so she never wandered too far from her mother's side. The first two years of her life were bliss, the pride was lead by a kind and just leader. Their life was quite peaceful as no rival males seemed interested in challenging leadership. It was a small pride and relatively hard to hunt as food was spread out over a vast distance. This life suited Naledi's pride just fine, it made them strong and resilient. It was this resilience that allowed Naledi to survive what was to come. A sneaky and dark-hearted male lion managed to take over the pride by murdering it's king. The new leader was cruel and ruled the pride as a dictator. The first year of his reign the pride fell into ruin, he viciously attacked any lion who defied him, and demanded a large portion of the food to himself. The rest of the pride began to slowly starve as he grew stronger. Naledi's mother was a strong willed lioness and she, in secret, planned for a group of lionesses to leave the pride together and escapel. That escape never happened, the king learned of the plan and killed Naledi's mother. The rest of the lionesses were too afraid to defy their terrible leader after that. Naledi, no longer having any ties to that pride, decided to sneak away during the night. She succeeded! Wishing to get as far away from the tragedy and memories of her home, she traveled far. For a year she remained a rouge lioness, with nowhere to go. Her light colouring made hunting difficult, but she managed and became a much better hunter because of it.
