Name: Asha
Species: Lion
Age: Elderly
Gender: Female
Description: Asha is pale, sandy-coloured lioness. She has a dark stripe running down her spine and she has dark rims around her ears. Her eyes are an emerald green. Her tail is dark brown whereas her underside is only slightly darker than her light coat. She has an athletic and muscular build, though she has grown weaker and more tired due to her age. She is large in size for a lioness, and can still appear intimidating when she wants to.
Behaviour: Asha was a very wild and active young lioness, though with age has come experience and wisdom and she is now a very calm and patient lioness. She gives out a lot of advice and cares greatly for other members of her pride. She is an experienced hunter, and though she can no longer hunt, she can help other lionesses and give them advice and strategies. She can be grumpy at times and sometimes snaps at younger lions and lionesses, but all in all she is generally a very caring lioness.
History: In her youth, Asha was a promising and skilled hunter, often leading expeditions of her own. As a young lioness, she fell in love with a rogue. They would often meet and Asha couldn't think of anyone she wanted to be with more than him. Their relationship was difficult at times, largely due to the unwilling acceptance of the rogue and the two entirely different worlds Asha and her mate had been brought up in, however they would always pull through no matter what came at them.
Everything changed though, after Asha suffered from a serious injury and had to settle down for a while. Her wild and active personality made this very difficult for her and she hated every moment of having to lie down whilst the others would hunt and play. During that period of time, Asha's pride was attacked and the result didn't end well. Asha lost her mate and the majority of her family on that very day. Depressed and barely having the will to carry on, Asha limped through the savannah to find a new home. She blamed herself entirely for her mate's death as she thought that she should have been there to fight alongside him, instead of resting. She was lucky that she wasn't found by a hungry predator, else that would have been the end of her. She found the Pridelands and was accepted into their Pride. Here, she has found new strength and has recovered after many years from her injury, she has been a faithul counsellor and adviser to all those who seek help.
