Before the Kings, there was mayhem, fire, and bloodshed. Cubs, Elders and Adults all died, turned against by even their own prides.
Despite the death, idealists and revolutionists were killed, all new ideas were destroyed. The Savannah seemed like a place of no hope.

But some of these Idealists survived, and their goal was to find a new land, the ones who could, and live there in peace with each other. They will start their travel on the evening, this is your last chance to be free, and life a full life.

Look there is on of the Idealists now, She is waiting on that rocky outcrop, for the last few of the Travellers, you better hurry....but be careful, there are still dangerous ones among these lions and lionesses.

Naiief watched from the rocky outcrop, waiting for the Others to follow, their group was small consisting of her sectary Sembe, herself, a yellow lion named Saffina and a male lion, Ngano. she watched as the sun dropped from the sky to the floor, using it as a gauge to return to the others.

"Sembe said there were others...." She sighed tiredly, her voice full of gentleness, deep and respectful, but weary from waiting.

Kira was crouched low to the ground her eyes set on a small antelope.Her mate laith close on her tail.She could sense other lions near by but was to hungry to care.Once she was close enough she moved into a sprint tackling down the antelope and sinking her teeth into its neck.Once the antelope was dead she looked over at her mate.
"Do you want some"Kira said to laith.

Laith moved over to the dead animal smiling, his large redish brown mane moving in the breeze.
"yeah ok"Laith said hunger rumbling in his stomach.
He began sinking his teeth into the dead animal tearing flesh away and eating it along with Kira.He was aware of the other lions but knew he could Easilly kill them if he hurt him or Kira and her unborn cubs.

Naiief noticed the mates from a distance, and saw a quarry of four full grown lions, a strange sight even now, circling around them, obviously blood thirsty and interested in taking the lions kill. Looking carefully around she abandoned her post and rushed towards the two lions.

Making it near to them she roared a warning to them, they could eat later, now was for escape, "Move!" She said forcefully, her voice booming with power, but it still held her gentle spirit, and the simple command spoke volumes of her strife with at least one of the Lions that was surrounding the Mates.

One of lions noticed her approach, "Watch her." He called, he seemed unfazed by her arrival, and totally focused on the food.

Kira felt laith nudge her forward, forcing her to abandon the meal and run into a gap in the rock, being carefully not to hit her slightly swollen stomach.She watched her mate as he began to fight away the four hungry lions.Kira stayed hidden in the cave trying to keep quite.

Laith saw the dark furred female lion and ignored her command to run and begank to attack the four other lions slaughtering them before they could get to close to his mate.Although one of them manage to cut laith along his stomach leaving him with a shallow gash.It was not that bad and would quickly heal.He then moved over to his mate in the cave,

Naiief skidded to a stop and stared at the now dead lions, she was appalled, this lion must have been possessed by a demon to be able to kill four of its equals as easily, no amount of skill could have done this... or luck...

She slowed her pace dramatically and stalked over to the two lions, not knowing what to say she asked, "Do you wish to travel with the idealists?" she looked warily at the Lionesses Mate.

Clary padded along with her older sibling Fell, the white lionesses fur contrasted greatly with Fell's muddy brown pelt and dark, almost black mane. Clary was an adolescent and Fell was a young adult.

'We need to keep moving Fell.' Clary sighed as her sibling began to lagg behind. 'It's not safe, there's rogues and murderers everywhere,' She continued.

Fell opened his mouth to complain before he caught sight of a group of lions a small distance away. 'Stay still and low.' He warned.

"Sorry about killing those lions, I just did not want them to hurt my mate or my cubs"Laith said gentally.Laith is ussually a gental male, unless he feels he has to protect his mate or anyone close to him.
"Yes me and my mate would love to travel with you"Laith said happilly.

Kira padded out of the gap, moving over to stand next to her mate she looked down at the dead lions and then at the cut on her mate begining to gentally tend to it.
"sorry,mr our violent introduction laith is not usually like that, he was only trying to protect me"Kira said nuzzling her head into laiths mane lovingly.

Naiief shuddered, "Well..." She stopped herself short, as he tne was horrified. Gulping to regain her denamour she smiled, "Come with me, We'll tend to those wounds immediately." She looked to Kira, "and you should be away from here, in that condition." she nodded to her belley follow me over to the rocks and my Secretary will assist you."

'Let's go.' Fell said nudging his sister to move. "Whilst they're distracted.'

Kira said goodbye to laith while she followed the lioness still not knowing her name.Kira had not noticed how swollen she was and she probably was going to give birth in the next few days.However she did not Want laith to miss it.

Laith smiled as he was led away from his mate and had his wounds tended to.He really did not need them tended to they would have healed by themselves but some treatment would not hurt.He hated being away from Kira and as soon as they had finnished treating him he would thank them and go and find Kira.

"Nene, Nene, they're coming. Quick!"
Nene bit down on the tree branch and pulled it to the earth with her teeth, as Blowfly landed on her shoulder and squawked in her ear. "Then tie off the rope!" She said around the tightly woven collection of grass runners. Blowfly flew down and did so with his beak, and Nene sat back with relief. Her last trap was finally set.
"There nearly here," Blowfly said, hopping around on the ground with excitement and speaking almost too fast to understand. "Finally! After you're done with with them can we go back to the forest? I hate it out here!"
"Yes. Once We're done here we can go back to the forest. Once I've taken my revenge," she said, her eyes and teeth gleaming.
Blowfly smiled back at his long time friend. Vultures and lionesses were usually enemies, but not these two. Circumstance had brought them together.
"They're going the wrong way," Nene said, her smile fading. "Quick! Go lure them over here."
"Me??" Blowfly hopped from foot-to-foot. "But I... I um-"
He only stopped when Nene grabbed his beak. "I'd take too long," she said, and it was true. Nene loved her food, and it was easy to get with the ability to make traps and a vulture for a friend. But as a consequence she had grown so large that she could no longer run. "Go peck at their heads. Stay out of reach. Lure them over here, and then I'll deal with them."
The malicious smile returned, and suddenly Blowfly felt it would be safer attacking the killer lioness than to stay around his pudgey friend. With a flap of dirty-brown feathers he was airborn, and on his way did a quick count of the enemy lions.
"One... Two... Three... Four..." He kept counting, and nodded to himself. Nene had more than enough traps set for this group, but she was really only interested in one. The leader: the female. He spied her out then squawked loudly. "Geddout, geddout, geddout! You're not allowed here. I'll tell the pride! Unless you leave I'll tell them. That's it I'm going!"
Then he swooped down, and pecked sharply at the lead female's head. Again and again he came down, swooping and pecking and then rising up out of the teach of their claws, but always moving slowly towards the tree behind which Nene was hiding...

(ah okay. and Krissi, I am okay with Laith doing some over excessive stuff. I'll say when its too much if thats okay ^^; )

Saffina was with Laith and she led him back towards the commotion, "Oh my!" She called out noticing the bird."

Naiief was angered by the Bird's peck and flattened her ears and growled aware that the ridge was not safe if she started to swipe at it, particularly with Kira behind and an now Laith and Saffina ahead of her. This Bird hadn't been seen for weeks and now it had to suddenly pop up.

Ngano poked his head out of the cave and looked at the plains behind her, "I see more!" He called in his gruff voice, " I'll see to that... Sembe help Naiief or She'll be in Danger!" He growled also irratated and raced down the outcrop towards where he noticed Fell and another lion.

As the Lion left A large white bird flashed out of the cave and grabbed the other bird with its large elongated claws directly around the throat, "Ma'am, you are lucky these vulgar creatures have nice long necks. Should I dispose of it?" she had pinned the vulture to the ground, and was glaring at it in annoyance.

(Wow griffon vultures and Secretary birds are very similar. Griffon vultures are slightly smaller than a Secretarey bird, but they are almost a Kilogram heavier. And a Griffon vultures wingspan is also larger by 60cms. But Secretary birds are faster and taller than them.. if these to were to fight ((and I hope they don't)) It would be really close o.o )

Fell cursed into his breath at being spotted. 'Get away Clary.' He warned swinging around with a growl to face the lion who was approaching.

Clary flinched but stood her ground, flanking her brother. Ready in case.

Ngano's rusty red mane flopped as he skidded to a stop before the two siblings, and bobbed his head in a submissive manner and smiled, "Are you here for the Idealists? You must come quickly, the sun is setting, and we will move soon." He asked, suggesting the latter just as fast.

Clary and Fell exchanged a surprised look, 'We may as well it'll be safer.' Fell murmured. Clary frowned but nodded, 'Fine.'

Blowfly easily slipped out of the reach of the other bird, and laughed when it became aparrent from its talking that the other bird didn't even realise he'd escaped! "Hahatoofastforyoutoofastforyou," he said, then took another dive at the evil Lyoness' head.

Kira backed away from the commotion pain spreading through her stomach.She fell to the floor and began panting.
"Help"Kira said as that was all she could manage.

Laith turned around rushing over to his mate looking down at her.
"Don't tell me it's happening"Laith said looking down at Kira.
He saw Kira nod and called over naiief.

Ngano pointed up to the commotion, "Please follow me. We are dealing with a vulture problem currently though." He said annoyed, but proceeded to lead them up the ledge.

Sembe was embarassed by her miss and focused back on Blowfly.

Naiief stopped, "Laith, can you get Her up to the cave entrance?" She asked, batting paw into the air, at the Vulture, "Any particular reason you attacking me, felon?" She growled at the bird.

Saffina stood nerously at the cave entrance and noticed the other Vulture watching nearby, "What are you doing?" She asked herself and stalked towards the bird.

(I am well aware at what the rules, are so don't worry, I have been on TLKGO before I just took a haitus. thankyou for your concern though.)

Kira felt laith nudging her, encouraging her to get up.Shevwas in a lot of pain but knew she would be safer in te cave.So she weakly got up and clambered over to the cave where she lay down.Not long later after a lot of effort Kira gave birth to two healthy young cubs.
"What do you want to name them"She asked laith who was smiling down at her.

"Well one is a boy so let's call him Maliki, and the girl kibibi"Said laith grinning.
He then nuzzled Kira, smiling down At his cubs.

Fell and Clary hurried to keep up with the other lion towards the commotion.

Kira smiled back up at her mate, begining to lick the pups clean, as they moved around trying to find where to suckle.She felt laith lay down next to her so she rested her head on his back, drifting off into a light sleep.

Laith licked his mates head as she went to sleep keeping a watchfull eye on his cubs.He could hear the large birds outside but did not want to leave his mate and cubs so he reluctant ally stayed.

"WhyamIattackingyouI'll show you. Follow me!" Blowfly said, and flew towards the nearby tree, landing in its branches. "Come here, come here!" He said, flapping his wings.

(Sorry Azy. I don't mean to be rude. I think it used to be the case that you weren't allowed to go hurting each ofher's characters. You could only 'swipe at them.' It was up to them if there was any contact. But maybe that's not the case anymore.)

( Oh okay Those four lions were fillers, its okay if they died. )

Ngano led the two into the cave entrance, and smiled, panting, "Sorry for the commotion, I am sure its just a little prank the vultures are playing." He assured.

Looking at Kira, Laith and their new cubs he nodded to them, "Once, this minor occurance has been solved. We'll introduce ourselves better." He told all of the lions.

"My name is Ngano." He introduced first, keeping his mind off the fact that both Saffina and Naiief were outside with the vultures, "Who are you?" He asked calmly, motion to Fell that he and his sister could sit inside the cave.

Naiief looked carefully at the tree and noticed that Saffina was already close to the tree, stalking something (And close to the trap). Naiief didn't like the vulture suddenly stopped and was being almost nice, "What game are you playing?" She asked, staying still, "I am busy." She added looking pointedly as the sun which was almost completely behind the horizon now.

Saffina was completely engrossed in her task and barely noticed Blowfly above her, stalking with precision.

Sembe had evaded notice after her fail catch, but she was cirlcing the sky. She saw Saffina stalking the second vulture, and focused her attention on the tree.

It was a trap, she could see it clearly from the Skies, and Saffina was going to walk straight into it.

"Saffina Ma'am!! She cried desperately, diving as fast as she could without causing danger to herself.

(You realise there's only one vulture? Unless there's another I don't know about. Nene is a Lyoness. I wrote a character thing about her:).)

"Busy, are you? Wellwe'vebeenbusyforayearlookingforyou. Murderer! Kidnapper! Plund-"

Blowfly looked up as the secretary bird cried out. Spreading his wigs he pumped at the air, rising up to meet his foe, squawking at the top of his lungs to drown out anything the secretary bird might say.

Meanwhile Nene remained hidden in the grass. She watched as the closest lioness stalked past her, after something... But all she could see in the lioness' path was a stick that vaguely looked like a bird. The evil lioness was almost at the base of the tree. This other lioness wasn't the one Nene wanted, but maybe capturing her would allow her to capture the other. But the stalking lioness was going to walk right past the trap! So Nene lifted her head from the long grass, and said, "Oh please, help me. My leg. I... I hurt my leg!"

There was a trap right between them. If she just walked a little closer...

"I am Kira and these are my cubs Maliki and kibibi and my mate laith"Kira said after drowsily waking up after sleeping.She was tiered but tried to stay awake to talk.

"Kira go to sleep, I will take it from here"Laity said as he saw her eyes begining to droop.
He smiled up at the other lions and did nit know what to say as Kira had already introduced him and his cubs.

Clary followed Fell and a brooding look appeared on her face at the sight of the cubs. "Awwwww!" She squealed happily, stepping a little closer to them.

Fell rolled his eyes at his sister. "I'm Fell and this is my litter mate, twin, whatever you want to call us Clary. It's nice to meet you."

Kira was to tiered to talk and carried on sleeping.

Laith smiled up at clary laughing a little bit.
"Nice to meet you fell clary,I am laith and this is my mate Kira and theses two little cubs are called maliki and kabibi"Laith said as he saw his cubs move around.
