Nickname - Naki (Na-Keeey)
Meaning - Child of the Shadows

Colour/Description  
A large, strong built lion covered with a deep maroon fur. Some say his fur can be black like the darkest night, but really, he is a brown/maroon lion with a pelt only a bit darker than Kovu's. Uncharacteristically, he has a darker underbelly and muzzle colour, which is a very deep, and almost metallic looking brown, which could easily be confused with black. His tail is the same colour as his main body, but the tuft at the end of it is a slightly darker shade of his underbelly/muzzle
Nakisisa has a pair of almost ruby red eyes. His eyes are majorly ruby red but there is a small mix of brown in there which offsets the colour slightly. His eyes are cold, which means he is good at hiding his true emotions, and potentially put another fake emotion on instead of his true feelings. His nose is that classic of a pridelander, more rounded and less like a slit, however his nose is slightly metallic and jet black unlike his pelt which is maroon brown (see above) the lightest part of Nakis body are his teeth. They are pure White like freshly laid snow and as sharp as you would expect from a lion who needs to defend himself.
Naki, being a rouge has always had to defend himself. Because of this his muscles and body are toned to that of a rouges build and character, this is from all the running, hunting and fighting he does. He is otherwise just like a normal lion, apart from his mane, which is thick, and as black as his nose, with lighter brown/maroon streaks found throughout, the brown/maroon streaks are normally dark and of varying tone.

Being a rouge is a hard life, for Nakisisa this is no exception. He was born into the rouges life, and always knew that he would be a rouge.
From the day he could walk on his own, Naki was trained to defend himself and taught to kill the weak to survive. Luckily he had both his parents, so even though he ate little there was always food for him.
A few months after he was Born, Naki was taken out by his father one night and they sat under the stars. His father taught him about the circle of life and how the balance worked. He was taught about prides, and how he should act if he ever was accepted into a pride.
That night changed Nakis life. He knew that he wanted to belong to a pride and that he wanted to leave his rouge heritage behind for ever. He knew about how a pride worked and how he would fit in, and even as he and his father returned to sleep in there small cave images and dreams filled his head, Imagining and dreaming about being in a pride, and being King.
The next day was the first move. Nakis small family had to move to a more secure location, with better prey and more water. They travelled for a long time and passed through many lands home to many different prides. Some prides they were chased from and some they were welcomed into, where they were allowed to stay and hunt with the pride.
It was in one such pride, Naki met a young lioness. She was about his age and princess to the throne. At the time Naki didn't know this and why should he? He was but a commoner who would leave in a few days. While he was in the pride, Naki and the young lioness, named Amira*, became close. They played and explored together and one night even slept side by side, alas even when he was having fun, Naki always knew it would never last, and to his dismay the next day, his parents left. A solemn goodbye from the princess who Naki though, he would never see again.
Over the next few months everything changed for Naki. His mane had started to grow, and he became stronger and more muscular, helping his parents hunt, and look for new places to stay and hopefully live permanent.
By this time Naki and his parents had traveled the length and breath of Africa. They had stayed in the planes, jungles and mountains, in the valleys and even on the shores of the sea. Naki had been taught everything that he needed to live And survive on his own, until finally it happened. Naki went hunting on his own for the first time. Ot took tome but Naki came back with a kill, He was now an official adult, ready to leave and search the lands of Africa on his own.
He stayed with his parents that one final night, and relished the last few moments of companionship in his life. They stayed up late and talked, enjoying each others company for the final time. They slept well that night, and finished the kill for breakfast, bid a final and then, they went there separate ways.
Over the next year, Naki wandered endlessly meeting prides and rouges a like, he stayed with some nice lionesses and even asked one of them to stay with him as a mate. She turned and ran, leaving Naki heart broken.
A few weeks later, he was attacked and badly hurt by rouges. Knowing he had only one chance at survival he stumbled into the middle of a pride hunt, where he was rescued by a lioness and taken back to the cave to heal.
Over the following weeks, Naki was treated well, and always had someone with him, more often than not it was the same lioness, she seemed familiar yet different and Naki couldn't put his paw on it.
For weeks he healed and was eventually made an honorary member of the pride. Part of his duty was to patrol the lands, and he did so with enthusiasm, always followed by the same lioness from his healing.
They grew very close over a matter of days, and shared stories of the past, but neither going into much detail about a rouge family visiting in a pride.
One night, Naki and the lioness shared a night together, laying under the stars, they were so close that they could feel each others heart beats. The lioness was purring and Naki was thinking about her again. Only just realising who she was, Naki rolled her over and muzzled her playfully, finally sharing the story of a rouge family visiting a pride.
They both knew the other immediately. They shared deeper memories and told each other what they had done since the last said goodbye. Sleeping side by side that night under the stars.
The following day, the princess told her father about who the rouge was, he wasn't happy about the whole affair, but allowed Naki to stay to please his daughter. After many more months of romance between Amira* and Naki, Naki finally found enough courage to ask the princess to be his mate, with thoughts of his last romance ending in disaster, Naki expected the worst, but instead received a kiss and a yes.
For a week after Amira* said yes, they both pleaded with the King to let Naki marry his daughter and allow him to become king. With the support of the pride behind him, the King fining said yes, and gave his blessing to the couple.
By the end of the month, the couple were we'd, and king and queen, as the last king died soon after there wedding.
After happiness and safeness Naki and Amira* were a very good king and queen, dulling the lands with love for all creatures in the circle of life.
