Kovu was out as usual, patrolling his and Kito's cave, a great sense of protectiveness about him. He made sure to stay close enough to hear her if she shouted though.

After his patrol he hurried back to Kito and licked her, then her swollen belly gently before heading to a raised rock, and jumping up onto it. Balancing precariously he looked out across the lands. "How are you today my love." He asked softly.
