TLK IV

[Sarafina]

Sarafina smiled and turned her head to where she left Sarabi. She slowly trotted back over and sat by Sarabi she smiled at Malka and looked at Simba and Nala to see if they would remember him. She had a feeling Nala might...but SImba probably wouldnt.

Simba followed Sarafina at a walk. She was going at a slow trot so it was easy to keep up with her. He saw his mother sitting with another lion. He raised an eyebrow to Nala and shruggedsoftly. He first went to his mother and nuzzled her. "Hey Ma." he said softly then backing up ad sitting down. He studied the male...and after a while of looking at him.. something about the way he was laying reminded him of a cub he used to know when he was a cub. "Malka?" he asked softly. He used to know him...didnt mean he liked him to much. He smiled and chuckled softly looking at Nala.

Tani trotted along the savannah for a few minutes, casually looking about for her good friend and mate. Soon she saw them, noticing that they had seen her first. Kopa greeted her promptly and sat next to her.

She chuckled sarcastically at Kopa's inquiry. "You won't believe this. They know him!" she said in a slightly softer voice and a quirky expression on her face. "His name's Malka, and he spent some time with this pride as a cub. Became good friends with Simba or something..." She sat back and twittled her paw in the dirst. "They're exchanging greetings and descriptions of the past at this point. He's lightened up since Sarabi and Sarafina warmed up to him, but...meh, the guy's still weird," she said with a grin. She chuckled a bit again. "Boring as all get out."

Tani soon noticed that Kopa was directing her posture in a certain direction, as if trying to hide something from her. It seemed a bit strange to her, but...maybe they were going to tell her something interesting...or maybe it was nothing. Still, it made Tani feel strange to be nudged in certain directions.

Nala looked on to the newcomer who lay upon the ground. Her eyebrow cocked at the site of him, the familiarity in his face. She felt some sort of closeness with him from the moment she set eyes upon him.

Suddenly Simba said it. Malka!

Nala did a double take between Malka and her mate. Her mouth hung open and her eyes grew wide with astonishment. "M--m....Malka!" she said with a growing smile. A nervous giggle came to her throat, and she sat back and brushed her leg awkwardly, trying to appear composed. "W...well," she said with a shaky laugh. "Isn't this a surprise?" Nala looked quickly at all those around her, lingering at the sight of Malka. For some reason, she felt uncomfortable looking at Simba.

[Dakota]

Realising that he was making Tani uncomfortable by nudging her, he leant forward and rubbed his cheek gently against hers.

"I think we will let Sarabi and Sarafina sort out that muddle with the new one who calls himself Malka, I feel like walking in another direction now from the others, I'm not interested in his coming and goings, frankly he bores me".

Looking down at Vitani then across to Scruffy, Kopa hoped the expression on his face was telling Scruffy that silence for now was the best thing for Vitani. Sighing he looked back out across the river.

"I suppose we had better do the right thing and tell Sarabi that we are moving on and about, so they don't worry about us, and besides they have HIM to look after now".

[Nadira]

Malka lifted his head as another lion approached looking like the Kopa lion. "Oh my gosh." He said quietly to himself as he painfully sat up. "Simba?" Simba looked at him with surprise.

"Malka?" He asked softly. Malka got up and walked over to his "big brother" with a limp in his leg from where Kopa attacted him.

"Simba? Is it really you?" He looked him over and a smile grew across his muzzle. "It's been so long." His tail started swaying happily. He looked next to his old friend and saw a beautiful lionness. "N-nala? Is that you? My, how you've grown! How, all of us have grown. Simba, your mane is a lot fuller then I remember and Nala, you're so beautiful!" He lowered his head. "I knew you two would become mates one day, haha. Despite what you said." He smiled and looked up at his old friends.

[Sarafina]

Simba smiled at Malaka. He nodded his head. As soon as Malka looked at Nala, he turned his head to look at his mother. He liked Malka...but he always thought that Malka would have taken NAla to be his mate if he hadnt come back. He then smiled *a great fake one actually* and laughed softly at Malka. He heard what he said to Nala .

"Despite what you said."

He was a little confused. Did he mean when they were cubs and said they wouldnt...or when he was gone... did Nala say something? He sighed a silent sigh and continued to sigh. He looked at Nala for a split second then Malka, then Sarabi. He raised his eyebrow in confusion. He was completely lost.

Scruffy didn't have time to argue with Kopa, for her King suddenly turned his attention away from her. The fluffy necked lifted her gaze and realized Vitani approached them. She swallowed, hoping her friend hadn't heard any part of their discussion...

The Vitani begun explaining about this Malka.
"Ya got to be kidding me", Scruffy said quietly after Vitani had finished.

She should have seen this coming. Surely Simba and Nala would be pleased to have their friend stay in the Pride Lands. And the mere thought made a frown come to her face.
"The flea bitten excuse of a lion can beg Kiara to take him into her part of the Lands", Scruffy said, a slight annoyance present in her voice.
"I don wanna see him around, but 'cos yor parents seem to know him, M'Lord, it's more than likely that he'll remain."

Scruffy rose to her feet and streched slightly, shaking then all the dust away from her fur. She avoided eye contact with both Vitani and Kopa.
"I dunno about ya two, but I'll head back to the Den. I need a good deal of sleep right now..."
Bowing her head slightly at her King and Queen, the fluffy necked headed away from the border river towards the waterhole where Kopa's Pride was keeping their Den.

Sarabi lay there stretched out comfortably, her muscles relaxing getting out the kinks, she watched as her son came forward, giving him a generous smile in reply to his 'Hey Ma'/

Her eyes narrowed a little as she took in the surprise welcome the three were giving each other. Frowning slightly she was closely watching the emotions quickly passing over Simba's face, letting a sigh escape through her lips she knew what was going to happen sooner or later.

Simba isn't going to take kindly to having another male making eyes at Nala, and every female likes attention and laps it up, oh I hope this doesn't end in tears

Moving her mouth close to Sarafinas ear and so the others couldn't see she was talking " I really think we need to keep a close eye on Malka, I can see trouble looming, especially with that fancy mouth of his ".

Nala's ears perked at the sound of Malka's comment. Beautiful? she thought to herself, and a blush and smile cash upon her face, added with a giggle. Nala whapped her tail against the ground ruthlessly from her nervousness. How silly she was being.

"Ahem," she coughed, trying to compose herself. "So, Malka, how have thngs been wih you? Stilla a troublemaker like you were as a cub?" she asked with a smile, trying to keep a normally friendly expression.

Tani listened to Kopa and Scruffy's comments about Malka, all which she agreed with. She watched as Scruffy trotted off toward the cave. For a moment she considered going to bed with Scrufy, because her legs were killing her, her chest was hurting from previous exhaustion, and she was still a bit woozy from when she fainted earllier. The day had taken its toll on her.

But she really wanted to spend some qualty time with Kopa. She hadn't been alone with her love in a while, and it would be really nice after a long and stressful day. Besides, after hey mozied away for a while, they could just lay together and chat.

"I'll go with you, dear," Vitani said to her mate. "But I'll warn you, I can't walk too far. Let's just find a nice place to relax that's not too far off."

[Nadira]

Feeling his mood rise again, Malka casually walked up to his female friend and sighed. "My dear, this particuliar lion isn't doing as well as you and your pride. My family has been killed and there is nothing left at my pride. An evil rogue drove me out before he could kill me and...well, I fought for my pride, but alas, to no avail. I was ruthlessly torn away from my home, and I was tired of traveling on my own. I...wanted to find a place where I can call my new home." He stood regally to show that he meant what he was going to say. "I'm willing to work for my keep. As for being a trouble maker, I don't think your pride took kindly to me, but then again, I shouldn't have expected no warm welcome." He chuckled trying to pretend that Nala didn't notice the wound her son placed on him.

"Simba, my big brother, I would like to join you in your pride. As I told your lovely queen, I am willing to work and defend for my keep. As a stranger, I will respect all of your laws and I hope you can see me as your father did." He bowed his head. "I am deeply sorry for your loss. Your father was a great King. I am sure you are following in his footsteps." He lifted his head and smiled at his "older brother." "You know more than anyone that I do not like to be alone in this world." He bowed once more. "Simba, your Majesty, I ask permission to be accepted into this pride again."

[Dakota]

Watching Scruffy walk away back to the den, caused Kopa to frown, he knew she liked to do things by herself, but this time she needed to accept his help, they were in this together, or else it could end in disaster.

Bringing his head back round to his mate "well looks like we aren't going wandering just yet, so we can forget about facing all that nonsense back over there, and just take our time as we walk back to the den as well."

Giving Vitanis face a rub with his own, feeling her softness yet strength, he realised he had missed her these last few days, the closeness they shared. "Come lets walk slowly, I know you are feeling tired and arent back to your normal self yet, you need more rest."

"How about we find a cool spot nearer to the den and stop there for a while, and leave Scruffy to herself ?" Giving her another rub and a lick "come on fancy feet, lets get moving ".

Kiara was beginning to bore and she turned to Kovu, "I'm going to go for awhile." With that she left and looked out onto the Savanah for others. She saw her Simba, Nala, and someone she didn't recognize. She decided to approach them, "Hello. Mom. Dad." She turned to the newcomer, "May I ask your name?"

[Sarafina]

Simba listened and didnt say a word. He then looked at Malka and put on his best fake smile. He laughed softly. "We are not the ones to decide. You see...since we had two cubs, there are two Prides now. Our son is the King of ones and Kiara is the Queen of the other one." he said smiling he looked over and smiled at Kiara. "Hello Kiara. This is Malka...a cub friend to your mother and I."
More your mother than me... he though annoyed. He sighed softly and smiled at Kiara and Malka. He then turned to Nala and smiled. He got up and went to sit with his mother. He turned and made sure they couldnt see his face. He looked at her. "Ma...What am I suposed to do....He was with Nala the whle time we I was gone...I dont like him..." he whispere making usre only Sarabi and Sarafina could hear. It would be impossible for anyone else to hear. He sighed and then looked at Nala and smiled. He turned to his mother adn raised an eyebrow.

Sarafina leaned over and listened to sarabi. "You sure got that right..." she said sighing. She watched as Simba came over to her and Sarabi. She turned her body and and listened to Simba. She looked at Nala and saw that she looked a little uncomfortable. She sighed and then turned to finish listening to Simba. She looked at Sarabi and shrugged.

[Nadira]

Another lioness walked up to Simba, Nala, Sarafina and the others. She looked like Nala in a way and Simba in another. She looked at Malka after stating her blood with her parents by addressing them as Mom and Dad. Hmm... He thought, so this is the Queen now huh? He stood his ground and bowed his head. He looked at Simba with concern. "Your pride is in two now, yet you live together. How is that? None the less," He turned to Kiara. "Your highness, your father and mother are my friends from long ago. I have returned only because I didn't know I wondered into the Pride Lands again. My pride was taken by force and I was forced to live the life of a rouge. Might I trouble you to let an old friend and and old lion stay for a few days? I will fight for my temporary pride and I will hunt for my keep. Well, as soon as these wounds your dear brother had given to me heal properly." Malka noticed he was being much more technical then usual... He stopped and looked down to the grass.. That's odd.. He thought. He looked back up to the Queen and bowed. "My apologies." He looked at Nala. "Maybe you, Simba and I can reminess about the old days." He smiled at her.

Kovu watched Kiara run down the path. "Oh." His ears lowered then, he felt his brow tense. "Fine!" He yelled at her. "If she thinks I'm so boring, fine. let her go and...do whatever she's doing." He turned around and marched into the den. Part of him wanted to follow...

Sarabi, tensed as Simba whispered his words to herself and Sarafina.. oh boy I feel a headache coming on flashed though her mind, making her give a small grimace.

"Simba, use your brains, there's not much you can do, short of ordering Malka from the lands. He's here now you are just going to have to make sure you pay more attention to Nala, and not let your jealousy go into overdrive when you see them talking together, we'll just all have to watch and see hows things develop. And who knows maybe he will move on ".

Giving a shrug of her shoulders, she looked at her friend "just as well we came back from our walk about in time, I'd say, things are going to keep us busy around here."

Giving Simba a nudge with her paw, she gave a toss of her head indicating to him to move back over to Nala and show whos boss.

Kiara nodded, smiling. "Oh no thats fine. It wouldn't trouble me at all. I'm sure my parents will have a lovely time talking with you while you stay." She suddenly jerked her head around when she heard Kovu yell at her. She felt bad for suddenly leaving him and she spoke, "Oh I just realized I was just quite rude to Kovu. If you all dont mind, I'm going to go talk to him." She gave an apologetic smile and jogged back to the den. She found Kovu and spoke, "I'm sorry I left so abruptly Kovu. I just saw that there was a strange lion with my parents and I was a little worried." She smiled at him brightly hoping he didn't harbor any hard feelings.

[Nadira]

Kovu slowly looked at Kiara. "A strange lion you say? I didn't even notice him. Are the others back form thier walk so soon? Oh." He stood up and gave his mate a half hearted lick on her cheek. "Well," He streched his back. "What's going on with him. Did Kopa kill him already?" Kovu laughed for he knew his brother in laws quick tempers.

Malka lowered his ears. "I wish to cause no tension in between any lions here." He said as he watched Kiara run back up to her mate. "Simba, Nala, we have a lot of catching up to do." He giggled.

Scruffy's lazy walk had turned into a lazy trot as she approached the waterhole. She was glad to be left alone for a while, that she was allowed to gather her thoughts properly.

Zira... alive... at the Outlands! This was bad news, she was sure. If Vitani and Kovu found out, well... The fluffy necked wasn't sure how they would react. Vitani perhaps worse than Kovu, but still.

She suddenly stopped, her reddish-brown eyes wide.
"O' my...!" she muttered quietly.
"How will Simba react when he finds out?!"
She shook her head, wishing she had NEVER gone back to the Outlanders' Den.
"Scruffs! Calm yerself! She'd still be there, no matter if ya found her or not! Someone would've seen her eventually, good it was ya and no other!"
She shivered at her own words, again thinking of Vitani.

Scruffy continued walking again, shaking her head and trying to calm her breathing.
'Think of somethin else, Scruffs... think.. think... THINK...!'
The image of Malka flashed in her mind and she growled, forgetting about Zira.
"I so don wanna run into him again..."
She saw the Waterhole Den now, and her growling calmed down a little.
"Kopa won't accept him into our pride. Let Kiara have him!"
Apparently, according to the tone she used, Kiara wasn't Scruffy's favourite lioness around.

Then, deciding she was too close to the Den, she hut her mouth, nodding a faint greeting at some lionesses she passed as she approached the cave. Some of them were former Outlanders, some were Pridelanders. The two prides had blend to eachother nicely, and yet they still were divided into two...

She shook her head with a sigh as she pounced to the two trees on top of the Den and laid down under them - Scruffy preferred to sleep outside. So long had they dreamt about living at the Pride Rock, so long had they fought for their goal... And still, even though they were close enough to the Pride Rock, they still didn't live there. Kovu lived there because Kiara lived there, his dream had come true.

Not Scruffy's or Vitani's.

But... Scruffy had chosen to stay with Vitani and Kopa. She just didn't want to sleep in the same cave with that idiotic princess of Pridelands.

[Tamber]

Vitani nuzzled her mate as he nuzzled her. "Whatever you want to do. I just want to lay around somewhere. Being dusk, I don't know if I could go to sleep yet, even though I'm exhausted. I just want to spend some time with you."

Vitani watched as Scruffy, who walked far ahead of them, walked at varrying speeds toward the den. She looked a bit flustered about something, but Vitani didn't know what in the world about. Perhaps it was the appearance of the newcomer...but Tani didn't think it would affeect Kopa's pride much. If Malka was to stay, surely he would stay with his old friends, and their children and parents...

...and that fortress that was Prride Rock...

But something told Tani that the newcomer was not what was bothering her friend. Aside from her strange walking habits, Scruffy seemed to behave as normally as ever, so there must not have been much bothering her. For now, Vitani just waled with Kopa, following his lead to wherever he planned to go.

Nala felt as though she was being frequently refered to in this conversation, though normally indirectly. She knew Simba was uncomfortable, for he continuously smiled at her nervously, and eventually went to sit by his mother and Nala's as well, wispering things between the two of them. For now, Nala sat by herself and felt quite uncomfortable.

Then Malka suggested that he, she, and Simba get together and reminisce. This worried Nala a bit, for she was uncertain as to how Simba felt about the situation. She wasn't totally sure why he was so worrysome, but something about his actions lead her to believe so. At Malka's request, Nala's ears perked up and she immediately looked to Simba, her eyes hastilly asking him what they were going to do.

Kiara gave Kovu a sarcastic look, then giggled. She couldn't help it. She spoke, "Ha not yet. Anyway though, his name is Malka. Apparently he is an old friend of my parents and he wants to stay for awhile. I said yes. I assume you don's care right? I just didn't want to be rude to him, being part of my parents past and all." She smiled and nuzzled him warmly, hoping that this would ease up any doubts.

Sarabi was getting bored just lying there with Sarafina, She had done all she could with Malkas situation, it was up to Simba and Nala to either turn him away from their pride, or to welcome him, not this half hearted attempt on Simbas behalf.

Turning to watch how Nala was reacting to all this display of 'friendship' , Sarabi saw that she was looking increasingly distressed, and waiting for her son to to say what was going to happen.

Pushing her self up from the ground, feeling her muscles clench in protest, Sarabi turned to Simba, "I suggest you move over to Nala, reassure her and then go talk with your friend, talking wont hurt, you know.......but show Malka how much you care about your mate" .

A small smile lit the older lionesses face and she gave her son a wink, "I'm heading back now, You want to walk some more Sarafina, or you staying here ?'

[Dakota]

Walking along side his mate, Kopa turned to watch Scruffy as she laid down under some trees. Releasing a small sigh, he hoped she would stay there and not go wandering off, if he found her missing again he was determined to go and find her which meant that Vitani would probably have to come as well, and then who knows what would happen.

Looking down at Vitani, he saw she was slowing down, the effort to keep up with him was starting to show as fatigue on her face. Glancing away from her back up to ahead, he saw some lush bushes by the waterhole that were providing shade, with no filtering light.

mmm just the right place for a little catnap, I think, Leaning down he rubbed his cheek against hers gently. "Over here Tani, I think this will do for us"

Giving himself a shake, Kopa lowered himself to the ground and stretched his limbs out, then watched as his mate joined him. Smiling down at her he moved himself closer so their skins touched . "here Tani lean against me and just relax".

Kopa rubbed his cheek back and forth gently on top of her head, feeling the warmth and softness, her serenity flowing through to him, calming him down, he lay there finally let his head lay still on hers.

[Tamber]

Tani walked slowly and painfully slightly behind Kopa, trying not to appear weak and worn down. When they finally reached an area near some bushes, she first relieved to just ault her movement. She then kneeled down slowly, grunting a bit. Vitani let out a big sigh of comfort.

"Oh, this is so much better than walking," she said to him happily. "Sorry I'm so slow. My legs will need a few days to get back to normal." Tani leaned ehr head against Kopa's fluffy chest and looked across the rolling plains of their home. She sighed at the beautiful sight of the sunset on the horizon. What a long day it had been, and at last it was drawing to a clsoe to start a new day tomorrow.

But Tani still worried about Scruffy. Something about her manerisms had seemed different when she had walked away from them and even before she had. Vitani had grown up with Scruffy, known her her whole life. She was almost like a sister. Though as a cub she wasn't as close to Tani as Kovu and Nuka were, as her life drew on, Tani and Scruffy had grown closer in friendship and trust, training and learning together. She had learned so much about her dear friend over the years, and she could tell when somethign was bothering her.

"Did you notice that Scruffy seemed a bit...I don't know...roused about something?" she asked Kpa, hoping he had thought the same thing she had.

[Sarafina]

Simba sighed and stood up. He heard what Malka said and sighed. He looked at his mother and rolled his eyes. "You are so much like dad....its so annoying sometimes.." he said going back over to Nala. He didnt meet anyones eyecontact, He sighed and nodded. "I guess we could chat for a while..." he said trying not to sound a little awkward. He gave Nala a small smile and then looked at Malka. He turned his head and watched his mother and Sarafina walk away. This was not going to be fun.

Sarafina looked at Sarabi and stood up. "No im coming along."she said yawning and stretching. She trotted next to Sarabi and then slowed to a walk. "I dont like him...never really did." she said softly looking from Sarabi to the other three, She sighed a lookted straight again.

[Dakota]

Kopa's heart missed a beat when Vitani asked him that question, he had been hoping she would just put Scruffys disposition down to tiredness and the sudden turn up off Malka, which had throwen everyone off.

He didn't want to lie to his mate, but he knew he couldn't tell her the truth. One it would hurt her too much and two, he had promised Scruffy. Until they knew the truth for sure, vitani would have to be kept in the dark. Kopa just hoped she would never learn that Scruffy and himself had kept things from her.

"I'm not sure whats going on in Scruffys mind at the moment, I think something might have happened when she fell into the river maybe, or she might just be really tired like yourself my love, and we both saw how she reacted to that Malka turning up. I think it's best if we just leave her for tonight, and we relax, and be thankful that none of us weren't seriously hurt"

Kopa kept on soothingly rubbing his cheek over her own. Trying not to let his sigh escape from his mouth, he truly didn't know how they were going to handle this 'Zira situation'.

[Kirsui]

Scruffy laid under the trees, watching as lionesses returned to the Waterhole Den. Some were lying outside like herself, but most headed right inside to the warmth of the cave. She noticed how Kopa and Vitani came closer, but still remained far enough to be alone. Her reddish-brown eyes were focused on these two, and she wondered if Kopa would kep the Zira issue as a secret for the time being.

Scruffy sighed and rolled over from her belly to her side. She laid her head on the soft grass, taking in the scent of freshness she hadn't been allowed to smell at the exile. It was... Relaxing, to smell the life everywhere she went, to hear living creatures, to feel the soft grass tickle her dirt brown fur...

And yet even though she relaxed, and even though she was extremely tired after all that had happened today, sleep would not come to the fluffy necked lioness. She laid still, then rolled over from her side to her back, gazing up at the tree above her. She watched as the leaves danced as the wind blew on them, listened as they let out the faintest sounds when they hit eachother.

And suddenly she realized that even if this waterhole wasn't the Pride Rock - the place where she had wanted to live during the years of exile... She was happy. Sure, it felt wrong that they had to live in two prides instead of one, but Scruffy begun to realize she might not feel as relaxed at the Rock as she felt here, under the trees by the waterhole.

She smiled as she rolled over to her side once more. She closed her eyes, and allowed herself the rest she needed. When she would have rested enough, she'd have a lot to do. She'd need to find out more about the old lioness so similar to Zira.

[Tamber]

Vitani listened to her mates thoughts on the issue, and was slightly disappointed. She laid her head down against him again. "I had thought it was Malka, too. But I don't see why he would bother her so much." Tani thought ot herself about the issue, considering what might be on Scruffy's mind, and whether she herself should be worrying about a being as strong and willful as Scruffy.

"I don't know," she finally said. "She'll be fine I suppose. It's been a rough day, huh?" Vitani's voice had gorwn weaker from the sleep that was quickly threatening to take hold of her.

Nala watched as her mate smiled half-heartedly at her and started to walk along as if he were headed to hs death. This bothered her a bit too, but only for the fact that it was bothering him. Trying to lift his spirits would certainly help the pessimisn he was spreading.

She caught up to him and spoke so only he could hear. "Hey," she said comfortingly. "Don't worry about Malka. Nothing's going to change between us. I promise. Just try and be happy to see an old friend, as he is happy to see you." She gave him a small smile and nuzzled his cheek.

She then turned around to Malka. "Well, come on Malka," she called with a smile.

[Sarafina]

Simba sighed. He stopped and nodded. When Nala looked away he mumbled something under his breath. "your friend...my enemy.." He sighed and looked at Malka. A big fake smile on his muzzle. He nuzzled Nala. He hoped she was right... If things did cange...there was no way he was going to be able to live with himself. He sighed and looked at his paws. He breathed in an out and smiled.

[Nadira]

Malka walked along side of Simba and Simba, Nala. He hadn't heard what they whispered mainly because he was busy thinking to himself. His scraggly black main fell over his face as he looked down. In a rush, he looked at Simba and smiled.

"So... your son told me the hyena's ran off. I take it you were responsible for that one." He laughed with a low tone similar to that of his own king. He fell silent for moment. "I could see you being to one to do that." He giggled again and looked back up to them again. "Also, where's that pesky blue bird that used to follow you everywhere. Nala, I remember you telling me how annoying that bird was even after Simba left the Pride. I know it's none of my business, but, why DID you leave the pride Simba? I just got lost from mine when I was just a wee cub. Came back a few moons later to visit you, but you were gone and this other lion was in charge. Everyone said you were dead."

Kovu looked at his mate and sighed. "Really? Well, I'd like to meet him." He reared on the ground and gave his tail a playful shake to his mate. "Ruffle him up a bit, show him who's boss!" He rolled on the ground in front of Kiara and batted her muzzle playfully with sheathed paws. He jumped up and sat upright. "A friend of your parents huh? Well, then it would be up to them then would it?"

Sarabi ambled along with Sarafina beside her, there was no hurry, dusk was approaching bringing with it time to relax and rest away the days troubles.

Walking past bushes she glanced down, seeing some leaves move together, a smile came to her muzzle seeing Kopa and Vitani embraced together. Looking away, her attention was caught again, there was Scruffy rolling from side to side in the long soft grasses.

Pausing for a moment she watched her, this close friend of Vitani and Kopa.. I'm just not sure about her, something seems wrong or upsetting her, she's been behaving strangely ever since she found Sarafina and my self and she rushed straight into us

Giving one final glance while Scruffy settled her self down,turning away Sarabi picked up speed , catching up to Sarafina. "well what an adventure packed little day we have had" chuckling at her own comment she looked at her friend "And now I think its time to get some much needed shuteye, I have a feeling our lives around here are going to change, and I'm not sure if it's for the better, to be honest".

Moving away from Sarafina, Sarabi walked over by the cave, but didn't go inside, instead she lowered her dusty coated form slowly down to the ground. With a little sigh she rested her head on her paws and looked up at the evening sky. Already the colours were fading and the greys were moving into there place, clouds were no longer hovering, and everywhere stillness was surrounding them.

" Oh Mufasa, how I miss you, and wish you were here beside me, my loving mate still" . Slowly her eyelashes lowered themselves blocking out all view, and Sarabi softly sighed and her body let her rest.

Simba smiled and chuckled a little. He nodded to the hyena question. When he asked why did he leave, he sighed and looked at Nala. He then looked straight and cleared his throat softly. "The other lion.....convinced me I killed my father...Only becuase i was there when te stampede began. He told me to Runaway and never come back." he sighed a little. "What a mistake that was." he said rolling his eyes a little. He sighed and looked at Nala . He nuzzled her a little and then looked around. He watched in the distance as he caught his son and Vitani...then Scruffy. He sighed and then turned his head a little to see his mother leaving Sarafina. He sighed and paid as much attention to Nala and Malka that he could handle.

Sarafina was pretty much talking to herself not knowing Sarabi had left. She sighed and stopped looking back. She smiled a little and watched her cath up. She opened her mouth but shut it quikly as Sarabi began to tal. Sarafina nodded and watched her leave. "Alone...once again..." Sarafina sighed softly. Ever since the Prides split up, Sarafina has felt more alone then ever. Since Sarabi went into the Pride with Kopa, Sarafina really had no one to talk to. Instead of going back to the main den, she walked to the back of Priderock and found a small tree. She layed down and looked at the sky and then forward. She sighed and looked at the grass. She let a tear fall and then let her head rest on her paws. Her eyes closed and she fell asleep. Her dreams filled of nothing but sadness.
