Species: Forest Lion.
About the Species: An near-mythical breed of green lions who live in forests. They live for much longer than ordinary lions and can often survive for weeks on sunlight and water. They are thought to be the source of the myth that lions are the King of the Jungle, even though lions rarely live in jungles or forests.

Description: Deep green fur, with even deeper green on his belly, tail-tuft, mane and the lower half of his muzzle. However, in sunlight his fur becomes a much lighter acid green, with even lighter green circles around his eyes. Fairly big for his age with a very expressive face that usually looks slightly goofy. Until he gets serious. Then he's a little scary.
Powers:
Father Nature: Control and creation of all plants. The quality and power of the plants depends on soil, water and sunlight. He isn't very good with the poisonous ones...
Chlorophyll: His fur absorbs sunlight that he can use to heal physical wounds. Light also gives him extra strength and energy. As you may guess, Rain is much more vulnerable at night.
Hydrokinesis: Powerful and fine-tuned control of water.
Personality: Very kind to those who respect nature, but protects forests and friends with his life. Loves people, forest, jungles and helping. Cocky and a ladies man. Usually passive yet determined. Occasionally overprotective towards lionesses and cubs.
History: His powers are passed down through his family, since hundreds of years ago. Believe it or not, but his great-great-great-grea-great-great grandfather often boasted that he created the savahnna that surrounds Pride Rock.
Rain spent his cubhood in forests and jungles with his mother, father and sister. Rain was extremely protective over his little sister, especially after she almost fell down a waterfall. She did actually fall down it- Rain had to catch her before she hit the water.
He and his sister Vine both had the same powers, except she could use light offensively and could move the earth. Rain never had a knack for it.
Rain swore to protect life and the forest at sixteen, which is when he left to explore the world.
