"*Laughs* You don't know anything about me you can't call me a fool or an idiot; I have seen others like you, it always ended the same, I do what comes naturally, I am a predator, and I can't be insulted by those who don't even truly fight."
Walaani closed his eyes and took a breath, still smiling.
"You have strayed far from your roots, no pun intended. You go ahead and leave; I fear nothing from an opponent who attacks me, unless they sneak up on me, then I'm scared for a second, but that's the cowards way."
He looked up at the spiders.
"I don't fear death, but fear is an automatic reaction, so I will but only for a second."

"What you're gonna do now is run"
Urari watched as the catterfly rose above everybody's head and started to say something, but quickly stopped as he remembered what she had just said and turned to run to the others. "Guys, where is the river? We really need to get there, otherwise we're all going to be in real trouble." he then glanced back up at the catterfly. "I feel so helpless now, what did I do to deserve this? I-I..." Urari just sighed and watched the spiders descend. "I don't know if i deserve to live..."

Rain's jaw dropped in astonishment. Was there some kind of plant growing here that caused extreme stupidity and suicidal thoughts? Was there any reason as to why the catterfly was practically committing suicide, White-Tail-Tuft was going through depression and Walaani was making no sense?!? What the heck did he even mean by HIM straying far from his roots!?!
"ENOUGH!" Rain roared. "You-" he turned to White-Tail-Tuft. "Snap outta it! You-" he turned to Walaani. "Shut up! And YOU-" he glared up at the flying catterfly. "You stand no chance against them even as a distraction. Since you're all acting so stupidly, for reasons I cannot fathom, I'll handle this!" He took a breath, and thought of water.
He drained the water in the air, ground and plants, leaving enough for each plant to survive. He began to take hundreds of gallons, starting to turn it into a cylinder-shaped shield, like a whirlpool around them. They'd be at the dry centre of the huge shield of water.
Rain began walking towards the river, taking the still-forming shield with them.
"Stay close to me," he grunted. "If you get left behind, those spiders will trap you in their web before they drain your blood and leave your hollow corpse for the scavengers."
Morbid, perhaps, but Rain wasn't above extremely graphic disturbing threats.

"-- and I can't be insulted by those who don't even truly fight."
"Yeah", Kyrlla muttered yelled back at the caramel lion with a shrieking voice. "And you get everyone else close by killed in the process. Well done, idiot!" She flew higher, ignoring the others. She wasn't quick enough, because Rain's words reached her ears.
"You stand no chance against them even as a distraction. Since you're all acting so stupidly, for reasons I cannot fathom, I'll handle this!"
Kyrlla sent a quick glare down at the green lion. Who was he to tell her what she could do? Did he think the only thing she would be able to do is sit down and look pretty. Did he see her as some sort of a pet? Or even better, a child?!
She rolled her eyes, and turned her attention back at the spiders and bolted upwards on air so that she wouldn't hear what the lions were saying. The spiders had caught interest in her, but now that the green lion formed his swirling water shield, her work was lost and the spider's attention was back on the three lions.
Kyrlla decided she didn't want to be part of this idiocy that the green lion called "protecting", and bolted out of the water shield's reach just when it's forming was about to be completed. She was outside, and free, and the fool of a lion would not tell her what she could do. She saw how they began to head towards the river - or at least Rain did - and the spiders were clearly going to follow.
The catterfly decided that she needed to act now, if she was going to get anything done. Her wings, still glowing brightly, became even brighter now, so that the white glow coming off from them covered the catterfly completely from sight. She was close to the spiders, very close, and she smiled sadly when first one of them made a dash towards her, soon enough followed by a second one. She took a deep breath, then quickly turned to fly on her back at the same time as she created a mighty flap with her wings.
She exploded, or that was what it looked like. Blinding bright light shot from her glowing wings to all directions, and the two spiders that had come too close to her burned themselves and fell. Kyrlla fell too after releasing the light, though it was impossible to see her. She had twisted on air so that her feet faced the ground, and she laughed merrily when she fell closer and closer to a branch. When the branch was supposed to hit her dead, she merged into it and disappeared from sight.

Walaani watched the catterfly's attack, with an 'this is interesting' look on his face.
"Well it looks like you have strayed far from your roots, but maybe not as far as I thought. Oh and I'm not an idiot, I just don't care for people I just met." He said careless of there thoughts, before blinking out toward another spider, and biting onto it's thorax.
"I have linked with enough people to understand most of them, and have gained a composite view on life, but there are a select few whom I can't understand; then again they're insane. It's actually kinda sad, but you live with it all the while." He threw the spider at another.

"You-Snap outta it!"
Urari sighed as he listened to Rain's attempts to get him to stop thinking the way he was thinking. "What did i do to deserve this? Being attacked by spiders that are way bigger than me?" he said to himself, thinking in the back of his mind that he was going crazy, but not bothering to stop. "Obviously i've done something.... but what? I might as well just-" Urari stopped as he saw himself being surrounded by a wall of water. "What the-?"He looked around saw Rain inside it as well. "Wait, you did this?"

Rain watched in enraged surprise as the catterfly and Walaani jumped OUT of the shield and attempted to fight off the hundreds of spiders. That said, they both had ways of evading the spiders that worked pretty well. He was almost dazzled by the catterfly's flash of sparkling light, but his fur absorbed it immediately, giving him strength and turning his fur white-green.
He felt her slip into a tree after she blinded the spiders, but the spiders here had extremely poor eyesight- they would be paused for ten seconds at most.
Rain was quickly feeling his opinion of Walaani slip down further and further as he gave a speech hinting about how tragic his life was as he tore a spider apart.
If feelings could kill, Rain would have leveled the forest by now. Idiots! Dumbos! Fools! Cretins! If they had just stayed in the damn shield they could have escaped without harming the spiders, but noooo! The catterfly and Walaani both had something to prove! At least White-Tail-Tuft had some measure of sense, even if he was depressive.
White-Tail-Tuft had something to say now. "Wait, you did this?"
Rain sent the energy from the catterfly's light into the water. "Yes. I couldn't build a proper jungle or forest without water, could i? Anyway, that flash of light gave me energy." He started jogging towards the river. "We should go faster now. The catterfly's safe, and if Walaani wants to commit suicide that's not my problem. Also, you should try blinding the braver spiders who are trying to break through the shield and are firing webs at us. It takes a lot of energy to make a shield this size without worrying about it's solidity."

Urari nodded as he followed Rain, still inside the Wall of water that was around him, looking around at it in awe. "Alright, i'll try to do what I can in order to protect us. I really appreciate what your doing, thanks." he said, forgetting everything he was doing just before what was happening now. He then remembered something he should have said when he first met them. "Oh, by the way, the name's Urari, but you can call me Uri if you want." Urari looked behind the both of them and saw 2 spiders pursuing them. He smirked to himself. "The first of the foolish have come to meet their doom."

"I see no reson to hide behind a sheild, but to each his own... or her own." Walaani said lifting his head and blinking toward a spider. He bit into it, and threw it against the ground. He grabbed another on the way down.
"Now let's see if I can..." He linked into one of the spiders, and the as he did, he searched it's mind.
"There cowards, I just have to look threatening enough, and..." He roared and balistad (don't know if that's a usable word) into them in short birsts to scare them.

"No!" Rain snapped with surprising force. "Do not kill them or permanently harm them. Remember they only attacked because of that idiot over there." Rain glanced up to the canopy. Was the catterfly up there? Impossible to tell- the water blurred everything outside it.
Rain sent a flurry of leaves to distract the spiders in the trees. If the rare blue and yellow plant was here, the river should be... Here!
"The river is up ahead! Follow my lead!" It was a forbidding river. It flowed extremely quickly and powerfully, and if any of them fell in Rain wasn't certain he had the power to save them. "Just keep running straight ahead! Do not stop!"
He quickly created a wooden bridge to a large, flat rock in the centre of the river. Just a hundred metres to go!

Urari was surprised at the force that Rain said this in and quickly obeyed him in the fear that something would happen to him. "Er....ok, whatever you say. He then looked up ahead of him and saw the river that they needed to reach, and almost gave up at that point. The river was a quick death for somebody who fell in.
Urari didn't give up though, as he saw Rain create a bridge over to a large rock in the middle of the river. He sprinted towards it, behind Rain, just hoping that the bridge Rain created would hold.

Walaani stood high up on a rock, and started glowing red. The spiders were moving around in front of him, to threatened to approach. "I see nothing stopping you from attacking, bring it on." He said mocking them. He dug his claws into the rock, and growled.
The spiders eventually retreated to the trees. "That wasn't so hard, and luckily they left during the attack. *sigh of relief* Finally no more people to bother, or insult me." He said as he got off the rock.

Urari had a constructive suggestion that would help them somehow. "Er....ok, whatever you say."
Rain almost ground his teeth in frustration. The guy had sense, but a spine was important too. Rain was sprinting full tilt at the bridge he created over the river. It wasn't fancy, just tree roots twisted together tightly. There was a freaking-out moment when a spider threw itself directly at him. He glanced into eight, shiny black eyes and saw brown-furred bodies and legs before he ripped it away. Rain risked another peek backwards. He couldn't see Walaani anywhere- he might've teleported out. He couldn't see the catterfly either- he strained to try and spot her in the canopy, but he wasn't able to focus enough to feel her presence in the trees.
Rain leapt towards at the bridge, landing awkwardly and scrabbling for purchase. He regained his balance and kept running, He heard Urari panting slightly. At least he hadn't fallen in. Yet. They were halfway across the gigantic river and spiders were beginning to scratch across it, knocking each other off in their haste. The thundering of a waterfall about a hundred metres downstreaml was roaring in his ears.
Rain thought he should encourage Urari, in case he lost his nerve, froze, fell in and/or got eaten. "We're doing good! Another minute!" Ok, he wasn't great at encouragement and the waterfall probably deafened him anyway, but it was the thought that counted.

Urari slowly but surely made his way across Rain's makeshift log. It wasn't the sturdiest thing he had ever walked across, but it would do. He wasn't worrying about falling off of it or losing his balance, because he had trained multiple things when he was younger, constantly improving and working extremely hard to master them. Balance was one of those things he had mastered.
However, getting across the 'bridge' was being made increasingly difficult by the spiders that were trailing behind Urari and Rain. Urari Wasnt about to let this get to him though, as he just concentrated on where he was putting his paws. He barely heard Rain shouting to him due to the crashing of water over the waterfall, so he just decided to ignore it and continue trying to get along the bridge and to safety.

As Walaani watched the spiders retreat, he started eating the few dead. "Alone at last." He said lifting his head.
"At least I think I'm alone, that catterfly disapeared." He said lifting one of the spiders, and removing it's leg.
"So many people have been in my head and have yet to leave." He said laughingly.

Rain leaped off the bridge and quickly spun around, already about to collapse the bridge. His jaw dropped in astonishment. He'd kept a shield behind Urari, automatically compensating for his speed subconsciously, but the great big twit was waaayyy behind Rain. The lion was going too slowly for Rain's comfort- he'd expended a lot of energy holding a water shield of this size and strength for so long, and he wouldn't be able to keep it up for much longer.
"URARI!!! HURRY UP!!!" He roared. Urari didn't glance at him. The waterfall drowned out his roar. Rain decided to halt the polite approach and sent a thick vine flying towards the lion. "Sorry, Urari," he said tiredly. The vine snaked, whip-like around Urari's body and whipped back near Rain. The vine sent Urari flying at Rain, who quickly summoned a sparkling shield of water to absorb his impact. The water had some give to it, so it let Urari go through the thick shield until he fell out the other side on to dry land beside Rain.
Rain spun again in case Urari blinded him like he was always saying, and almost paled in fright. The spiders had flown across the bridge while he was occupied, close enough to see their brown fur and hear the click-clack of their claws.
Rain altered the wood's solidity, making it rubbery and supple. He raised both front paws up, before slamming them down. The bridge copied his movement, making a wave-like movement that sent the spiders back to the other side. He quickly sent the roots that made up the bridge shrinking back through the ground. The spiders chittered in fury, knocking some of their own kin into the river.
Rain turned his attention to Urari. He nudged Urari with his muzzle. "You alright now? Sorry I had to do that, but I was running out of power and they were right behind you..." He trailed off. He didn't want to hear what imaginative words Urari no doubt was about to say. "Sooo... Are you okay?"

Kyrlla re-appeared at the tree tops, away from the spiders and closer to the sunlight. She stood firmly there with her eyes closed tightly and both of her wings spread wide. They had lost their colour when she had released the light from them. But now as she stood in sunlight the colour began to return to them, and after a few moments she was back to normal.
The catterfly opened her golden eyes and gazed around the sea of leaves. She was alone for the first time after she had woken up. It had been bad luck on her part to run into these fools right when it was time to wake. She couldn't understand why she had even remained there to help them, when clearly they thought she was just a cute little thing one could have as a pet.
Kyrlla rolled her eyes and snorted. She should leave these strangers and go find something to eat, but she was too annoyed at how they had treated her that she decided she would go and see if they had managed to escape the spiders. And, if they had, she would let them know exactly what she thought of them.
This decided, the catterfly pounced on air and began flapping her wings. Rain had spoken of a river, and if her memory worked right there was only one river that was close enough to be the river Rain had meant. She headed to that direction, and soon enough she came across with a gap in the sea of leaves. The river was there, cutting off everyone's path unless they had the ability to fly.
She lowered down and noticed Rain with the bright tail tufted fellow on one side of the river while the hordes of spiders were on the other side. She narrowed her eyes. The third fellow, the most idiotic one, wasn't with them.
She shrugged and dove down from the sky. She hadn't liked the third lion much anyway, and there was already enough she had to say to these two guys. She landed softly on the ground behind the two lions, and glared up at them with sparkling eyes.
"So..." she said with a slightly cold tone. "You two escaped then."

"Where am I supposed to go, what am I supposed to do. Look at what a lack of faith has brought me, I wish I had listened earlier." Walaani said, as he scratched his head.
"I don't care, I don't care." He said as he bowed his head. Digging his claws into the ground, and grinding his teeth, beginning to glow red.
"I... DON'T... CARE!!" He said plowing through every tree in his path. He didn't stop as he reached a boulder, plowing it through.
As he stopped, he looked around finding anything he could destroy. He ran down into a cave, and turned around. He ran as fast as he could, and as he reached the end of the cave, he leaped into the air. He balisted into the air flying as high as he could, and as he started to fall, he balisted straight down to the ground causing a huge crater in the ground. 100 feet across on all sides.
"Now why did I do that? Oh not another fit of rage." He said looking around. He jumped from his crater to the edge.
"Now I know this isn't going to attract atention." He said rolling his eyes.

Wanda was floating through the treetops, searching for Rain. She needed to find Rain, especially because of the rather large explosion she had just noticed. She jumped through the branches until she was close to the source. There was a dark lion in the centre of the crater. Wanda hissed and withdrew, more determined than ever to find Rain. She jumped through the branches, getting closer to the river. She flew across it quickly, far too quickly for the green lion to see her. Wanda narrowed her cherry-red eyes as she saw the green lion who had been hiding from her. She slunk in front of a large red flower the same colour as her fur. Wanda pounced.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Rain shook out his fur and turned to the catterfly. He was slightly disturbed by the look the catterfly was directing at him. It was almost identical to the one his sister gave whenever he was overprotective. He nodded and made a brave attempt at a smile. "Yeah, we managed to escape. I didn't see what happened to Walaani, the one who provoked them. Did you see what happ-"
Rain didn't finish his sentence as a red blur crashed into him, sending him flying over the edge of the river. "Wanda?!? he yelped. He opened an eye to see he was floating over the water. "Rain." she greeted him. Wanda lifted them back over to land. "You shoulda seen the look on your face!" she laughed. "It's like you were gonna die!"
Rain rolled his eyes. "Urari, Miss Catterfly, this is Wanda. We were playing a game of hide-and-seek before I found you. Wanda is the most powerful telekinetic lioness you'll ever meet."
Wanda was surprised by the catterfly. She hadn't bothered to check if anyone was around Rain, and she had never seen such an unusual creature before. She smiled and bowed. "It's nice to meet you, Miss Catterfly. Rain, there's a new crater in your forest. A pretty big one. Looks like an explosion. Not one of mine," she added hastily. "There was a dark caramel lion in the middle of it, so I thought you should know."

Urari was lying on his back in a complete state of shock, and also quite considerable pain. This was probably to be expected after he had just been thrown off of a bridge and onto a very hard bit of land, probably rock. He slowly and steadily looked around himself, making sure he didn't hurt himself even more than he was at this point in time. To make things even better (hint the sarcasm ) Rain had just walked over to him and asked him THE most stupid question imaginable. sooo...Are you okay?Urari Just sat lay there, giving him a death glare, indicating that he was not a very happy lion at this moment. He took in a deep breath to start shouting at Rain when a large pain in his chest told him otherwise. He just about squeaked out "Broken ribs" on the exhale. He then tried to roll over and stand up but, again, a large pain un his front left leg practically screamed to him not to, so he rolled back onto his back. "Broken leg" he managed to squeeze out with the last of his breath. He was just about to poke Rain to tell him to help, when the catterfly suddenly appeared from nowhere. "What the..." he silently whispered to himself as he looked up at the catterfly. The expression on her face told Urari that we were going to be shouted at, a lot. Urari just groaned and lay there, about yo go to sleep, when a red blur landed next to us. A friend of Rains then ? he thought to himself, still not able to do stuff because of his broken bones. "Just leave me to die then..." he said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

OOC: Sorry my posts are so close, but I said I was leaving tomorrow so this is my last chance to post and I want to get Rain and Wanda out.
Rain was barely recovering from Urari's death glare when he heard a couple of faint squeaks.
"Broken ribs..."
"Broken leg..."
He turned to give Urari a concerned look. Wanda followed his eyes and gave Urari a pitying look.
"Just leave me to die then..." Urari whispered.
A wave of guilt hit Rain. Apparently his water shield hadn't slowed Urari down enough, and now he was pretty badly injured. Wanda stared accusingly at him, somehow knowing it was his fault. Urari's death glare had probably clued her in. Her look said 'Help him, you idiot.'
Rain walked over to Urari and said, "Hey Urari, you alright? I'm gonna heal you, so just stay absolutely still." The staying still wasn't necessary, but at least he wouldn't glare at him anymore. Between Wanda, the catterfly and Urari, he was sick of people glaring at him. It wasn't like he did anything bad... on purpose.
Rain's fur had slowly been turning bright acid green in the sunlight, and he sent all of that energy towards his paws and into Urari. A green light glowed around his paws as his fur lost its bright green, returning to its darker colour. The swelling on Urari's left leg went down, and the cracks on his rib grew together. The bone of his right leg liquified, and healed completely. His torn muscles were sewn back together.
Rain sat back on his hind legs, much like a dog and huffed out a breath. "You're fi-"
------------------------------------------------------------
Wanda watched as Rain used his healing gift, as his paws glowed green and his fur returned to its darker lustre. He healed the one with the white tail tuft without much difficulty- Wanda was always amazed at the amount of power he got from the sun. She walked up to him and smiled as he finished his work. Rain said, "You're fi-" was all he got out as something crashed into him, sending him flying over the waterfall.
"RAIN!" Wanda shrieked as he fell down the falls. Wanda sprinted towards the edge of the cliff and jumped down after him.

Urari Just lay there and let Rain use his healing powers to repair his broken bones, and any other injuries he may have suffered while Rain attempted to 'save him'. He just rolled his eyes at this thought and sighed. at least he's making up for the fact he nearly killed me... he thought, as he continued to lie there, waiting for Rain to heal him.
About a minute later, Rain stopped glowing green and stopped healing him. Urari figured that his broken bones were healed again, and he would be able to walk again. To make sure this was true, he slowly stood up, putting pressure on his previously broken leg. As he did this, nothing began to hurt and he wasn't in pain. "Wow! You did a great job Rain!"
you're fi-
Urari stood there in shock and horror as Rain was knocked off of the waterfall by something that he couldn't make out. It all happened so quickly and suddenly, he didn't know what he should do. The situation was made even worse as Wanda jumped off, going after Rain. "No! What's got into her!" he turned to the catterfly. "I never really caught your name, but you have to go down and see if they're ok. I have a really bad feeling about this. I need to go and get help. I don't know where I'm going to go, but I promise I'll be as quick as I can." turning away, Urari started to run off into the rainforest that lay ahead of him. Suddenly, he stopped and turned to the catterfly again. "Hopefully we'll meet again" with that, he ran off into the rainforest, disappearing from sight.
((OOC: sorry, I'm also going on holiday today. I won't be back for 10 days, so I had to get my chari out too. Sorry Kir!))
