Part 4: The Journey

Kadoo slinked around to a sand dune, and peaked her head over. She snuck up behind it, slowly inching forward. The camel picked it's head up. Kadoo started to jump and the camel paniced, and kicked itself up. Kadoo landed on it's side, and tried to bite.

A.J watched as Kadoo jumped on the side of the camel and tried to bite it. "Right, now this is where I come in." he walking and then increased his pace as the camel came closer. When he was running next to the camel, he pounced onto it bit down into it, eventually bringing it down with the help of Kadoo. "There we go, you did great Kadoo, as usual."

"You weren't to bad yourself." Kadoo said lifting her head.

"Now let's drag him down to the others." She said blowing a strand of hair out of her face.

"Yeah, but I couldn't have done it without you." A.J smiled and walked to the camel. "Anyway, let's get back, yeah." he grabbed part of the camel in his mouth.

"Dish ding ish heye *drops camel* This thing is hevy." Kadoo picked the camel back up.
She continued but droped it again shortly after.

"I think it would be better if we brought them to us." She sighed.

V troveled out as far as he could, listening to the voices stubbornly argue.
{V-1} "I don't think that he has really been the cause, so much as the effect."
{V-2} "That dosn't change the fact that he was part of the cause."
{V-1} "But it dose change whether or not he should be punished."
{V-2} "No it dosn't! He should pay, he could have chaned it but he failed to act."
{V-1} "Even if you were right how would you suggest he pays, hmm? But it dosen't matter because you are wrong."
{V} "SHUT UP! You aren't getting anything done." V said, and as he did he noticed no one around him.

{V-1} "We cannot quiet... we are a creation of your mind, you made us so you would have someone to talk to."
{V-2} "And with that attitude I can see why you need us."

"Alright then, one of us should stay here and guard this. Not like there is going to be anything to guard against, but just in case. So, who should go and get the others and who should stay here?" A.J asked

[xscar10]

"I don't know, I think I should go, I'll be back quick." Kadoo said, rubbing up against A.J.
She walked over to the others.

"Hey guys we cought somthing, if you're hungry come on." She said.

[thegunner18]

"Alright, I'll try and cope on my own!" A.J shouted to Kadoo as he watched her run off. "Now the hard part. Waiting." he said to himself as he lay down and watched for any scavengers.

"Oh good, I was getting hungry." Iya said.

"We are coming, as fast as we can." Jicho said.

V tried to move as quickly as possible, but soon he noticed he was being fallowed.

A.J sighed as he waited for Kadoo and the rest to get back. He decided to get up and walk around for a while so he had something to do. All of a sudden a jolt of pain shot through his leg but he ignored it as he thought it was just a thorn. "stupid thorns, why are they always somewhere that you can stand on them..." he walked back over to the dead camel and waited again.

Kadoo walked back over to A.J.
"Hey A.J., the others are coming soon." Kadoo said.

"I think we can eat wile we're waiting." She said.

A.J looked up as he heard Kadoo come back. "Okay then, how long do you think they'll be? Well, actually, they do have to carry Naki and Nabu up here so, yeah....quite a while." he took a bite out of the camel and gestured with his head for Kadoo to come and eat aswell.

Kadoo took a bite.
"I wonder what happened to V." Kadoo said.

"He didn't beleave I was family last time we talked to him." She sat beside him.

"Maybe he'll change his mind if we ever actually find him. I hope we do find him...or he finds us." A.J took another bite out of the camel and swallowed it. "I can't wait until all of this is over, can you?"

"I wonder what will happen in the end." Kadoo said.

"And we will likely see V again, eventually." She said.

[thegunner18]

"Yeah..." A.J looked up at the sky and sighed. "I wonder what will happen. I'm sure it'll end well though. We aren't exactly pushovers, are we?"

(did you watch the England vs U.S.A world cup match?)

"Well I'm not." Kadoo said jokingly.

"Anyways *takes bite, gulp* what do you think, we're gonna find when we get to the tree?" She asked.

((Sorry I don't really watch sports much *Shrugs*))

"I dunno, probably a pretty big tree with a wise old monkey sitting in it meditating." A.J said sarcastically. "No, but honestly, I don't have a clue what to expect." he looked behind him. "When ate they going to get here anyway?"

"Oh, there they are now." Kadoo said.

"Weird, they come right when you say that." She stood up.

"Finally.. Who knew Nabu was so hevy?" Iya said.

"At least we'll have somthing to eat." Jicho said.

A.J smiled and looked at Jicho and Iya. "yeah, I must have some sort of power." he said sarcastically. "Anyway, i'll let you lot have your fair share."

"Thank you A.J." Jicho said.

"Alright, food!" Iya said biting into the camel.
---
"So chivalrous." Kadoo said laughingly

V trudged forward, ever vigilant of his followers.
{V-2}"Why don't you just kill them?"
{V-1}"Always so over-confident?"
{V-2}"No just aggressive."
"Maybe I could see who it is..." V said turning his head slightly.
He could barely see his stalkers, but eventually he found, his followers were Qymean, Jai, and Sheelal.

"Figures, the three most irritating people in the world, and they're fallowing me." V said.

The lioness got up and stretched shaking the dust off her bangs that covered her left eye entirely she began too search for a water spot stumbling upon a group eating a fresh killed camel she wouldn't stoop so low too beg for a meal though so she turned around,

and began to find a good hunting area when she fell over on her stomach she sighed and got up. "Stupid rock.." She moved her bang over again and shook the dirt away from her face and stomach she began licking the wound on her left backleg closely eyeing the tall grass where she saw the group.

A.J smiled and took a few steps back, away from the camel. "No problem, don't mention it." he sat on his haunches and looked around, not really expecting anything to be around, but his thoughts changed when he caught a glance of a lioness in the distance. "Er...Kadoo? Should we go and investigate that?" he said, pointing towards the lioness.

"*giggle* I guess, but I don't think she means harm. You guys stay here." Kadoo said looking over to the others.

"Shure, I'll just keep eating." Iya said.

"Thanks to these guys I can't go to sleep." V thought as he walked.

"An idiot, a big idiot, and a girl that just plain gives me the creeps." V said.
{V-1}"Well she is prety."
{V-2}"Prety creepy."

A.J looked around at everybody else who seemed to be fine with them leaving to find out what was what. "Alright then, lets go." he got up and started walking over to the lioness. When he was about halfway, he started feeling a burning pain in his paw, but just shrugged it off and continued walking. 

After a few more steps though, A.J began getting pains in his leg muscle where he initially felt the burning pains, which were still going. He fell to the ground and lay there in immense pain, accompanied by Nausea and tightness in his chest, beginning to find it difficult breathing.

She got up and scoffed at the group approaching her and sat near the one on the ground. "Hmmmm....a spider bite this will be a easy heal." She shoves the bangs over her left eye and opened a bag attached too a belt on her waist and puts them on the bite and then wrapped it with cobweb.

"Don't mention it." She got up shrugged, "By any chance you know a good hunting spot round these parts?"

A.J started panting and began sweating a lot, even though it was quite cold in the desert at night. "N-no...that won't heal...bite...toxins...already quite far...up the nerv-nervous system..." he just about managed to say, taking very deep breaths in between every couple of words. "I-I feel sick..." he said, with a slight slur in his voice, a bad headache, and dizziness.

She put a paw too her forehead and began thinking, "he needs a shaman or a better healer then me otheriwse he will die." She got up and shrugged. "Afraid I don't know any nearby shamans though."
