It was a bright moonlit night, and the desert was bighting cold.
Kadoo, A.J., Nabu, Jicho, Upepo, and Iya all started on there way to the tree.
"Ugh, the desert is really cold, and boaring." Iya said irritatedly.

"Well what did you expect?" Kadoo asked.

V waited until the middle of the night, and watched the guard patterns.
"3..2..1 and... now." V said moving up the steps. He attacked and took out a guard.
"Wow that was easy. Now let's see, if I climb up here I can take the next path out." V said.
V snuck out to the platform, when he saw Demona's kingdom. Guards, and slaves as far as the eye can see.
"Huh, didn't expect this, but.. oh well." He said, a little carlessly.
He saw one guard beating an old black lion.

"Who told you to stop?" The guard yelled beating the lion.
---
V's voice was a wisper that moved up in volume.
"Stop... stop... Stop... STOP!" V's voice ended in a yell, as he pushed the guard off the platform to his death.
"Are you ok?" V asked, but the old one was too scared to answer.
V turned and ran off leaving a faint trail of dust.

"Wha... What's happening?" Upepo asked as Nabu was picked up, not realising that he had fell asleep in his mane.

A.J looked down at Upepo who had just woken up. "We're going to a special place, you'll see where it is when we get there." he then remembered something and turned to Kadoo. "Should he really be coming with us? I don't want him to get hurt, that's all." he said in a whisper.

V moved slowly throughout the ruined city.
"I... I... I don't know, what should I do?... What? Ha ha Ha ha ha. I just don't know." V said interchanging between smiling and frowning.

"Yeah...I suppose so...we'll just have to keep an eye on him. However that shouldn't be too difficult with the keen eyes you have." A.J smiled at Kadoo and then looked down at Upepo, still smiling. "Yep, it will be quite easy if he falls asleep all the time."

V stumbled on, moving from one side to the other. The voices in his head slipped around as they coined off there opinions to him.
{V-1}"You could always move on."
{V-2}"No if you move on you'll forget the lessons you've learned, and repeat them."
{V-1}"Why not move on you could become a new man."
{V-2}"New man? Have you forgotten all the pain and suffering caused by the old one? You cannot move on without paying for you sins."
{V-1}"You have paid for them enough, you lived this life with every sin reconciled."
{V-3}"Ha ha Ha ha ha"

A.J looked over at Jicho. "Well, we have basically only just met, so it isn't much of a surprise, but what do you want to know about me? Ask away." he then turned to Kadoo. "You really think I have keener eyes? I don't think that's true."

A.J noticed Kadoo and looked at her with an amused expression. "What? was it something i said? Sorry if i embaressed you...Anyway..." he turned his head to Jicho. "Well, i don't know anything about when I was a cub, i didn't know where i came from...who my parents were...that was until Naki, told me everyting, but that can be kept for a later time." He took a deep breath and continued "My intentions are to get back to my original pride in the Amani lands and become their ruler like i was supposed to be..."

"Ah I see, My guess because of your lack of memory, you have a gap in your life that you are trying to fill with love." Jicho said glancing at kadoo.
"To become leader, would be an honor, but also a burden, in wich case you will feel a need to gain a queen." She said.
"Wich is why I ask a second time, what are your intentions, but this time the subject is my doughter?" She said.

"I-Well, I wouldn't put it like that-I just..." A.J began to stutter. He looked down at the ground and sighed, turning away from them all. "I need some time to let things settle down in my mind, just go on without me for a while, i'll catch up soon enough." he walked away from the group then lay down and tried to relax.

"Yea you really are a mom, embarasing, and chaising my boyfreind away." Kadoo said. She turned and sat.

(Eh, i don't care  ) A.J glanced back at Kadoo, Jicho and the rest of the group then back at the ground and closed his eyes. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly and opened his eyes again. He started to make strange symbols in the sand with his paw without really knowing what he was doing. |

He noticed where he was. The desert boarder.
"I'm gonna regret this." V said.

A.J overheard Kadoo talking to Jicho and sighed."Yeah, struck a nerve alright..." he muttered to himself while still making symbols in the sand. He now had his eyes closed though.

(yay! thanks! lol  ) A.J slowly stood up and let out a sigh. He looked up at the night sky, stars twinkling along with the white gleam of the moonlight that filled the sky. Such a beautiful night...he thought. It's a shame I cant spend it in peace He then turned his attention over to Kadoo and Jicho and started walking towards them. |

V was running through the desert, feeling the sand shift beneath his paws. The moon was bright, with no clouds above him.

Once A.J reached Kadoo and Jicho he Closed his eyes, took a deep breath, let it out again and then opened them again. "Well...here I am again...and hopefully a lot more relaxed." he said, waiting for a response.

A.J followed Kadoo away from Jicho. "Yeah...I think you're right you know..." he said, trying to think back to the last time they were alone together. "Yep, your definitely right." his gaze made it's way up and was met with the cloudless, starry night. He smiled at this. "I thought we would never get any peace. Just us together...couldn't really get a better night than this..."

(( Here's Nabu, Wheres Naki again? Sorry for the storytellers post ))
Nabu awoke. Well he didn't physically wake, but his mind was acting lime he was. Nabu was running in lush fields of golden Savana Grass. He was as free as a bird, or as free as one can be while trapped within their own mind. He ran and he ran, abruptly, he left the golden grass, and entered a desolate wasteground. Nabu quickly stopped, but as he did the remarkable happened.
'BANG' a very large stone wall ha appeared behind him, and it stretched for as far as the eye could see in each direction. He was trapped. There was one small hole, he looked through it and saw the remarkable. His father, mother sister, AJ Naki and cubs playing, yet he was trapped. He called out, but as he did, he grew further and further away. Roaring in pain a familiar voice spoke to him, his fathers.
"You are worthless, unfit to rule, unfit to be a lion" His father said laughing, "the only way to survive is to become like me, Kill for respect, and let no one appose you!" his father laughed, Nabu screamed. He was afraid for the first time since he was a young cub. "NO! please no!" he screamed falling to the ground
In the real world, Naki was also Shaking and roarig

"Upepo quickly awoke, "Whats going on?" he asked seeing nabu roaring. "Nabu?" he asked walking over to him, "Please, my friend, be at peace." Upepo said as Nabu slowly calmed down, still shaking.

"I couldn't agree more." Kadoo said, and she started to whistle.(can you feel the love tonight) She giggled.
"I miss Naki, he's the reason we're here." She said, all of a sudden she heard Nabu roar.

"What the...?" Iya said.
"Oh Nabu..." She said saddly, as he calmed down.

A.J smiled and began whistling along with Kadoo, enjoying himself a lot in the process. He abruptly stopped as he heard Nabu roaring. He sighed. "Should we ignore him? He has Jicho, Iya and Upepo there anyway..."

She closed her eyes and took in a deep breath.

"Nope. There isn't anything like the nightair, is there." A.J walked up to Kadoo and nuzzled her. "Well...we're supposed to be finding food, but who cares?" he asked rhetorically. "We're here...alone and together for once...no one's going to ruin a moment like this." he looked back at where they had just come from. "I think we should get further away from them. Come on, let's go." he said, rubbing his side against Kadoo's as he walked.

A.J looked at the camel and then at Kadoo. "Ladies first." he said simply, gesturing towards the camel. "I insist. Don't worry though, I'll follow on behind you."
