"He was not fit to live" ignoring both the pain from his fathers backhand and V's ram, "I actually did him a favour, with the only shaman for miles unconcious, he would be dead within the hour, and it would be painful. He stood up, walked over to the guards carying Naki and Kadoo, "Come" he said and they walked off back home, ignoring the shouts of the rest if them.

Ugh, the boy is way too rash, I might have to kill him if he annoys me further.
Hidden among the low grass, Shari was waiting for the oppertune moment to appear. He had no problem with waiting, but his patience with the actions of these mammals was wearing thin. At least Mwiba knew how to act properly during such a situation. He wouldn't have expected any less.
With a hiss he rose from the undergrowth, seemingly appearing out of nowhere, his head hovering a mere inch away from Mwiba's snout.
"Hello, 'son'."

"Ah Shari, it's been a long time." Mwiba walked around him.
"I'm surprised your still alive." Mwiba turned to see him.

"Did you expect anything else?" the snake replied nonchalantly, lashing his tongue, "I should be the one surprised, your survival was something I hadn't even considered when I entered these lands."
He then gave something what could vaguely be described as a wink.
"What has happened here during my absence?"

"What of you?" He asked Shari.

"Ah Mwiba," the snake began, "that information is strictly confidential and you know that."
It was, Shari's business was his own, he never shared it with his (former) pupils. You never know when one of them might have the guts to betray you. But still, all who did so met a slow and agonizing death within his constricting embrace. The thought made him hungry, he hadn't eaten in months.
"Do you happen to know where I can hunt?" he asked, and then added with a sickening grin: "Or can you miss one of the lions under your command?"

"My son is avalable. Heh heh heh." Mwiba laughed obviously kidding.
"As for hunting, maybe you can come with us." He started walking.

"Naki, oh." Said V.
"I'll get revenge I give you my word." V was thinking of all the others who had died, ploting his revenge.

Kadoo woke up, and looked to the side, seeing Naki's carcase. She flinched, she waited for the right moment, and jumped off the lions back, and made a break for it.
She sprinted past Nabu, and Mwiba, jumping over Shari.

A feisty little damsel, but not feisty enough.
What the lioness hadn't realized was that snakes had lightning fast reflexes. Before she knew it Shari had wrapped the tip of his tail around her hind legs, dropping her to the ground. More coils wrapped around the bewildered feline, trapping her front legs against her body. With a hint of amusment he moved her face in front of his.
"Do not make me devour you."
And with a quick hiss, he tightened his coils to make the lioness realize that he was serious, before neatly dropping her off next to the lion that was supposed to be guarding her.
"That goes for you too."

"I beg to differ." Said a white gorilla standing on the hill ahead.
"ATTACK!!!" He said as his gorillas ran forward.

V knew he was going to have to hide but he wasn't fast enough. Mwiba was pummeled until he retreated.

Vhad been beaten senceless, Naki's body was on the ground, and Kadoo was speaking with Salem.
"Thank you my freind." She said tending to Naki.

"He's dead why heal him?" Asked Salem.

"It is what I feel I need to do." Kadoo carried Naki on her back.
---
"Vary well." Salem said.
---
"Well thank you for the food, but I must go." Said V.
"I'll hunt Mwiba down, along with Nabu, and Umeach, and kill them. I am no longer loyal to the traitors! You have my aliances Salem." He bowed to him.
"But after I kill them I'll be king and unite the land ,I have found my perpose." He walked away.
"Come on Kadoo. I'll bring you to Umeacha, and I'll take over." They walked away together.

So much had happened in such a small space of time. The gorillas had come and attacked Mwiba and the other lion known as Nabu, another stranger had appeared, a snake, Kadoo had seemingly escaped, and Naki was dead. A.J walked silently over to Naki's body, however he didn't cry. He wasn't one for crying, and this day wouldn't be any different. He had a strong heart, and it would stay that way. "Why? Why did you have die?" he turned to Nabu. "You little...." he swore under his breath but held himself back. Just. A.J pulled himself away from the scene and followed V and Kadoo
