 The days past slowly, nearly every one seeks power, seeks to live. some on the other hand who had power, seeked control. The Heshima pride lived on the grasslands, the social structure was obvious. King Nguvu, and Queen Uchawi ruled the land, and governed it, but after being "dethroned" the new king was Mwiba a tyrannical king. Mwiba saw only himself and his followers as "pure" and sought to exterminate all the other big cats. Naturally some disagreed with him, and all who did were either banished or killed. Mwiba thought that all the lion supported him until one day, a group of lions stood up to him. Given the fact that they were lions he only banished them. Years later they formed a new pride, the Wamesahau. The Wamesahau lived in the swamplands, and there leader was Umeacha. You decide what happens next. |

As Vivuli came to the Wamesahau/Heshima border he came to a cave where he stopped to rest.
"I hate this place, so Manny ignorant people, so many fools who think they have power." He said resting his head on his paws.
He stretched out on the ground, and stood up yawning with his tail in the air.
"Hopefully I'll get something to eat today." He walked out to a nearby tree and waited.

(Yes! I am back in business! Anyway, here's a reply I made earlier  ) Wandering through the grassy plains, Ajabu stopped to marvel at the beauty of the place. The birds, singing their tunes, antelope, grazing lazily on the grass beneath them, the sun was high in the sky and not a cloud could be seen. He hadn't seen such beauty since, well, ever. He couldn't remember much about his past but... no, I can't linger on that. I have to focus on the present, because the present holds the key to the past. Ajabu thought. It was a past that pained him so much, it was a past that he had no memory of and it was a past he was trying to find. Ajabu sighed and was about to walk into a cave to get some rest, both for his body and his mind, when he heard a voice "I hate this place, so Many ignorant people, so many fools who think they have power."What are they on about? How could they hate this place? It's beautiful! He had to find out more about this guy. Who he was, what he knew about this place. Maybe he could give some answers about my past."Hopefully I'll get something to eat today."heh, wait 'til he finds out that I've found a herd of antelope nearby Ajabu crouched down as low as he could and carefully made his way towards the stranger. Just incase he was a danger, Ajabu leapt at him, tackling him to the ground. He wasn't going to hurt him anyway. |

As Vivuli walked over to the edge of the cave and sat down, he heard something a little ways away in the bushes. The stranger pounced at him and landed on his back.
"Oh please, I heard you from a mile away, if I wanted to kill you you'd already be dead." He said easily slipping out from under him.
"And if your trying to kill me, your obviously an armature, and a fool." He moved behind him, slowly creeping out of the cave.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'm hungry and I want to get something before sundown." As he walked out of the cave he whispered "Imbecile."

Ajabu heard the panther mutter to himself "imbicile" This guy was really starting to annoy him, and they had only just met! Ajabu jumped at him, knocking him back down on the floor and pinning him, also putting a claw to his throat. "Well, I wasn't intending on killing you, but it seems I might have to soon, and nobody would be able to hear your screams" ajabu growled, showing his sharp canines

As he tried to leave the stranger jumped on him again.
"Oh bleeding heart, I insulted you boo hoo." He said before lifting him up on his back, and throwing him to the side.
"Normally I would welcome a fight, but I haven't the time to do so." He leaped up into a tree, and came to the edge of the branch looking forward to the field.
"I'll fight you later, after I'm fed. You don't intimidate me in the slightest, so don't try." He laid at the edge of the branch, and waited for something to get to close.

"oh whatever, I won't waste my time then, I have better things to do anyway, like, go talk to the king and ask him some things..." Ajabu trailed off, not wanting to reveal his past. "Anyway, nice place, you live here? Oh and, if you want something to eat there's some antelope behind me somewhere." Ajabu had decided he didn't want to make any enemies this early. "My names Ajabu by the way, A.J for short."

"My name is Vivuli but you can call me V, which king are you going to see if you don't mind me asking? Either one you go to see your going to need someone high profile to get you to see the king... For more than a few seconds anyways." He said jumping back down.
"Even so it's a half days walk to get to either of them so might as well stay, you'll never make it before nightfall, and you don't want to be out of the pride-lands after nightfall." He said going back into the cave.

Ajabu stopped and turned back to the panther named Vivaldi "There are two kings? I only thought there was one. King Mwiba, that's who I was going to see, and why shouldn't I be out at night?" Ajabu was very curious now, and wanted to know more.

"Umeacha is king of the Wamesahau swamp west of here, Mwiba doesn't like people to know about the Wamesahau pride. You see the Wamesahau pride isn't just lions it's all the big cats chased away by Mwiba, because he saw them as impure." He said bringing him into the cave.
"And you shouldn't be out at night because there are worse things than cats out at night, gorillas come down from the mountains at night but stay out of the pride-lands." He pulled himself onto a rock to sleep on.
"Feel free to sleep anywhere you want, it's already dusk so you'll see movement soon." He said before yawning.

"Technically I'm Wamesahau, but I'm nomadic, I was born in the dead lands to the south and traveled north." He said leaning toward him.
"I'm sor- I'm soor- I'm sorry for the way I acted before, it's just I've lived alone for years. I'm not used to people... Or at least people not trying to kill me." He lifted his paw as a gesture of humility.

"heh, don't worry, that's how I always act around new people. I don't trust them, in fact, I trust nobody. You ever heard the saying 'you have to trust someone to be betrayed'? Well I never have trusted anybody, not fully anyway. Anyway, we better get some rest, I'm going to make my way to the king of the Wamesahau pride, you might want to come, well, it seems you have to come" Ajabu yawned and dropped to the ground from tiredness.

"I haven't gone into pride-lands in a while, but I know one thing... Umeacha is obsessed with revenge, he hates Mwiba, and wants to return the land to the way it was under his fathers rule. So tomorrow be careful of what you say, and one thing to remember is that even though he hates Mwiba he is still his brother." He laid down to go to sleep.
"But that's enough for today the rest I'll tell you tomorrow."

The sun rose the next day to the sound of nothing. That was how Ajabu liked it. Peace and quiet. It was a time for letting yourself go, just enjoying what life had to bring.
Ajabu decided to get up and hunt for something. Him and V were going to need the energy to get to the Wamesahau pride.
Walking out of the cave, Ajabu went over to the spot where the Antelope were yesterday, and, as expected, they weren't there. typical, they can't even stay in one place! "Oh well, I suppose I'll have to search then." he said to himself, laughing.

Vivuli was pretending to be asleep and let A.J. do most of the work, but after a while he got up and snuck up behind him.
"You won't find anything I know this land like the back of my paw, the antelope travel west in the day but travel east at night. We won't find any on the way to the Wamesahau." He said walking up beside him.
"But there are termite mounds, maybe we'll find some anteaters." He said walking up in front of him.
"Come, the sun says this is east, lets go. I want to get to the water hole before the hippo's move down stream." He said walking a little faster.

Ajabu sighed and turned to V. "Hey, next time, you might want to kind of, let me know that there isn't anything to eat here BEFORE I look." he said sarcastically. "ahh well, let's just carry on east and hope for the best, ay? Maybe I can help the Wamesahau pride bring down that other king, that is, if what you say about him is true."

"I-I-" Ajabu stopped and looked down at the ground, eyes closed. He didn't really know how to put it. He sighed. "I-I don't know. I don't know where I came from, who my family were, nothing!!" Ajabu turned to the nearest tree and slashed his unsheathed claws against it, letting out all of his anger. "Absolutely nothing of my cubhood! It pains me to death!" he turned back to the tree and continuously hit it. Finally, he dropped down, head in his paws.

"It seems we have somthing in common, I don't know my family either." He said coming up next to him.
"When I was young I grew up on my own, my mother died when I was young. I never knew my father, and my brother and one of my sisters died. My other sister is a long story, but whatever is left of my family I know nothing about." He looked at the tree.
"We are mutch like this tree, my scars are many, your scars are deep, but they will heal in time." He placed his paw on his shoulder. His smile slowly faded.

Looking up, Ajabu saw V standing next to him. "Thanks I suppose. Sorry about that, it's just I'm not really used to talking about it. I wish I could tell you but...anyway I'm trying to find out what happened to my past, I've been travelling around the lands for god knows how long." Ajabu stood up. "and I'm sorry to hear about you and your family, looks like we ARE similar. Well, I think we should get going then. I'll try not to get angry again." smiling, Ajabu started walking

"I don't blame you I've done the same thing many times, but usualy to someone not something." They came up to thewater hole, and there were a pack of baboons on the other side.
"Be careful about those baboons they are small but they are vary aggressive, it looks like we got here before the hippos though." He lookedat A.J. and took a drink.
"Do you wan't to wait or try to pass them?"

Ajabu walked up to the watering hole and put his head down to drink. "Well, you know them better than me, I don't want to make a decision that goes and gets us both injured, or even killed but in my opinion we should try and pass. We don't know how long their going to be there for, we could be standing here for hours. If we don't make ourselves look agressive and we keep our distance, we should be fine, but it's up to you. You have the experience."

"I think your right, maybe we can get past without conflict." He looked over on the ground.
"look at that, those drag marks, thats a crock for shure. Keep your eyes open for anything that might be a crock." He walked along the bank, and looked at the baboons. One of the baboons had moved to close to the shore, and the crock jumped from the shallows and grappled the baboon.
"Well we found him, hurry while they're destracted." V ran past and into the wood.
"Come, come."

A.J looked over at the crocodile and the Baboon. "man, I wouldn't like to be attacked by one of them in a hurry" he then ran past the distracted baboons towards the forest that V was standing in. "What a stroke of luck, ay? Suppose we better carry on, I want to get to the pride as quick as possible really" He gave one last look over at the struggling baboon then started walking through the forest with V.

"I think the termite mounds are some little ways away, we'll see them soon. After the termite mounds we'll see the Wamesahau by nightfall." He said with his nose to the dirt.
"I smell those baboons still, they must have come through here or there are more of them." The scent was everywhere. He moved through the trees and looked around.
"Wait, I think it's this way, but it might be the sand pit. I made that mistake once, and don't want to do that again. I'll move ahead and check."
He said jumping up on a rock.

"Yep it was the sand pits, if you fall in the sand pits you get swallowed by the earth." He said jumping to the other path.
"Last time I fell in, I was lucky, I had jumped over and my back legs fell in." He said walking over to him, and jumping in the tree.
"Lets go, I can see the termite mounds in the distance."
