"I meant to see Maisha." Ma-akua said shaking his head, Ma-akua lookeds up to see the king shouting him, "Kyto go back to Maisha I don't know why the king is calling me." Bounding of Ma-akua sent dust everywhere. Bounding up Pride Rock he saw the King standing there snarling. Ma-akua nodded his head at the alpha only to get hit hard, "I told you to stay away." The king said, "Now GO!" He roared. Without a second glance Ma-akua ran off to the water hole.

When he arrived the sun was high in the bright blue sky, slumping down Ma-akua spotted Kyto and hastily hid his scar on his left shoulder, "Has Maisha woken up yet?" He asked curiously.

When Akua started coming down from Pride rock the sun was high in the air and gleaming in Kyto's eyes. "So what did the king want dad, did he tell you that your welcome back here again?" When Kyto looked into his father eye he saw sorrow. "Whats wrong dad?" With that said to Akua; Kyto started padding towards Akua to show his concern.

When Kyto got to his dad he saw that he had a scar on his left shoulder. "How did you get that?" Kyto asked with curiousity.

Maisha had pretended she was asleep when the new lion had come into view, she was watching him closely through hooded eyes and at the same time keeping an eye on the cub as well. silly little thing, how does he know that he wasn't about to be breakfast

Sighing to herself, well it's not my worry, if he goes away one less thing I have to concern myself with .
Once they had both disapeared, Maisha pushed herself to her paws and stretched out all the kinks from her body and moved down into the water giving herself a brisk dip and clean. Just standing there alone, no idle chatter could be heard, the lioness grinned and then yawned widely. Turning, she moved away from where she had rested and over to where a clump of bushes provided mid day shade. Half way there her ears twitched as she heard the males voices.

"Blast.. can't a lioness find solitude anymore ". Moving more quickly, she pushed herself under the nearest bush and rested her chin on her front paws and waited.

Ma-akua looked down to his new son, "it's ok, it was nothing." He looked up to the bright sun again, panting. "let's go to the water hole." Silently he padded toward the refreshment of a watering hole. Dipping his snout in he notice that the lioness had moved, after taking a few laps he turned to scan the area the water trickling under his paws. Eventully he spotted her but decided to ignore her since she didn't look to happy, shaking his head he yawned, then stretched and eventully settled down for a rest in the bright sun. It took him a while to find a comfy way of laying so he wouldn't hurt his scar. Looking curiously the scar he saw it was a shape of a crown, "the kings "royal slash." He grumbled rolling his eyes. Deciding to look away he eventully settled down to rest.

When Kyto got to the water hole he saw maisha under shady bushes and Maisha was awake. "Maisha hi why were you asleep for so long?" Kyto looked into the bright orange sun and climbed to the top of the old tree again. When kyto got to the top of the tree he found a thick branch that he could lay down on.

"Hey dad theres something ive been meaning to tell you." Kyto looked into his dads eyes with embarrassment. "I'm an outlander and my great grandfather is scar, my great grandmother is Sarafina."

Ma-akua looked at Maiasha then at Kyto, "it's ok I am too sort of." He turned to look down at Maisha then to the glistening watering hole, "what about you?" He asked curiously his tail flicking.

While Akua and Maisha were ocuppied talking Kyto was sneaking the top of Pride Rock. When the young blonde cub got to the top of Pride Rock he saw the beautiful princess. The pricess had a golden coat and light blue eyes that gleamed in to sunlight.

The princess asked Kyto "Who are you; and what are you doing up here?" Kyto respawnded with a sigh "uh umm; i dont really know where im from and i climbed up here because i wanna lay in the heat of the sun."

The princess looked at Kyto and asked "Do you wanna come inside the cave?" Kyto gasped back "Really i can go in there; sure?!"



So Kyto walked inside the cold cave and tripped on his tail and fell on top of a lioness.

The lioness yelled "Hey whats the big idea!" Kyto couldnt talk in words "uh umm"

Kyto ran out of the cave, past the water hole, and into the canyon; screaming all the way there.

Bella glared after the cub then sighed in guilt, quickly she raced down pride rock toward the watering hole the cub in her view, when Bella arrived she was panting and looking around for the cub, finally she spotted him, padding over she sighed, "I'm sorry, I'm Bella by the way, Princess Bella, you are?" She asked licking her silky fur.

When Kyto got to the canyon he was panting.When kyto was done panting he noticed the the princess had followed him to the canyon. "Oh hi princess my name is Kyto, and no im sorry im the one who fell on one of the lionesses." Kyto looked at Bella and asked shyly "I was wondering back at pride rock wanna play a game?" With that said Kyto walked a little closer towards Bella and waved his tail.

Bella thought for a moment, "sure. What do you wanna play Kyto?" She asked her golden fur glistening making it look like she had an aura around her. Bella looked up and saw large lion and a large lioness, "are they your mother and father?" She asked politly, Ma-akua perked his ears up then laughed softly, "no we aren't I am his adoptive father though." He said gently.
"Oh." She said flushing a little at her mistake, turning she faced Kyto then padded to his side growling playful at him. Pouncing she pinned him to the ground, she smirked then stuck her tongue out at him.

After Bella pounced on top of me;I growled at Bella "eh get off of me?!"

Then right after Kyto growled than i tried to Pin Bella, but bella shifted her wait and i missed. When I looked up at Bella her beautiful golden coat was shining in the sun light so i smiled.

"hey i gotta talk to my dad really quick ok Bella?" Kyto yelled up to the top of the rickid canyon "Hey dad can i stay here a little longer?!"

(OOC: Kyto you switched between first and third person in that last post. Try to stick to either writing as if you are Kyto or writing as if you are seeing Kyto do this. Good job though keep going. I'll jump in again seeing as Dakota is being quiet . Also I'm making up a character, see if you can guess what movie her name is from. )

Inez slowly walked out of the den and watched as her daughter ran off after a lion cub. She sighed and glared at the lioness who had scared him. She slowly walked up to her husband and licked him watching her daughter run.

"I'm going after her" She told him and ran not waiting for an answer. Everybody could tell when she was in a rush to catch up with her daughter as they had seen her do this many times. As the Queen of the pridelands she ran after her daughter Bella a lot. She was a cub that was far too friendly. Suddenly she skidded to a halt as she saw Akua watching her daughter and the new lion cub. She barely noticed the lioness near him but roared in anger. She leaped on him and snarled into his face.

"Why are you watching my daughter Akua? You were banished! Leave Bella alone!" Inez roared angrily thinking he was waiting to kill her.

"Sure son." He replied, next thing he knew he was being pinned to the ground by the queen, "Hey! Hey! Hey!" I'm only keeping an eye that she and my son are safe I'm not doing any harm! I would NEVER do anything like that to anyone especially a cub. Please let me up." He said politely paying the queen respect.

"Mum!" Bella cried, "leave him alone he's not doing anything!" She padded past Kyto accidently brushing her tail under his chin, "come on Kyto. We need to help your dad!" She ran toward her mother, "Mum!" She cried, "Let go of him please! I was only making friends, she looked up at her mum then said quietly to her, "maybe even finding someone to be king with me when I'm the queen." She smiled at Kyto then looked away her blues eyes glistening.

Inez looked up when she heard her daughter shout for her to stop. She listened to Akua speak to her. Then her daughter tell her he was doing no harm. Reluctantly she moved off of Akua and sat beside him waiting for him to get up. She turned to Bella realising what she had said.

"Bella, I was only looking out for you. I'm your mother I wasn't about to let my baby get killed by this... outcast! As for you young cub. Who exactly are you?" She asked him smiling at her daughter as she realised he was a potential King. Remembering Akua she sat in front of the cubs.

"Don't think I'll trust you that easily Akua" She growled not swayed by his words. As far as she knew this lion was a killer. "My trust goes to those who earn it, not who my over the top trusting daughter supports!" She said warningly. Her unusual brown fur colour was light in the sun. Her blue eyes resembling Bella's watched him carefully. She watched him over her shoulder and waited for the cubs reply.

Kyto sneezed from the tickle of Bella's fur wave in his face "Oh my name is Kyto im sorry if i caused something back at the cave?" Kyto bowed his head to queen Inez. Kyto noticed Bella smiling at him and asked Bella "Hey Bella wanna see something really cool i know this really fun place?"

Bella turned to Kyto, "where is it?" She asked curiously. Ma-akua perked his head as he heard Kyto and Bella talking, "alright you two I think it will be best if either me or the queen goes along. You know just in case." Bella smirked at these words just like what a King many years ago did. "I think it will be ok, mother, Akua." Akua frowned at these words, "fine go ahead." but if Kyto is plannning on taking her where I think he's taking her I'll follow them close behind. They won't know I'm there protecting them. He thought to himself. He watched Bella as she ran off, since Kyto was nearly out of earshot he turned to the queen and whispered in her ear, "Lets follow them."

Swiftly and silently he climbed up a tree and looked around for another close by one. Cautiously he jumped to that tree as if he was on stepping stones.

"Ok Bella heres the plan were gonna go to this beautiful place, but were gonna have to cut through the desert is that ok?" Kyto was running right along side with Bella. The desert was pretty hot and i could see a few vultures flying over carcasses."Bella were almost at the spot i wanna take you just a little bit further." Kyto was smiling so much he loved going to the forest.

"Bella were here." Kyto moved a big leaf that acted like a window to show her the forest. Kyto ran directly towards the lake to jump in the water." Come on Bella the waters really fun." When Kyto got out of the water his blonde coat was soaked. At this point when he looked at Bella she was more beautiful then ever.

Bella gasped, "it's beautiful." She looked around then giggled as a soaking wet Kyto walked up to her. Blinking she watched the perfect sky around her, turning back to Kyto she realised butterflies had surrounded her. She stood up then pushed Kyto in the water giggling. Within seconds she was by his side her fur dripping wet.

Ma-akua ran across the desert then skid to halt behind the large leaf, cautiously he poked his nose through the large leaf and lay low watching the two cubs play silently, he smiled at them as they giggled. They look so sweet together he thought grinning. After watching them for a while he placed his head on his paws to relax and watch them for as long as he had too.

Inez frowned at Akua. She followed him cautiously. When he hid behind a large leaf she stayed up in the tree clutching it. She leaped out of it and landed gracefully by his side. Watching him relax she followed his lead and lay down for a short nap. However she didn't go to sleep.

"I don't know why I followed you Akua. I should've stayed at priderock. What am I getting myself into?" She sighed as she frowned slightly at him.

"Pull anything and you'll be dead before you can blink!" She threatened angrily. She watched Bella smiling then looked up. She noticed a vulture swooping over the cubs. Without explaining to Akua she scaled the tree and got to the top of the tree then saw it up close as it flew just below her.

"Harvey!" She snarled. As the vulture was about to swoop for the cubs Inez cried out.

"Bella! Kyto! Hide!" She called loudly and leaped on the vulture her weight was too much and her teeth digging into it's claws sent them spiraling to earth. Letting it go with a shout she dug her claws into the tree to save herself. It swooped for the cubs again and Inez snarled.

"Not my cub!" She cried and leaped again. The vulture died in her teeth this time. However she was too far from the tree and slowly began to hurtle to the ground. Her only hope was Akua but she doubted he would help her!

Right when Kyto heard the queen yell "Harvey!" a vine fell from a tree still one end attached to the other part of a tree. Kyto yelled to queen Inez "Grab the vine!" When Queen Inez was safe on the ground asked the queen "Are you ok; What were you doing up there?" After Kyto said that without getting a response he swam through the lake and climbed up one of the trees.


"Why doesn't anyone ever trust me all i wanted was to come somewhere peaceful and they still don't trust me!"

Akua jumped under Inez quickly again, his paws gave way slightly but he still held himself high, when Inez was safely on his back he gently let her down to the ground he looked up at Bella and Kyto as they approached the two adults, Bella in the lead, "mum!" She cried running toward her mother, nuzzling her she looked up at Akua then to Kyto, "thanks you two." She said with a weak smile, "mum? If you can stand lets go home." She started walking toward Pride rock, "see you tomorrow Kyto, Akua." She said politly, "bye Bella." Akua replied his voice weak with relief that everyone was safe.

Inez smiled at Bella's nuzzle and picked up the vulture with her teeth.

"Thanks Akua, you too Kyto. I'll speak to my husband and see if he can change the order" She smiled and gave each of them a quick nuzzle. Quickly she abandoned the vulture and raced back to priderock carrying her daughter. The second they got there her husband's voice called her and Bella. She hid Bella in the cave and went to her husband.

"Yes?" She asked and he struck her. Inez fell to her feet and growled with anger.

"Stay away from Akua!" He growled. Inez roared and pounced for him pinning him instantly.

"You can't do that to me!" She snarled into his face. Quickly forgetting herself she got off of him and ran into the cave to grab Bella.

"Bella we're going" She said simply quickly she nudged her sister Asha.

"Asha you are now the Queen" She said hurriedly. Had she ever loved that monstrous lion? Quickly she grabbed Bella and raced away from priderock. Leaving her sister at her husband's mercy. Quickly she spotted Akua and Kyto.

"Hey you two! Wait!" She yelled out at them and caught up to them quickly panting she placed Bella on the ground,

"My husband abused me. He is abusive and always angry! We need to travel with you. I am afraid he may kill Bella!" She said to them holding back tears of sadness.

"We'll stay with you...I am no longer the Queen and this Inez, who doesn't believe the King, trusts you!" She said to Akua.

Kyto was walking with his dad in the distance when him and his dad heard Inez yelling for them. The next thing he knew Inez and Bella were gonna travel with them. "Bella are you ok?" Kyto's face was blank and he didn't know what to think. "So Bella are you kinda sad not being the princess anymore?" Kyto whispered to Bella.

Kyto went to his dads side and asked him "Does this mean their outcasts too?" Kyto had no idea what to say so he made his way toward Bella again and stayed right by her side for the rest of the walk.

Akua started at the call of his name, it was Inez! "My husband abused me. He is abusive and always angry! We need to travel with you. I am afraid he may kill Bella!" There was a small pause, then Inez said, "We'll stay with you...I am no longer the Queen and this Inez, who doesn't believe the King, trusts you!" He turned to his feet were Kyto stood, "Does this mean their outcasts too?" Akua sighed, "yes." He looked up at Inez, "We'll start a new pride you can be queen and find a king. That way Bella can be princess and..." he dropped his voice, "both Kyto and Bella have a thing for each other, if they were older they could be mates."

Bella watched in horror as her father struck her mothe, "MUM!" Bella cried in shock, she whimpered as she saw her dads eyes flash from her mother to her. Next thing she knew her mother was running, running toward two retreating figures, Ma-akua and Kyto, she felt her mother skid to a halt.

Bella grinned at the sight of her best friend, when her mum but her down she ran to his side. "Bella are you ok?" She nodded mutely at these words, "So Bella are you kinda sad not being the princess anymore?" Kyto whispered, she shrugged then burst into tears her head on Kyto's shoulder. "I hate my dad." She whimpered shaking with fresh tears, "I hate my life!"

Without warning she ran off, she let her feet lead her she knew where she wanted to go that beautiful place that Kyto had shown her earlier that day.

Inez smiled weakly and panted as she realised they were safe. She quickly checked Bella was ok . She smiled gratefully as Akua nuzzled her and asked if they were ok. She nodded and smiled at him. At the suggestion of a new pride she froze. She stared at Akua.

"We could... I don't really need to be Queen. We could wait till Bella and Kyto grow and then" Here she dropped her voice "They could be King and Queen we could try and get other members for a pride" She said smiling.

"Oh and Akua. We should move off quickly if the King sees us he could kill you. That was why he struck me because I went with you. He's always on edge. I've dealt with the abuse before but it was just too much so he went over the top." Inez said hoping he didn't blame himself. Suddenly Bella started crying with her head on Kyto's shoulder. She said that she hated her dad and her life.

"Bella sweetie don't cry. It's ok we're safe now. I'm fine it could have been worse if we'd stayed" She assured her but Bella ran off crying. She looked at Kyto and Akua she sighed with sadness watching her run.

"Leave her. It's been a big day for her. She never saw what happened between us before. She's probably in shock. I'm sure she's headed to where you showed her a while ago Kyto. We'll head there but give her some space" Inez said as they slowly began to follow Bella. Now she wasn't concerned with protecting Bella the realisation hit her of what had happened. She walked on shaky legs and finally broke down. She started sobbing and sat down shaking with shock and horror.

Kyto tried to comfort Bella but, she ran off crying. "Hey wait a minute what do you mean Bella and me will be queen and king together?" Kyto started to cry because now he thought bella hated him. "Dad should we go find Bella?"

Kyto started padding his way towards the outlands sobbing. "Maybe if I find my real dad he'll know what to do?" Kyto said to himself. Kyto started sprinting towards the outlands he triped a few times in the mud so his blonde fur looked brown. Kyto could here his dad yelling for him, but he just kept running.

At the last second Kyto changed paths for the forest he had shown Bella earlier that day. Kyto did't care that he was dirty he just knew that Bella was sad and he wanted to cheer her up. Kyto did't know how to cheer her up but he did't care he'd find a way.

When Kyto got into the forest a boar charged at his side. the tusk from the boar put a deep cut on his nose. At that second Kyto ran up a tree sobbing and scared.
