Brown paws slammed down onto the grass as the young cub ran. He panted heavily and looked behind him, then to the side and then to the other. “LORN!” He yelled out as he skidded to a halt.
The young cubs name was Kondo and he had lost his friend. They had walked together as always then suddenly Kondo had wandered away. He just felt tired so he wanted to nap. However when he turned round to call for Lorn the lion was gone.
He sat down and panted. The running was very tiring. All he wanted was to find Lorn. He didn’t dare teleport in-case of ending up in the wrong place. He didn’t know where Lorn was anyway.
“Somebody...help me!” He called out as he leaped up onto a rock. This made him more visible amongst the grass. “I can’t find my friend!” Kondo’s heart thudded at the thought of not seeing Lorn again. He had to help him with his quest. He had to get their mothers back! “Somebody...please.” He called again. (OOC: Ok we're officially up and running! Let the RP begin!)

Now where did that little lion run off to? A thought which had crossed Lorn's mind several times since he had begun searching for his traveling partner and self-proclaimed 'little brother', Kondo. He wasn't that worried yet as this has happened several times before, but he had to admit that it was taking a tad too long to find the cub this time around. He couldn't have been... no, of course not, he had to stay optimistic.
By using Beleor's Eye he observed the area several kilometers ahead in detail, sadly to no avail. He struck the ground with his black paws in frustration, accompanied by a short annoyed growl.
"Ya lost the kid again, didn't ye?" an all too familiar voice resonated through his mind, causing Lorn to snap into attention.
"Not now Beleor," he replied mentally, "you know we had a deal."
"Yeah yeah, 'no talking as long as the kid is with us'..." the ancient spirit recited word for word, it had heard this hundreds of times, "but the little bugger ain't with us, now is he?"
If Beleor had a mouth, he would grin, Lorn figured. Nevertheless, even beings of pure evil could grow tired of wild goose chases.
"Alas, I be bored. You'll find the kid sitting on a rock right behind that small hill to the east. Now off with ye!"
Lorn thanked his mentor, but was only met with silence. Shrugging it off, Lorn let out a roar to signal Kondo that he had to remain where he was. They had done this before, so the marked cub should be able to recognize it. He then sprinted over the hill while hoping for the best.

a lion began to wake up.He was free finally free. "yes"he giggled"yes"he chuckled "am free!"he roared out load so that Evey animal on the savanna could hear him.
"no more chains or testing on me no more needles or geting shot at for me am free whoaho!"he screamed ]"just rember what your mission is Neo"a small voice echoed inside his head.
"yeah yeah see any humans kill them kill them all"he started roaring and herd another roar from another lion.
"all my another lion free I'll have to greet him as well" he runs into the lions way crashing into him. grasping his head he gets up "ohhh hello" he gets into a pouncing stance. "wanna fight" Neo did not do this because he wanted to kill the other lion it was simply because he was captured and brought to the facility when he was a cub.So he didn't really know about adult life.

Makena was just happily strolling through the open field, just another regular day; out to get some sunshine and exercise. She breathed in the fresh air with her nose, her nose was all too sensitive; it had picked up a scent of a cub not too far from here. hmmmm........that's odd......the scent is but one cub....no adults looking after it? She thought to herself a little confused. Better go investigate! She thought cheerfully, something different today; maybe this is the beginning of an exciting new adventure. She ran towards the direction of the scent, she stopped and sniffed to make sure she was on the right track; before she knew it she saw a little cub standing on a rock, seemingly lost. I'm sure he's a kind little cub, there shouldn't be any reason to fear him or make him scared; I will have to try to be gentle.... She thought and approached the little cub slowly as to not frighten the little one. "Hey little one, are you lost?" Makena said with a concern but soft tone, she smiled at the little cub.

The wind buzzed in his ears as Lorn rapidly closed the distance between him and Kondo. He had to get there fast, he didn't know why, but he just had to. All his life the auburn maned lion has had this certain hunch warning him for trouble. Some would call it instinct, Lorn preferred to dub it his personal 'sixth sense', and it was playing up badly. Something wrong was afoot, but he couldn't quite put his claw on it. Increasing his pace, Lorn didn't realize that another lion was waiting for him just over the hill, who he promptly crashed into.
"OOMPF!" was all he could utter as the collision knocked the air out of his lungs.
The other lion recovered faster than he did, immediately fell into a playful pouncing stance, almost like a cub would, and challenged him to a fight. Lorn snarled, revealing his fangs, until he realized that the lion hadn't challenged him for territory or honour, the stranger apparantly just wanted to play. In more peaceful times Lorn would have let out a chuckle and accept the invitation, but he was in a hurry.
"My apologies stranger, but I'm currently looking for a lost friend," he began, "perhaps we can duel another time."
With that he gave a court nod before dashing off again. Kondo now was well within his sights...
...with another lioness?
Friend or foe? Innocent or dangerous? Lorn had no time to ponder about these questions. Instead he leaped the last few meters and slid to a halt, his claws leaving deep gashes in the soil. His right paw suddenly crackled with a fiery red energy as he held it protectively in front of Kondo. He was ready to kill if he had to.
"Get away from him!"

Kondo smiled as he heard Lorn roar. He sat down and faced the front, stiff as he could be. Now he was safe.
However Kondo's happy world came to a sharp halt as a lioness approached. Now, Kondo may have been aware of the world. He may have begun to take part in a dangerous quest. Yet somehow nobody had managed to teach him that not all lionesses were loving mothers. So instead of protecting himself Kondo smiled.
"Yes I was but I heard the person I lost. He'll be here soon." Kondo said, still grinning at her. "Maybe you can stay awhile and play with us!" He said with a smile. Lorn was a good companion but no male had ever been as loving as his mother.
Then, Lorn was in front of him. The aggressive tone in his voice and the way his "paw power" as Kondo called it, kicked in startled the cub. It took him a moment to realize what Lorn had said. He frowned when he realized what Lorn had said.
"Lorn, Lorn she was being nice!" Kondo urged. "She's a nice lioness. Don't hurt her please!" The cub begged. Then, the other lion landed by them. Kondo looked between the three of them and shook his head to clear it.
"He's funny." Kondo stated, staring wide eyed at this lion. "She's nice" He continued, looking at the lioness. This was all he said before he tilted his head to one side quizzically and blinked innocently at all of them. His tail flicked about behind him.

Makena was startled by the sudden outburst of the adult male lion that just jumped out from nowhere, "Oh! Ummm......no it's okay. If it was me with a younger sibling or a cub, I'd be protective too! Attack first, ask questions later, ya know!" She said with a playful tough voice to the cub, trying to make him laugh. She backed away a few steps, until she think they'd feel safe.
She smiled at Kondo, "Is this good enough?!!" She called to the male adult lion with no playfulness in her tone. "You can check me out and test me for being a good lion or a bad one, but I don't want to leave yet; the little cub seems to be fond of me.........I mean....not as much as he is of you.......but I like the little kid........" She said carefully to Lorn and smiled at Kondo.
"Are you guys siblings? You done a great job looking out for him, no sarcasm here! Even when you lost him, the kid was only alone for a short while....." Makena said in a gentle voice and looked at Lorn.

Xanthos lay across the branches, content with his belly full from his last meal.
The remains of a recently killed gazelle lay on the ground below the tree, the bones cleaned white due to the leopard's habit of eating everything put in front of him. It wasn't good to waste.
His silver fur glistened in the dappled sunlight under the acacia's foliage. Xanthos flicked an ear when a fly landed there.
Suddenly, he heard someone speaking. The voice sounded relatively young... Yes, a young male, standing alone and speaking.
Speaking to whom?
Xanthos opened his bloodred eyes, the dilated pupil becoming smaller as the fovea centralis reacted to the sunlight. He yawned, tongue scraping over bloodstained teeth, and his black claws extended like the rest of his muscles and tendons.
He bounded lightly from his position to the ground.
The adolescent seemed to be talking to himself. Or...no, the conversation was... as if it were talking to someone other than himself.
Strange, very strange indeed. However, the leopard had seen many strange things in his life. He himself had the power to control and create great fire. The leopard watched carefully as the adsolescent began walking after some direction from the invisible being it was talking to.
He followed him.
Xanthos followed as the male quickly ran in some direction towards an unknown destination. Perhaps it was curiosity that made the gray leopard do it. Perhaps it was the fact that Xanthos could sense some great potential power coming from this male...
The male came to his destination. Xanthos quickly hid in the shadows, his gray coat allowing him to be unseen. Xanthos preferred things that way. The teen found what he was looking for--a young cub. The red-maned male was also protective...
Xanthos waited and listened for a few moments before he decided to reveal himself. Why...? He didn't know. Perhaps it was because he knew he could easily escape if he wanted. Perhaps, if he played his cards right, he could find out just to whom the lion was talking to...a great being of immense power, perhaps...
"Hello," the panther said smoothly. "I'm sorry, I couldn't help but to notice the situation. Do not worry," he said, directing his attentions to the young male and ignoring the rest, "I am not here to hurt anyone...I was merely...curious..."
The gray leopard let himself smile and kept his distance, waiting for the much younger male's reply.

Tura and Ma-akua walked side by side listening to the many things said about him, recently they had become a couple and were just getting used to letting it out, keeping it to themselves and only telling those who matter. "Tu what do you wanna do?" Ma-akua asked his young mate. "I don't mind Akua, you choose." She said softly. Tura looked up as she heard footsteps as if someone was jumping from a height. Tura raised a paw as her ears perked up. She grinned at Ma-akua playfully before darting towards the sound. Ma-akua followed her silently but jumped and landed agilely in front of her. "Hop on!" He cried. Tura grinned and bounced onto Ma-akua's back. He grinned and began darting after the voice. He slowed to a walk when to animals came into view. A leopard about their age and a younger cub as well. Tura bounced off Ma-akua's back and nuzzled him affectionately. Tura sat down watching the teen and cub curiously. She was watching the adolescent especially, finally another teen at least I can socalise more She thought to herself. Ma-akua padded up behind Tura and licked her. Tura yelped and jumped as Ma-akua startled her.
She then froze waiting for the leopard to turn and snap for "eaves dropping"

Lorn being confused would be an understatement. He could take a lot, but this barrage was quite overwhelming to say in the least. The crimson energy engulfing his paw crackled one last time before dissipating, and the paw soon found itself being firmly planted on the ground where it belonged. Lorn then looked from one face to the other, something he always did before opening his mouth to say something himself.
Kondo's innocense brought a smile to his face. Children were always better at finding out someone's intentions than he was, as he had learned. That aside, the young male cub had this 'aaawww-I-just-can't-say-no-to-that' stare, more commonly known as the imfamous 'puppy dog eyes'. And Lorn indeed couldn't bring himself to go against it.
The lioness was more of a mystery , as her voice and tone sounded genuinly nice, but her gaze was a different matter. His first choice was arrogance, but taking a closer look he realized that it was closer to... satisfaction? Was she seeing him as a challenge?
"If it's a challenge she wants..." he thought, mentally chuckling.
And the last lion, well, wasn't exactly hard to read. He was acting like a buffoon and his taunts were rather juvenile. Perhaps the poor soul had never learned how to act otherwise? Nonetheless, his 'sixth sense' was playing up again, this lion was hiding something. Something bad. He would ask about it later, as soon as he got to know everyone better.
Looking at Kondo again to keep his spirit up, Lorn finally spoke.
"You're right Kondo," he began, and then added with a chuckle: "looks like I couldn't keep my hot head in check again."
He then turned towards the lioness, an apologetic look appearing on his features.
"I'm terribly sorry missy, I can be a little overprotective," he said, the lioness nodded in understanding, "but to answer your question, we're not brothers. We just share... similar experiences."
Lorn sighed, he hated talking about his past, the pain in his heart was unbearable, and deep down he knew Kondo felt the same. It was amazing how well the little fellow could deal with it at such a young age. But enough about it, pondering about such things would only slow them down, they had to stay optimistic!
And thus Lorn thought of a joke about the 'goofy' lion's quirks to avenge the latter's snide remark towards his energy attack. But just as he was about to shoot back so to say, a new character appeared on the scene. It was a leopard, and one of the weirdest he had ever seen. Completely gray, no spots, and bright red eyes. To be fair, he had no right to call anything weird, as he himself looked like he was put together by some mad shaman.
The leopard did sound friendly once he spoke, explaining his sudden intrusion, but the thing that bothered Lorn was the fact that he almost sounded too friendly. Eventually he decided to shrug it off.
"I bid you my greetings, stranger," he greeted, and then began to smile, "I can't blame you for being curious, I did make quite a scene here."
He then realized that he had forgotten something since the beginning of this whole ordeal.
"I think a proper introduction would be in store here, my name is Lorn," he stated, and then gave Kondo a friendly nod, giving the cub the oppertunity to introduce himself to the others personally.

Kondo smiled as Lorn left the lioness alone. She was nice and could of hurt him by now if she'd wanted to.
When the new one appeared Kondo smiled once more. Lots of lions meant more friends, to the little cub anyway. So all these people were fun to have.
When he heard a yelp he spun around to face where it had come from. More people? That's what I get for calling for help I gues... His smile was fading now and he decided to turn back to Lorn again. When his best friend nodded to him Kondo smiled brilliantly before speaking.
"I'm Kondo." He offered them all, now he was bouncing a little with excitement.

Xanthos almost purred at the friendly reply from the male...which, upon closer inspection, seemed to be a full-grown adult. Perhaps it was just the energy that made him think of "Lorn" as a teen...
Maybe this friendship could do him some benefit.
"My name is Xanthos," the leopard said smoothly, doing sort of a half-curtsy. His long tail flicked in interest.
"Kondo, Lorn," said the gray male, nodding his head, all the while sizing Lorn up discreetly. He seemed to be strong... Then Xanthos looked at the little cub, thinking of how he could take advantage of the two lions' relationship to find out just what power Lorn held...
The leopard smiled, white teeth glinting. He made sure the smile reached his eyes.
"You seem to be headed somewhere," he noted. "May I ask what it is you two are trying to do?"

Makena smiled at the Lorn accepting her and came back to join them, all the while was very aware of how many lions have gathered.
Wow!!! Cool! We're so popular, or at least Kondo and Lorn is, that they even attracted a few more lions and a leopard..... She was amused by her own thought.
Then she heard the Leopard speak of his name and smiled with delight at him, even though he wasn't paying attention to her. Her smile disappeared slightly, she looked into the unusual smiled Xanthos was wearing for a short few seconds.
"Hmmph...." She let out a short breath deep in thought, she felt strange about Xanthos; however, she was disrupted.
She lost conscience of her surrounding, not very aware of what the others were up to; it's like Xanthos has triggered the very element that made her different from others.
She felt that Xanthos's curiosity might not just be merely what he led the others to believe, she wasn't certain about anything her abilities tell her though. She decides to take a much softer approach to handling these situations.
"Being curious is good! But remember, curiosity did kill the cat! Don't let it kill you, it's best to be careful!" she said in a calm and playful way, not at all threatening.
She then smiled and looked at Lorn with the corner of her eye as to say in silence, "This is a warning for you too."
"OH! I forgot! My name is Makena!" She said to everyone.

(OOC: Oh my. I am very behind, I had no idea that the rping had started already. I will jump in. :3)
All of her attention was drawn to the little beetle that was darting across the sandy ground. Pure amusement had taken over her mind as she fiddled with the little creature. Each time he thought he had a chance to escape, she would throp her tail right in front of him.
So she might be acting a little cruel, but forgive her. She was still in the younger stages of her life, and she had hardly learned how to hunt for herself. And it really wasn't going to great, telling by her showing ribs.
With a gentle sigh, she gave in, and let the beetle scuttle away from her happily. She smacked her lips and lowered her bodice to the ground, letting her cranium rest against the sand. Her lids closed lazily, wishing sleep would find her weary mind. Just as fatigue had almost claimed her, a ruckus in the distance caused her to jolt awake. Her head spun to observe the small crowd of lions.
The cub in her made her curious, and she pulled her self to a stand, and crept closer. She didn't dare get too close though, just far enough away that any normal lion wouldn't be able to detect her. She plopped her hind down on the warm sand, and watched the scene like it was a movie, while she subconsciously probed their minds, testing their mental strengths.

Nia sprinted quickly through her surroundings, jumping over a rock and landing very ungracefully over the other side. She had heard what sounded like a young cub shout from somewhere in the distance, and she was curious as to what he was shouting at. She slowed to a walk as the floor beneath her paws turned to sand and she neared the group of lions that were now circling the cub.
She was so busy focusing on what was going on in front of her that she didn't even notice the young female lying in the sand, who was also staring intently at the gathering infront of them, and tripped over her. Nia landed with a thump, sending clouds of sand flying up around her. She scrambled to her feet again, blushing.
"Sorry! I'm clumsy like that...my name's Nia"

Xanthos felt immediately irked by this...female. Makena. She seemed to not immediately trust the gray leopard, which could put a damper on his relationship with the powerful lion and his cub.
Suddenly, another lion showed up, which irritated the leopard further. How was he supposed to make a personal relationship with Kondo and Lorn if so many felines were there, too?
And another presence was making itself apparent in his mind. How dare this being invade his thoughts?
Xanthos let out a short growl, his features twisting in annoyance.
"You! I know you're hiding somewhere...Get out of my head!" Xanthos shouted. His mind was personal business, nothing to be seen by strangers. He looked at the others. "Apologies, but I believe there is a hidden visitor among us...can you feel it?"
His crimson eyes darted back and forth, looking for the intruder, while his fur stood up and his muscles grew tense between his shoulder blades.

"You! I know you're hiding somewhere...Get out of my head"
Tura closed her eyes as the leopard shouted again.
"I believe there is a hidden visitor among us...can you feel it?"
Tura glanced at her mate, he didn't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Sighing Tura went to stand up so the leopard could see that she meant no harm. But was knocked down by a new lioness. "Sorry!" The newcomer said to her Tura flicked her tail. "Apology accepted..." "My names Nia The other female said. "Apology accepted Nia." Tura replied. She then turned to the leopard and replied his fury, "It was I, my name is Tura. I was merely a passer by and felt strangely imtimidated by there being so many animals, you see I only travel with my friend Akua and we don't see very many other big cats." Tura nodded and strolled to the leopards side. "I apologise." She said. She looked at the three lions and leopardThe wind blew her gold and ginger fur as she turned to leave. "Akua we need to go north slightly and we will find water and shelter. We best start now." She said gently. Ma-akua nodded and padded silently to Tura.
"With these lot around I'm not taking my eyes off you." He hissed to her. "Akua!" She cried, "Don't say that." She snapped still glaring at him. Together they began the small journey north. "Goodbye everyone." Tura called over her shoulder not wanting to interfere anymore.

(OOC: Ermmmm, Tura_Ma-akua?? I am pretty sure zorayda/Xanthos was referring to my character in their post.... My character was the one poking around in peoples head, and she was the one off laying in the sand. I am going to post a reply to his post... I just wanted to let you know.)
An odd annoyance rippled over the silent bond she had created between all of the other felines. She shivered and jumped back, intending to withdraw her mind from the aggressive leopards. Unfortunately, when she became flustered, she managed to fan her thoughts out without realizing it. With her luck, she projected her thoughts into the leopards mind,
'OH MY! What am I doing?? He could sense me! Oh no no no...' By the time she realized that she had practically screamed in his head, he had already burst, yelling out for her to reveal herself.
Afraid of what might happen if she didn't show herself, she reluctantly crept forward, pulling herself in view of the small gathering. A small whine escaped her throat and she hunched down in submission.
She ducked her head, and her ears layed flat to the sides, "Honestly! I didn't mean to do that... I really apologize." She found herself begging, before she could even collect her thoughts and decide what to do. She could only hope now that they wouldn't see her as a threat. After all she was just a pitiful adolescent who had no earthly idea about what her powers could do.

Makena didn't make a sound and just observed as Xanthos ordered another lioness out of the woods, she tilt her head in curiosity like a little cub would.
Does she feel threaten by us? She thought to herself, oblivious of what might be going through the lioness head.
The lioness seemed more sincere than Xanthos had, but she wasn't sure; she just didn't trust Xanthos one bit and she could tell that Xanthos noticed by the way he acted after her response.
I should be twice as careful of what I say from now on, he seems ready to tear someone to shreds if he needed to.....he has got quite a temper......what have I gotten myself into? Makena thought with a hint of worry.
She sighed and wouldn't let herself think too much about it, it's out of her hands for now. She focused on the lioness and continue her silence observation and study, she let her face seem calm and at peace.

Xanthos' ears turned forward at the mind-lurker's apology. It was a young lioness who had apparently been cautiously hiding away in the sand.
"Hmph. It's okay, I guess," Xanthos said gruffly, not wanting to show that he felt slightly guilty for his outburst. He did rather overreact.
He let his body relax as the lioness cowered down onto the ground. Such a young, shy thing. Xanthos almost chuckled, but held it back behind a tight smile.

A relaxed sigh coursed through her throat. Okay... I don't think they will hurt me. While her mind was screaming at her to stay on her guard, her cub like curiosity gnawed at her insides. She glanced up, gazing at the larger feline for a moment, and then slinked back a few steps, letting the others into her view.
Why are they all over here....? It is rather odd... She pondered to her self, using a great deal of her effort to keep her thoughts to herself this time. She continued to stare at them all for a moment longer, her pelt prickling with the awkward silence. At first she thought she should introduce herself, but she quickly decided that she probably didn't belong here. Her stomach growled, reinforcing her assumption, and she spun around, shuffling her feet in the opposite direction, hoping to find some sort of prey for herself.

Kondo yawned. The little lion has been napping on Lorn's back for a while every day since they had met. However he couldn't sleep now. There were too many new people to meet. But...
"Lorn...We should keep look- oops!" He looked about to make sure nobody was staring at him curiously. He shouldn't have said that...A glint of mischeif came into his eyes, maybe he should have. He remembered the panther asking a question and he grinned.
"Yep. We're on a quest! So like I was saying, maybe we better get going. I just hope we find a safe place to rest and eat tonight." He exclaimed loudly. His eyes were silently pleading some to come along. He liked talking to Lorn non-stop but he also liked company. Plus, the lioness he had just seen seemed to be better company than his mother. She could speak for one thing.
"Of course, I'd love to speak to you all some more!"

Makena was very fond of the young cub, she was hoping that she can have a little bit more time to know the little guy. she wanted so much to help Kondo and Lorn out with whatever journey they are on. As Kondo was standing there, Makena saw a immediate danger that can land Kondo in a very sticky situation. Even though she didn't know if it was for sure going to happen, she thought it'd be better to act quickly even if there wasn't any danger coming.
"WATCH OUT!!" Makena yelled to Kondo and grabbed him by the soft skin on top of his neck, she then leaped out of the way. A few dozen antelopes stampede their way through right where Kondo was.
She immediately put Kondo down by Lorn's side, "That was a close call!" Makena said and it was also one time her vision happened the way it told her. "Are you okay, Kondo?" Makena said and looked at him.

How had it come to this? They had been alone for weeks, why did they suddenly meet so many beings within less than an hour? Coincidence? Or fate?
Lorn had no answer. Rather obvious as he wouldn't ask himself so many questions otherwise. An annoyed frown appeared on his features as he could have sworn that he heard Beleor chuckling somewhere deep down in the abyss of his subconciousness. Normally he would have yelled for the spirit to cut it out, but that would have looked rather silly in the current situation. Thus he decided to ignore it.
A nail sprung from his right paw, which he promptly used to scratch his hairy chin with while submerged in an ocean of thought. Decisions had to be made, and quickly too, as his instincts told him that they were being watched and followed. These instincts had never failed him before, so there was no reason to start doubting them now.
"You seem to be headed somewhere," the leopard spoke, making Lorn realize that time didn't stop during brainstorm sessions, "May I ask what it is you two are trying to do?"
Lorn stared the leopard in the eyes for a moment, an answer had to be chosed carefully here in order to avoid raising suspicion any further. Before his mind could come up with anything useful, new lionesses had appeared on the scene, gaining the leopard's attention as they did.
"Good, that should keep him off my back for a while..." he thought with a sigh of relief.
The problem was that the group had increased in size even more, just great. How could any possible enemy not notice them right now? At least their secret was safe for the time being.
"Lorn...We should keep look- oops!"
What?
"Yep. We're on a quest! So like I was saying, maybe we better get going. I just hope we find a safe place to rest and eat tonight."
At that point Lorn mentally and physically facepalmed.
His gaze, which could drill holes at the moment, met Kondo's, making the cub know that he did something wrong. And yet, he couldn't blame the little fellow, as he knew very well how his own juvenile exitement had gotten him into trouble multiple times. Not to mention that his young friend did have a point, they had to get moving.
A sudden shout of warning made his ears perk as he anxiously searched for what caused it. What he found made his mane stand on end, an entire herd of antelopes stampeding it's way to the spot Kondo was resting on! Before he could react, a brown flash shot by him, carrying Kondo away from certain death. It was the lioness Makena, who he was now forever grateful.
Without a second though he rushed for the shocked but otherwise fine Kondo, hoping for his life that nothing was wrong.
"Kondo! Are you alright little buddy?"
(OoC: Is it okay like this? Did I accidentally leave anything out?)

Xanthos' ears went forward when the sound of thundering hooves reached his sensitive ears. As he opened his mouth to tell everyone to move, the herd crashed by, deafening him.
The cub was entirely too close to the herd that was stampeding by! But as soon as this thought entered his mind, Makena had swiftly snatched the cub and swung him out of the way.
Good, the cubs's safe. Hmm....I'm hungry.
Taking advantage of the gazelles' appearance, Xanthos leapt, his wiry muscles standing out on his body, and gracefully pounced upon the hindquarters of one of the bigger gazelles. It put up a bit of a fight, but the killer leopard was far too experienced to let this young buck get the better of him.
The gray leopard used the gazelle's hind legs as holds for his own back feet, and he leapt again, this time landing directly onto the gazelle's back. The hooved beast's eyes rolled back in fright and panic, but Xanthos mercifully ended its fright by clamping down on the back of its thin neck with his powerful jaws and twisted, instantly killing it.
The silver leopard pranced away from the beast as it collapsed to the ground. He picked it up by the neck and began to drag it towards the other lions, seeing as the hunt had taken him about fifty feet away from them.
Xanthos dropped it onto the ground in front of them and placed a paw on it.
"Have any of you ever tried cooked gazelle before?" Without waiting for an answer, the leopard allowed a carefully measured amount of his fire to spring forth through the paw on the gazelle. Within seconds, it was toasted all the way through.
He took a large piece of shoulder meat for himself and sectioned off a bit of the hindquarter for Kondo. He patted the cub on the head.
"Glad you're okay, kid." He left the rest to the others and plopped down to eat his share.

Tura sat down by the water her golden fur lighter in the warm sun. Ma-akua watched his mate before padding over to her, He rested his cheek on her head and rubbed her fur. Tura looked up at Ma-akua his fur was a deep blue. "Are you ok?" Tura whispered. Ma-akua nodded silently before going and lapping up some cold water. As the two began drinking Tura perked up andlistened carefully. "There's movement. We need to move in a bit." She said softly. Ma-akua just nodded.

((OOC: Behold my return from the depths! ;D oh and by the way -hugs Misty's avatar- brilliant episode ))
Kondo reacted as fast as any young cub would, not fast enough. For a few seconds he felt almost blind with fear. He was barely aware of Makena saving him, only of a massive herd rushing toward him. He shook his head slowly and let out a belated scream. "Th-thank you" He stuttered to Makena, looking at his paws as if he expected them to be gone. He smiled reassuringly at everyone who had shown some concern.
He grinned as Xanthos dropped some food and immediately dug in. Kondo loved eating and he was hungry. Within seconda a familiar looking Kondo was pouncing on some grass. He made it grow gently between his paws.
"Cooked meat tasted strange but it was nice" He said to Xanthos, giggling as some grass blew toward the strange creature. "Cool ability, but, can ya do this?" The little cub asked.
He focussed his whole mind on a spot a little way in front of him. Kondo dissapeared from the one spot, leaving gold sparkles behind, then reapeared at the spot he had been focussing on. Kondo laughed proud of himself before returning to Lorn.
Something tells me that this group would be cool to go on the Quest with...It's a big super special secret though and I'd better not invite them.

Koza padded along the savannah plains; tired, exaugsted and hungry. He hadnt eat'n since he had left his pride which had been about 3 days ago. Then Koza spotted a young cub (Kondo). Koza growled silently and pinned Kondo to the ground with all his force. Koza's fur was scrappy and muddy from the past few days. "Hold still, This will only take a second you rotten runt!" Koza snarled in his face digging some his claws into his legs.

Makena smiled at response to Kondo's gratitude, "You're a sweet little kid, I was glad to help you!"
"MMmmm.....food! All that got me starving to death..." When she was about to go get some food, she felt something.
There were two things that got her very angered, a mysterious lion that have probably caused the stampede. A white ghost like lion is seen in her vision on top of a steep hill; while below him, a stampede is coming towards the direction in which he was facing.
Right after the other vision, a lion jumped out from nowhere and pined Kondo down.
Since she didn't know if the vision would come true or not, she would take care of what's angering her here and now.
She ran towards the unknown lion, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!!" She asked in a angry and blunt tone; there was no reason for the lions hostility towards the young cub, so she was really angered. "Get off of him!" She demanded with a angry tone.
