I would like everyone interested in this RP to read through this before signing up or committing themself. Since this RP has the posibility of becoming controversial in a bad way, I would like to set the record straight on a few things. Everyone should agree to these terms before entering the RP.
1) Everything that occurs in this RP should be considered fictional. This story in no way should be considered a true discussion among members. It is like any other roleplay in this way.
2) The story should not be used as a device to convert other RPers. Religion can be a very sensitive topic. Some members are more opinionated in the ways of religion than others, but no matter your standpoint, no one should join this RP if they have the soul intention of changing the minds of those they disagree with.
3) Since members will be playing characters of all different standpoints, it should not be assumed that the beliefs of the character are those of its RPer. If you would like to play a character that represents your opinions, that is fine. If you would like to do the opposite, that is fine, too. Do not think that your own standpoint affects the kind of character you are allowed to play, and do not assume anything of the other members' beliefs according to their characters'.
4) As a result of things that happen in the story or anywhere else, under no circumstances should a writer insult another writer's intellect or judgement based on their or their character's religious beliefs. This will not be tolerated, and I and the mods reserve the right to ban you from the RP if you take thigns too seriously and abuse your privelidge of being involved in this story. Remember the basic rules of the sight that others should not be insulted.
5) Any serious religious discussion outside of the story should not take place in this board. This board is strictly for story development and story telling. I am all for religious discussion, but I will not encourage it to take place here, because it will be considered off topic.
6) If you feel you are being personally insulted via something that occured in the RP or in its development, pleace contact me. I will speak privately with you, a mod or admin, and the person you think is causing the problem. Please do not raise conflicts within the story or its development threads. We will try to keep these issues private so they don't shake things up among members who are not involved.
7) If the members of this RP fail to cooperate or allow several conflicts to errupt, the story will not continue. I don't want any friction to pop up and spread throughout the site due to anything that happens in this story.
Remember, this is none other than a roleplay, no different than any other. But because of the subject, I want to make these things clear, and I would like for you to agree to them if you wish to join. I do not doubt the sensibility of my fellow memebers, but these things need to be put out there jsut in case. If anything is left to be said and I haven't thought of it, please do bring it up below.
