Character sign up

Alright, I'd like to join this here RP. one problem, I read the most recent page and I still can't figure out who is who. XD

If someone could fill me in on what's happening, and tell me about the inactive characters, (I'm assuming I should play as one of them, If not, I can sign someone up.) that would be exelent.

You don't need to play one of the inactive characters. Since they're other people's characters, you probably shouldn't unless you get their permission. If you really want to, you can ask them, but most of the people with inactive characters are no longer active at all, so they will be hard to reach. I would suggest just creating your own or using one you already have.

Basically Zulu (a king cheetah), Dhakiya (ethiopian wolf), Kye (fennec fox), Isha (fennec), and Zorayda's carachter I can't remember the name of, who is a lynxish thing, came together because of the huge flood and constant rains in Kingwa valley. They decided to follow Zulu, who knows of a higher, drier place to the south, where they would be able to survive better. Jiro, an ethiopian wolf, is following them from a great distance, and they don't know of his presence.

The plot isn't very in depth yet. Pretty good time to join ^_^

Ok, the character I want to use is in the TLK/original section. Do I need to make a new character here?

Well, I'm not totally sure. I never even ralized you could sign up characters there. I'm not a Mod, but I don't think it would make a big difference. Your character is signed up, and it complies to the rules in this section, so I see see why you couldn't RP him.

But you might want to ask a mod before you sign it up in here. I don't want to go above and beyond my rank ^_^

Hey, it's safila your mod..

You need to sign your character up in the sign up your character section for these roleplays, which is the original characters section., then once its been approved for 'The Flood' roleplay you can start posting.

Alright, I signed Reagen up for the original section. So now, I can join the RP. I've also changed the discription of his personality for both sections, as I feel the discription I gave wasn't quite what I had ment it to be.

Well the RP isn't full, so there's no need to put *Vacancies* by the title. Mods only do that when the RP was previously chock full of people, and this one hasn't been, at least for a very long time.

Besides, we have enough characters to carry on a good RP. I don't think the number as it stands is a problem.

You need to create a character that you want to join and put it in the character sign up thread, then post here to apply for that character to join the RP. Confusing I knowXD I made a similar mistake when I first started.

If I were you I would look around for more active RPs though. Unfortunately, the floodwaters here have been stagnant and I'm not sure if the members are interested in continuing it. Current active ones are Wanderers and Last King. TLKIV might pick up again too. There may be others I'm not involved in.

The RPs' activity kind of rise and fall (like the sun... Ehm *cough*) a lot and I wouldn't say that The Flood is dead, so if you want to sign up, Nailyila, feel free to do so. Most of the time it only takes two or three members to post in the RP to draw back its players :3

And Cheezeegriff seems to have answered your question too =P Our forum system may seem confusing at the beginning, but it works once you get used to it ^^
