"Oh hello Arlo~" She purrs. "Is this your girlfriend?~" she asks, looking at Ara. "I must say, she is a bad choice. Shes such a freak, look at all those horrible colours!" She says, as Ara looks sad and ashamed. She crept up to Arlo, and licked his cheek. "Come on Arlo, you know I can do better than Ara"

"Get away from me!" He says scratching her face. "You are nothing compared to Ara, you are dirt compared to her. Ara is more beautiful then a midnight star, you are NOTHING." He snarls. "NEVER COME NEAR ME, EVER."

He pounes on her, this time biting her neck. His jaws lock holding her under his control "you will never deserve a mate, you don't even deserve friends, you freak." He whispers in her ear in a harsh voice. "You will die alone in a cave." He loosens his grip on her throat and standes in his defensive possition infront of Ara. He stares at the bleeding lioness, waiting to see if she will flee.

"Did you really just expect me to leave, just because of a few scratches and insults?" She let out a cruel laugh. Ara snarldd, standing up slowly and silently, before dragging Meupi down to the floor, growling. "You better leave. Now. " she hisses in Meupis face. Meupi, stands up rolling her dull green eyes. "Im going to be back soon Ara.. Specifically speaking if you have a famiky, you better keep them safe." Meupi whispers to Ara. " goodbye." Meupi says, bounding away, leaving a shocked and stunned Ara behind.

Arlo rushes towards Ara and circles her looking at her dripping wounds. "Ara can you walk?"

"Yeah,I can. Thankyou for being there, if you weren't there, she possibly would've killed me." She says, before taking her paw up to her scratch, and feeling the blood on her paw. "At least it didn't catch my eye." She says, she was still a little shocked at what Meupi said.

Arlo licked her on the cheek, only this time he didn't blush "I will always be here for you." He said meaningfully. Arlo supported Ara and started to walk home.

She offered him a small smile, walking beside him as they reached his home. "Perhaps she will, but Meupi doesn't just give up." She huffs. "Luckily the wounds aren't too bad." She says, in utter releif. "Thank you. " she says to Arlo, grateful for his help.

"Then Meupi better learn how to give up, or else she will end up wounded for life, but that is her choice. You wounds still need tending to and it will be a while before they are completely healed, so until then I will be guarding you." He says like she doesn't have a choice. "You are welcome Ara."

She rolls her eyes. "Arlo, its not serious, just a scratch, its no as if I've broke all my legs." She says, sarcasm dripping from her tone. She huffed. Looking at Arlo in a fed up way. *Now I get some more time with him, but here ushering me around already.* "Im not going there Arlo." She says, stubbornly, sticking to her seat, a look of determination on her face.

"Thank you Ara, it will only be to check if they are infected, I don't want you to be hurt." He lookes distant as if remembering his past. but swiftly snaps out of it and whips the blood from Ara's face and sighs, love struck.

Arlo sunk down and watched as the healer inspected Ara
"She isn't from around here Arlo?!" The healer asked with curiosity
"She is my friend and needs to be checked for infection." Arlo said firmly

She nodded walking beside him, she noticed a storm brewing in the distance. She flicked her ears back at the loud noises. Despite the injury to her face, she pounced on Arlo, pinning him to the floor.
She let Arlo up. "I was the princess of the pride East of here." She says. "They, just seemed to dissapear."

Arlo leads her to a hill, with blossoms and grass floating in mid air, he slumped down and let the wind tussle his growing mane and fur. Arlo sighed and said "this is where I like to come when I feel alone, even if I am not, it is a place of calm and happiness, it is my secret place to come and think of my worries and let them fly away with the wind." He looked up at Ara then at the floor and closed his eyes looking completely at ease.

She was in awe and smiled, as a flower flew past her catching her ear. "Its beautiful." She says, lying down in the grass, closing her eyes in relaxation.

He opened his eyes and looked at Ara as if she was the last flower in a field of destruction, he smiled and sat up. "Ara, you are the most beautiful thing in the world inside and out, without you my world would be nothing. I don't care what you were or are to become, because..." He paused "because... I...I love you."

Arlo blushed but didn't move his gaze from Ara he just gazed at her lovingly and wished she would stay with him for at least a while, but he wasn't going to trap such a beautiful thing, he would only care for her while she wanted him.
