Cecilia cocked her head to one side, "I was going to ask you the same thing. No it's not our lands; we don't know who these lands belong to. If anyone." She said slowly.

The lioness nodded; the younger lioness she was with didn't surprise her with that fact. When she spoke again, Kadija gave Tarajii a curious gaze. She was from a nomadic pride. She never stopped moving. "Oh right" she said, acknowledging the comment. "I couldn't imagine myself on the move all the time". Kadija left it at that. Perhaps, if Tarajii stayed with them, she could find out more, but for now, finding her cousins mattered most. As if by the power of thought, Cheshi came rushing out of the tree's. He caught sight of his cousin and a younger lioness and sprinted towards them. "Kadi! I was beginning to worry" he said with a chuckle, leaning forward to nuzzle her. She returned it, lips curling into a smile. "Sorry Cheshi, I got caught up talking to my new friend here; Tarajii, this is my cousin". The spotted lioness shrugged, "We were too small to effectively claim a territory of our own, so we became nomads." she explained, despite the fact that the adults of her pride was almost entirely composed of females, there were males around but they were too old to stand any chance of defending any large territory. "It's nice, you see new places all the time, though I admit as a cub it was difficult to find friends my own age." her ears flipped backwards slightly, there had been other cubs in her pride but they were all older than her. However as a New scent got entangled With the air around them, Tarajii instinctively tensed up, though she could soon spot the source of the scent. It was running straight towards them, Tarajii backed up a little as the male approached, though as he spoke Kadi's name Tarajii tried to relax; this one was no stranger or well at least not to Kadija. As she was introduced the spotted lioness stumbled in her words before composing herself, "Pleasure." she bowed, to Cheshi, her tail swaying apprensively.

Usiku frowned. Just her luck: they were all going to meet out on the plain. There was no way Usiku was leaving the protection of the trees. Though she knew if she was polite to the lions they would probably not hurt her, she would not put herself at their mercy. She had an idea though: the two she had been shadowing were just now leaving the forest. Snipping off a small twig with her sharp claws, she flicked it downwards towards the gold one with a scraggly mane. Before it hit its mark she leapt from one tree into another, silent as a cat, where the bright sunlight overhead would make her blend in with the branches and the leaves. "Hello travelers," she said, in a voice as smooth as silk.
