Okay so we're re-starting the RP soon.  Here's the character list and who is playing who for refferance while we discuss (save us jumping to and from this thread and the sign up thread). Nala - JessamineDiane Kiara - JessamineDiane Simba - Mizz_Wayland Kovu - Artemys Vitani - Artemys Kopa - Krissi Zira - Mizz_Wayland Kuli - Krissi Edit - Here are the NPCs - Sarabi - lioness in Simba's pride, you all know who she is  Sarafina - ditto Malaika - a goldey-coloured lioness in Simba's pride, a very good hunter Nia - a cream coloured lioness in Simba's pride, sister of Kiume Kiume - a tawny coloured lioness in Simba's pride, sister of Nia Imani - a light browny-grey coloured lioness who used to be an outlander but joined Simba's pride Zuberi - a dark brown coloured rouge lion Sanaa - a grey-coloured lioness in the outlands, refused to join Simba's Pride for unknown reasons, possibly still loyal to Zira and Scar Kula - Krissi's OC. Tojo - Wingu was playing him, now he's an NPC. Ansante - A hyena who is friends with Kopa. Shenzi - A hyena, we all know her. I think we need to discuss a bit more in depth what we want to happen within the story. The three things that are definete are 1. It's set after the events in The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride. 2. Zira is alive and has some sort of evil plot. 3. Kopa returns. This is Jess trying to be all organised. I have my organised hat on. It is very dusty. Now first of all let's discuss Zira and her evil plot. The characters other than Zira don't know what it is, but maybe we should? Mizz_Wayland as you are playing Zira I think you should have overall authority over what the evil plot is, so if someone sugests something and you don't feel it works or fits for whatever reason, just let me know.  Also we need to decide WHY Kopa disapeared. Linda, you can have authority over that decision, but if you want to involve Zira then make sure that's okay with Mizz_Wayland. I'd like it if we could all discuss and share our ideas, but I want everyone to have full control and authority over the characters they are playing, so if you don't like a discussed or sugested idea for your character you don't have to go along with it. I want everyone to be happy and I want this roleplay to be fun for us all. |

That sounds great so far! For my characters, I was wondering how Vitani would feel in the Pridelands. And I think that perhaps, she might find Zira again. After all, she doesn't have a mate in the Pride and if Kovu is busy doing his duties, she might begin to feel left out and question whether it was good for her to have joined them. And I presume the death of one's Mother isn't something you overlook lightly. Perhaps it would be interesting for her to find Zira again, she wouldn't be thrilled to see her again, or at least she wouldn't show that but maybe she would be interested in what Zira has to offer if she doesn't feel in place in the pride. As for Kovu, I'd love to see how he deals with being in the pridelands! I think overall, he would be quite new to how everything is run there and so in that sense quite lost =P Though, I think he'll try and live up to the Pride's expectations and try ever so hard to be a just and strong King as Simba is. Perhaps that leaves room for him making a decision, thinking at the time it is a wise choice but that choice will have bad consequences later on. It could have something to do with Zira or Kopa perhaps? But then again I'm not sure what yet... I'd love to hear what you guys have in mind |

As before, Tojo has returned to the pridelands, nothing much to say about him. But Kopa... I like the thought of him beeing capture by Zira and nobody knowing where his, (in the pridelands) and trained to help zira destroy the pridelanders from inside.

E.g various attempts at hurting pride members but never really being successfull? I like this idea. What if Zira says she is fully reformed (or pretends to have lost her memory liike I think she did last time) and Kopa backs her up because.... well either because he's in on the plan or because he honestly believes her... Anyway so then Simba and the others decide to believe not Zira who they don't trust, but Kopa who they do trust. Kovu and Vitani believe it because they just want to believe it, but maybe Kovu is somewhat aware that it is too good to be true. And Kiara, (because remember, Kopa disapeared before she was born, or when she was a very young cub, so she doesn't remember him) is cynical and does not believe Kopa and Zira and is suspicious of their actions. She could start throwing accusations when pride members get hurt like "It's them! It's Kopa and Zira!" and then she gets in trouble because everyone thinks she's jealous of her brother..... Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh juciy plotline!! XD Simba and Nala trust Kovu because he is their son and they think that he is good like them and how they raised him (for however long that was) would stick with him. They raised him to be good, so if he turns out to be bad that would really shock them. Maybe Kopa just simply believes Zira and overcome with emotion at how their son has returned Simba and Nala belive too. Maybe Zira could save Kopa somehow, and that's what gets him to belive her? What do you guys think? |

Malaika is a more feminine name and Hasimu is more masculine but the others really don't matter

I contacted her via PM, she says she is busy looking for a new job. She said a little while ago that we could start the RP without Kovu and Vitani, or play them ourselves if we needed to (I think she means have them as NPCs). If she doesn't come back in maybe about a week or two I might re-open the roles and put Kovu and Vitani as NPCs temporarily so me, you and Wingu can continue....
