(Kiara sits alone watching a bird fly past and around her whilst Simba has disappeared at the top of Pride rock.

When the bird flies out of sight the scene changes to the outlands where Vitani is tugging on a dead tree root growling. Nuka walks into sight muttering to himself)

Nuka: Kovu, Kovu, Kovu. Scar wasn't even his father he just took him in. (He notices Vitani) Oh hey Vitani, where's the little termite Kovu? (He instantly begins speaking sarcastically) The chosen one.

(Nuka reaches Vitani and slashes at the root breaking it and sending her backwards whilst he sniggers.)
