New World [Ended - Thanks for the adventure <3 ]

[Jenna]

Jenna sat, hidden in large grass reeds, far from sight of the others. Her body shook with every sob. She couldn't believe that he was really gone...really leaving...not coming back...
"What have you done..."
A slow and steady strp came to her ears. She looked up. It was Aramile.
"Just...just go..."

Kirsey then stood up. She walked and the ran where she saw part of Jenna's tail & she slowed down & padded her way threw the brush. She then saw Jenna there sobbing. She sat down and looked at her. "Jenna, whats the matter?" she asked kindly.

[Pulsar]

Mino had no expression on his face.
“So what would you have me do? Stay here?”
*If only it was that simple….*
Mino looked at Aramile
“Well, if you are in love with her and she is with you, then what use am I?”
He sighed and shook his head.
“I just can’t Aramile, besides she loves you so it shouldn’t matter that much of I leave…”
*Should it?*
Mino didn’t know anymore all these things, he couldn’t tell what was what anymore…
“I would stay but it hurts me to….. It’s nothing personal Aramile….”
He placed a paw on Aramile’s shoulder.
“You’re a lucky lion Aramile, I would hope you care for her well, and I .. I hope you two have a good life together…”
He turned away.
“Now…. I’m sorry but I’ve got to leave, every second I spend here is killing me slowly…”

Aramile looked at Mino.
''If this is what your heart desires, i wish you good luck, who knows? Maybe we will meet again someday?''
He said and placed his paw on his shoulder.
''Friends to the end?''

Kirsey looked at Jenna, hoping that she would answer her.

[Pulsar]

Mino looked back at Aramile and grinned.
“Always Aramile, always..”
He began to walk again.
“Hey, who knows, maybe ill drop by and let you know how things are going!”
He said walking off.
*Yea, that won’t happen anytime soon…*
He wasn’t planning on coming back anytime soon, maybe eventually, but until then, he had an old friend to look for…

[Jenna]

Jenna looked up. This was aweful. Now she had gotten Kirsey stuck in it as well...
"I...it's just Mino...nothing important."
She forced a small smile onto her face, then looked the other way.
*Mino...please don't go...*
*What use am I?*
*Why?*
She thought that for the hundreth time...but it would take a miracle...
If she could only change his heart, only change his mind...she would go crazy without him and Aramile there... The truth was like a stranger.

Aramile wasn't going to hold him back anymore, he had taken his decision.
''I'll make sure that Jen will be the first to see you pal!''
He yelled, giggled and turned around and begin to run toward where Jen was headed.
He searched for a little while, and then saw Kirsey.
''Oh no''
He said as he noticed heartbroken Jen. He hurried over to her and tried to make her feel comfortable.
''It's going to be fine love, Mino went where his heart desired, believe me, i really tried to get him back. My god, my poor Jen''
He said and nuzzled and licked away Jen's tears.

Kirsey stood up & let them be alone for awhile. She padded out of the bushes & lowered her head as she sat on the hot sahara desert dirt.

''I'm here, don't you worry, i will never leave you. And i am sure he will return, he told me. And friends never lie to eachother''
He said softly and nuzzled her again.

[Jenna]

Jenna looked up at him, thankfully. She took a deep breath. He was happy...that was good. She smiled and said,
"I guess it was sort of...innevitable...I always got the feeling that it was like he was trapped...I guess we just have to go on with our lives."
She kissed him on the cheek.
"We'll move again in the morning...I know we'll see him again. Right now, he needs to find his friend."
She nuzzled him and moved to Kirsey.
"You know, we were going to join your pride...but we're still looking for our home. And we want to find it. Thanks anyway."
She walked back to the cave and lay down.
"Goodnight, Aramile."
And in her head she silently said,"And you too, Mino..."

''Kirsey, can i have a word with you for a moment?''
He asked.
''If possible, i would like to meet your husband. I bet he is as kind as you, could you possible bring him tomorrow?''
Aramile asked and went into the cave and layed down beside Jen.
''Good night sweety, sleep tight''
He said and closed his eyes.

[Jenna]

Jenna woke up the next moring to see Aramile with another male. She stretched and got back to the water hole. For the moment, she had forgotten last night, but it soon came back. Yet, she seemed to be more peaceful about it than sad.
"Morning, Aramile."

Aramile was filled with joy and yelled
''Good morning lovely Jenna!''

[Jenna]

Jenna yawned.
"Good morning, bad hair day."
She pushed him slightly. She had a far better feeling about today. She looked out.
"We'll be moving on today...sometime this morning."
She smiled at him. And it wouldn't be so bad if she had im by her side.

''You look beautiful as usual my lovely Jenna''
He said and nuzzled her.
''And yes, we are moving on today, we are going to find a home of our own''
He said to the lion and smiled gently at his Jenna.

[Jenna]

Jenna smiled. She felt wonderful and beautiful around him. It was an elating sensation.
"I love you...but what about Safila...what am I to her?"
She had been wondering this last night. Was she now her mother? Or was she something closer to a sister?
"I know this is wonderful, but...well, she did seem to like me..."

Aramile looked around
''Safila? Honey? Where are you?''
He yelled.
''You can be whatever you wish my dear''
He replied and licked her cheek.

[Jenna]

Jenna smiled.
"I think, for now, I'm her friend."
She smiled and looked towrad the sun.
There is a lighter day, and it's closer than you let yourself believe...
She looked back and saw Safila.
"Alright, dear. You're riding on your father's back."
She picked her up and set her on Aramile's back. Sheek followed silently.

By midday, they had gone several miles away. It seemed so strange. They were leaving. It was her last thought before she hunted. That night, after telling everyone good night, she lay awake by Aramile. She missed Mino, but she would never forget him...

1 Year Later

Jenna opened one bleary, blue eye. She saw that he was still sleeping. She had changed from the adolescent to an adult. Her eyes were bluer, and her body sleek and shiny. She had the pose of a full grown lioness. She had grown more beautiful in the one year since she had seen Mino.

Aramile had grown stronger, leg unbroken, mane fuller. He was the picture of perfection in her eyes. Strong, dark, handsom, loving. She adored him. Safila had grown to a beautiful young lioness. Aramile suddenly opened an eye. Jenna looked at him.
"Good morning, Prince Sleepyhead."

Aramile grinned and rolled over at her.
''Good morning my beautiful Jenna''
Jenna had gone so beautiful, her eyes, her smile, her soft blue-black fur and so many other things.
''I can't believe i managed to be loved by a lioness like you my love, those thoughts often runs through my head, but i'm so happy that we've found each other''
He said and nuzzled her for a long time.
''My princess Jenna''
He said with a sigh of relief.

[Jenna]

Jenna smiled warmly. Yes, he still had his way with words. She licked his cheek and laughed softly.
"Why on earth would I ever say goodbye to a lion with as much charm as you?"
She laughed again as he tickled her lightly with his tail. She looked out of the entrance and then looked at Sheek. He had become more of a brother to her.

"Eventually, you're going to be hungry, and I'm the one that hunts. In other words, we need to stop playing sir."

The young lioness came over to where her mother and father(as she called them) were talking.
''Goodmorning mum.''
she nuzzled her.
''goodmorning dad, sleep well last night?''

''Mum, i know it's your job... but 've been practicing and i finally cought us some food.''

She ran to where she left it and dragged a young zebra over to where they all lay.

[This Land]

Sheek Looked at all the Lions, sheek was guilty, he didnt do any thing, she stood up high. Sniffed the air with confidence

"Im sorry if this is a shock to all you, but i will be back"
Even before the Jenna and co. could reply.....

Sheek roared as loud as he could and lept off as fast as he could he run and ran and ran, he was gone in a instant.........

Sheek had a very good sense of smell he picked up Mino's scent instantly. Mino should be only walking, sheeK was running as fast as he could, he caught up in about half an hour

Sheek saw Mino and...

SHEEK WAS FURIOUS, HE WENT UP TO MINO'S FACE

"Hey, ive tried to be nice to you man but now this is the part where you stop, turn around and look at the people you are leaving."

"how do you think i feel man, my mate was forced to run away from me, every day i always think about her, every day i miss her, but you know what i done, i held my head up high and looked at the friends i have NOW, not the friends or mates i want."

"if you think Jenna dont care about you,did you look at her, would she ever cry for no reason at a time like this. Look at me man how do you think i feel"

"look who you have man, Safila, Jenna, Aramile, kirsey, Me. And you are going to leave all of us. This must be another down part in my life, -----------Mino, your a really good friend you may think that you are doing nothing here and a waste of time----Wrong answer, your a great friend to everybody, even on the past few days we have had a pile of fun, and now you are leaving that behind----------Think about man."


"you know what, im never this leaving this group, because i remember making a promise for Jenna, even though we may not find them, that promise i still will keep, even if it takes to the end of my life, im still sticking to my promise"

"so now man, its entireley up to you"
Sheek looked at Mino with a upset/angry face, his eyes began to look alot wetter than they used to be.

''So mum, dad, who's having the first bite?''
She pushed the zebra closer to her parents..

Aramile nuzzled his Safila.
''You go ahead Safila *Yawns* I'm just gonna wake up''
He said and gave Safila a kiss.
''Anyone know where Sheek went?''
He asked nervously.
''Well, he's probably down at the waterhole''

Mino stopped dead in his tracks….. that voice…. It was Sheek! He turned around and looked at Sheek with an amazed expression. It had been one year… and somehow Sheek had managed to track him down, he was impressed to say the least.

“Well, well, well, hey there Sheek… It’s been awhile….”

Mino had changed so much over the year. He was more built from all the physical work that came with hunting and fighting for oneself, his mane had just barely become fully grown. He was now an adult and proud of it.
He stood there motionless as he listened to what Sheek had to say… Sheek was angry, very angry, Mino however wasn’t threatened by this…
Sheek’s words were interesting, but he disliked the way Sheek had implied that Mino didn’t care about his decision he made that day… he did, he had been thinking about it ever since he made it… every second of every day, all those sleepless nights…. He had been thinking about what could have been, about what might have happened had he stayed, how things would be different from now.

“It’s been a year Sheek…. Don’t tell me you are still thinking about that whole thing?”

He let out a chuckle. But the chuckle was short lived, as his mood changed to that of a serious one. His deep blue eyes met Sheeks glare, the shimmered in the light. Then he spoke.

“I’m disgraced at you; I can’t believe you left them to tell me this… things I’m already well aware of.”

For it wasn’t just Mino’s physical appearance that had changed, as he matured over the year, he gained a new look about things. Having no idea that the others weren’t that far away, which was how Sheek found him so quick, he continued.

“You spent the last year trying to find me….”

He shook his head in disbelief.

“It wasn’t necessary Sheek….. Now how are you going to get back to the others?”

Now it seemed that Sheek had left the group, this was absolutely useless. Mino was able to fend for himself he didn’t need help or company, he hadn’t needed it for a year, so why would he now?

Mino’s mood again changed, this time to a happy one, it was good to see his old friend again.
“So Sheek tell me…. How have things been?”
He said with a pleasant smile on his face.
“I assume time hasn’t gotten an upper hand on you yet?”
He joked.

(((sorry everybosy i never knew we jumped one year ahead so the post i done was meant to be based the day after he left)))

(( my last post is now based on sheek looking for mino one year later because his eent was in the air, sheek could smell mino's scent so he got up and ran towards his scent)).

"Dude, i wanted to find you because i missed you, all the fun times we had and you left. One slight bump and you left, why?."

"lions dont leave their friends because a little bad thing happens"
"since i sensed you where near by i got up and looked for you, because i miss you man"
"so are you gonna come back and start where we left off, and just put the past behind us?"

[Pulsar]

*A little bad thing….*
Sheek had no idea what he was talking about. The past can’t just be forgotten, it can’t just be thrown aside and not be expected to reappear… It was apart of who he was…
Then Sheek’s words caught his attention.
*They are all near by!?*
This caught Mino by surprise, and he ended up standing there for a few seconds while he thought about it.
*They are near…*
He kept repeating the words over and over in his mind… they were clear, but he couldn’t get a grip on them. So much had happened in the year, and now it seems that he was close to the group again… just like he said…
*hmmm*
He recalled when he told Aramile he would drop by and say hello. But could it have been destiny that brought him back to the group? Or just a mere coincidence?
He shook his head. Either way, he did make a promise to Aramile, there didn’t seem to be any reason that he shouldn’t keep his promise….
“They’re….. they’re nearby?”
He stuttered. He looked at Sheek again.
“I can’t put the past behind me Sheek…. But I guess I could try….”
He said smiling at him.

"so you wanna make your way to your old friends, thats cool"
Sheek put his paw on his shoulder, thankyou mate, this means alot to me
"you have changed, for the better, it is nice to see you again man" sheek forgot to mention this

"lets take a slow walk back and catch up on old times" sheek laughed

Mino laughed. It was good to see Sheek again.
“Well since you suggested it I guess you could tell me what has happened while I was gone… or are you at the stage in your life when you forget things?”
Mino joked as he walked alongside Sheek.
