Sukari turned round head hung down
"we all just have to stick togther and move on, i will never forget sheek, and a day will never pass without me thinking about him, but he will would of wanted me and all of us to carry on with our lives, we must go, go as far away as possible, sheek has injured legacy by what i saw but i have no idea if it was fatal" she said depressed
Sukari walked over to Des and wiped his tear of his cheek
"Your father and Sheek are with you, and will will pull through this together des" she said to him gently and gave him a nuzzle

Kai pulled Kasima off of his back.
"Stay here."
He walked over to a lioness, who was wiping a tear away. He creased his brows. He could understand only too well...
"Excuse me..... I-is there anything I can help with?"

Kisima sat there on the ground staring at her surrounding. Whenever someone looked at her she waved her paw and smiled happily not knowing they were going through a depressing stage in their life. "Kai..." She whispered out his name hoping he would return.

Fire was walking back to the group, hearing Sukari spea of moving on. It was a good idea at the time since they couldn't stir around in the presence of both Sheek and Jenna's passed-away bodies... It was strange that he felt his heart not stir when he saw the dead bodies near him. He knew Sheek was coming to his end, yet Jenna was something he didn't expect as much. I must be becoming like Leg.... No... Never.. I would never sink that low...
"Yes.. I think that's a good idea, Sukari..." He said with a nod to Sukari.

As they walked Des had his eyes on the ground the whole time. What Sukari had said still running through his mind. Looking up, he seen her as well as Tef, and Anmani still on Tef's back. When he thought about it, they seemed the closest thing to family he had, this idea brought back his father and Sheek into mind. Their image painted clearly in his head. He couldn't deal with this. Legacy had taken so many he had cared about, who was he going to take next? Tef? Sukari? one of the others? or..... Anmani?
With that thought something snapped inside Des, a burning hatred in his soul for the monster that destroyed his life. He finally understood what his father had meant by the speech he had given Des ages ago.
"Why dad!? This is insane! We've lost so many good lions to that freak of nature, why keep it up?"
Des yelled at his fathers back as a tear ran down his face.
"Because Des, I have to... Not because I want to... I would love to leave it all behind... I simply can't..."
The figure said in a low voice as it turned around to face him, it's face completely plain.
"I know i can't explain it to you Des, make you understand why i do what i do... all i can hope is that someday you might see the world through my eyes.. maybe then i wont be as much a disappointment to you..."
He figure finished before turning around again and walking away.
"YOU'LL ALWAYS BE A MONSTER TO ME DAD! YOU ARE JUST AS BAD AS HE IS!"
Des yelled at the lion as it walked away, tears running down his face as he did.
Sobbing slightly, he sunk into a seated position and lowered his head as the tears fell to the ground.
Then he felt a paw fall on his shoulder.
"You shouldn't judge your father so harshly sir.... He is only doing what needs to be done... Something I could never do..."
Sniffing slightly Des looked up at the figure, it's mane flashing a cold colour in the crisp mid day sun.
"But why?"
He asked the lion.
"Someday you'll understand, then you'll find that you are as much your father as you wish not to believe..."
It replied to the young lion.
"I'll never be like my father.... never.... I won't abandon family a friends for some revenge hunt.... trying to kill something that can't be..."
Des said in a low voice.
The figure sighed slightly and sat down beside Des.
"Des...."
It said before pausing.
"Do you think I am a monster?"
It finally asked.
Des:" No.... of coarse not... you've been like a mentor to me, even possibly a father, more then my real one..."
Figure:" But i am like your father.... He and I share the same goal, we both want the world to be safe from Legacy..."
Des:" Yea, but..."
Des paused, he wasn't sure how or what to say.
"Des, sometimes, doing the right thing means you might have to sacrifice something else.... "
He lion paused as it thought.
"Your father knows you don't like him for what he does... but he still does it anyway... do you know why?"
It finally questioned.
Des merely shook his head and looked up at the lion with a helpless expression on his face. The lion had been looking forward, but briefly at that point met Des's gaze, before looking back forward. Then it stood up.
"It is getting close to dinner, why don't you go get Anmani...."
Des was hoping for an answer, but the lion seemed to think he didn't need to hear it or didn't deserve to.
Nodding, he slowly rose then walked off to fetch his little brother.
"Oh and Desmani?"
It spoke, making Des stop in his tracks and looking back with a sorrowful face.
"Family is everything, never forget that.... Do everything in your power to protect it.... Even if it means you need to pay the ultimate price...."
The figure said before looking at the ground in sorrow, clearly recalling a past experience.
"Otherwise if you don't you will lose them, and will regret it for the rest of your life..."
It looked up at Des.
"Don't make the same mistake I did Des..."
The last sentence the lion said stuck with Des for the rest of his life.
Nodding to the lion, Des then turned and walked away. Des had always been in awe of the lion, Des had only heard stories of what the lion had been through, sacrificed, and lost.....
He wasn't going to let that lion down, he would protect his family, no matter what the cost....
"Family is everything, never forget that.... Do everything in your power to protect it.... Even if it means you need to pay the ultimate price..."
Des whispered as his gaze was on the ground, his mind coming back down to earth from the day dream he had just had.
Des finally understood what they had been talking about, why his father had left his family to carry out a war against Legacy, what the lion had meant that day.
"I won't let Legacy continue doing this...."
He said in a angry tone. He looked up at Anmani who seemed to have fallen asleep on Tef's back, the event must have tiered the cub out.
<Forgive me Anmani...>
Was the first thought that came to mind.
"Please watch over my brother Tef, i know you'll do a good job...."
He said faintly, then turned around and barged past Fire before bursting into a sprint towards a nearby jungle, and before the others could even react to stop him... he was gone....

Kisima sat there with her jaw dropped and eyes widened as she watched one of the lion yelling at something. "Kai!!" She said as she tugged on his tail. "I'm scared!!" She whispered, still holding onto his tail.

Sukari Looked back and Seen Des Run Off
She Looked down in sorrow and turned her Head back to where it was, she knew that Des wouldnt Just Run off like that. He ran Off For reason that could never of been proven wrong, one thought jumped into her mind.
"Godspeed Des, May god Give you Stregth Des.........Good Luck" she said upset
Now Sheek, Mino, Jenna, and Pulsar Had Gone, Sukari Knew her life would never been the same, she knew that she is not in control of her life, her life was planned out for her, as for every other Lion, and in This Life, the Plan Had No Happiness. But she will make it as much as she could to be at least Livable. For everybosy in the Group and her Future Cub.
She Didnt Want to refer the gruop though as a Gruop, But Now as a Pride, A pride with a Purpose. The Purpose to live on, No Matter What Life has Planned.

Tef gasped slightly as Des ran away. She looked after him for a moment, eyes wide in shock.
Why...? she thought, turning back forward.
Tef let out a sigh. She would have to look after Anmani now. And she would have to do it well. Flattening her ears momentarily, she looked around.
And what was it what she saw? Sorrow, lots of sorrow. Why did it seem that everywhere she went she saw only sorrow. Yea, a couple of happy moments here or there, but it was always ripped apart by sadness.
Tef sighed again, walking up to Sukari and continuing her way beside her friend. She wanted to speak, to say something.
But she just couldn't figure out what.

Sukari nudged closer to Tef and hung down her head but still looking at her

As Aramile and Alatarion had made their way towards the group, they had noticed how one of them had run away, due to despair or who knows, that was unknown for Alatarion and Aramile at the current moment.
''Hmm.. Your group... They're all filled with sorrow, I can feel it just by having a look at them''
Alatarion said and looked at Aramile.
''No one can blame them.. us... we lost so many, we gained less, we try to live on but there always seem to be something that we do wrong, what I do not know I'm afraid''
Aramile said as he brushed off a dead bettle on the ground as he noticed Safila on the ground still crying, in his blindness of Jenna's death, he had forgotten to bring her and no words could describe his appology.
''.. Honey..'' Aramile said as he walked slowly over to Safila and nuzzled her cheek. ''Talk to me.. Dad's here''.

Alatarion looked at a golden furred lioness, who clearly had lost something as well, something of great value to her.
He didn't hesitate for a moment as he slowly walked over to her.
''Excuse me, I'm a friend of Aramile.. I-i.. I come in peace, don't fear me''
The big lion said as he sat down a bit from her, looking at her form as the tears still were rolling down her cheeks.

Fire was looking around for something to keep his mind off of what had recently happened. He felt annoyance not for the group, but solely for himself. He didn't have something that he could grieve for in the group. He barely knew anyone that was in group and if he would talk to any of them about his own experience, they would probably just shake it off and worry about their own problems. It wasn't like it was aimed only at this group. This was the nature of a lion. Pushing everything away that didn't include oneself when they were either sad or despressed.
Suddenly, he felt a lion knock him down and he quickly got back to his feet. Before he even had time to react, the lion was gone and he knew right away it was Des. He walked over to where he started from his sprint over to Tef and asked her. "Where is Anmani, Tef? I want to talk to him and just be with him while everyone is grieving.. I do think Anmani understands the situation, but.. he probably doesn't 'understand' it as well as us."
What he meant by that was Anmani knew that Jenna and Sheek were gone. He just didn't have the emotional capacity to understand that Sheek and Jenna were never going to be seen again. No one could talk to them or hear their voices or play with them.. They were not on this earth anymore...

Tef's ears flattened slightly.
"If you're not completely blind... Anmani is on my back, Fire."
The words just came out from her mouth, emotionlessly. Tef lifted her head and looked at the red maned lion. She hadn't meant to be rude, but... At her current mood she would get annoyed easily from small things.
Tef shook her head and took a deep breath, closing her eyes momentarily.
Tefnut, pull yourself together! she thought. She knew that the more she would think of the loss that had hit the group, the harder it would be to get over it.
So, she turned to look at Sukari and forced herself to put on a faint smile.
"Yea, I'm ok... I think..." she replied. "I... we... we just need to keep going..."
Tef wasn't sure if even she herself believed on her own wodrs. But there was no way that Seek or Jenna could be brought back. They just would have to keep going, to become stronger.
I'll remember you... she thought momentarily and then lifted her head higher, turning to look at Anmani over her shoulder.
"You ok, little one?" she asked, smiling gently to the cub on her back.

"Oh..." The reality of seeing Anmani on her back made him very embarassed, not seeing him nuzzled into her fur. It was an honest mistake to not see him since he was almost covered in the fur that emmassed over her head. He decided to follow Tef and Sukari. He didn't have guidance as to where to go and following Sukari would be the best thing for advancing on the situation at hand. He looked over at Anmani when Tef asked the question.

Anmani lifted his head as Tef spoke to him. There were tear marks running down his cheeks from when he had been crying. He didn't reply but merely nodded and rubbed one paw across his face.
He was trying to seem brave, like his father and brother said he should be, but Anmani was never really like them, he didn't like fighting and war, even the pretend stuff.
Having witnessed it first hand, well needless to say it hit Anmani with a very effective emotional blow.
He kept thinking how he had to be strong like his brother and father, how he couldn't let himself be such a weakling like his brother slagged him about sometimes when they played.

He saw Anmani having the tears on his cheeks and that he knew aobut what was going on. Fire now felt like the lone zebra in a herd. Only wishing that his brother was here to help him keep company or at least help the others with comfort. A small cheek of his own started rolling down his right cheek, away from everyone's view but he still wiped it away. It was at last moment that he felt a heavy weight of emotion slam down on him, not wanting to cry since he new that if he cried, it would make the group feel worse. So, he just continued walking in the normal fashion that he did.

Tef saw the tear marks on Anmani's face. She smiled gently to the cub.
"You don't have to hold them back" she whispered, still smiling.
"If you feel you need to cry, then cry. There's nothing in that which you should be ashamed of."
Tef reached and gave Anmani a slight nuzzle.
"Even the breavest lions cry sometimes" she whispered to his ear, turning then to look momentarily at Fire.
She had seen him whiping the tear away, but she said nothing about it.
"Everything will be ok" she said, pointing her words mostly to Anmani, but also to anyone else who was near enough to hear her.

Anmani just looked at Tef for a second then looked at the others, pausing for a moment on each. Before he buried his head back in Tef's fur. He kept his eyes squinted shut and very lightly whimpered to himself, hopping that no one would hear him. He wanted to be brave, he really did, but things, they just, overwhelmed him... too much happened too fast...

(since nobosy has posted for some time, i will do a time skip of a few hours)
After a few Hours, sukari started to walk slower and slower, her legs feeling like jelly. She strained to carry on, and try and get away as far as possible from past events. tears running down her cheek like sweat.
She finally collasped on the ground and took deep breaths trying to cover up her crying. She just couldnt stop thinking about sheek's death.
"i just need to rest" is all she could say

Tef looked at Sukari when she collapsed down. She stopped walking and looked at the others.
"Lets all take a little break" she suggested on a calm tone of voice.
Tef walked next to Sukari and laid down beside her friend. She took Anmani away from her back and placed him between her front paws. Then the liopardess nuzzled Sukari's shoulder.
"It's ok, Su..." she whispered on a gentle tone of voice, not really knowing what else she could have said.

Sukari returned the nuzzle
"i just feel lost without him, i feel like all my life has been taken from me" she said depressed
"i dont know how i can cope" he said quietly and closed her eyes
"i dont know if i want to live anymore" she said quieter
Sukari soon put her head on her paws and rifted off to sleep,

Anmani flinched slightly when Tef took him off her back and placed him between her paws. As she spoke he looked up at her and then at Sukari as she replied. When Sukari had drifted off, he looked left and right at each paw on either side of him. He felt comfortable and safe with Tef, a feeling of security that was rare for him.
His face was still one showing a hit of sadness as he looked at the paws. For his mind still played on what had happened a while back. However this was quick to leave his mind as the heat from Tef made him sleepy.
With that he moved backwards toward her more and cuddled up beside on arm, before he lay down on the ground and curled up into a ball, only to drift off to sleep.

Tef watched in silence as Sukari drifted of to sleep. She continued to watch her friend asleep, feeling sorry for the loss of Sheek. If there had been anything Tef could have done, she would have done it to help Sukari.
But at the moment, there didn't seem to be anything like that.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a feeling of something curling up beside her arm. She looked down and saw Anmani asleep. A gentle smile appeared to her face as she watched the cub.
So cute... she thought, lifting her head up to look around.
Tef decided she'd guard the dreams of these two. She didn't feel sleepy, so she could easily let the other members of the group to fall asleep too if they wanted.

After a While Sukari Stirred In Her Sleep, Turning From Left to right. She started growling, her eyes closing tighter and tigther, her eyesbrows almost folding in.
She saw a black siloeete coming towards her, she turned her head to the left. Seen the body of sheek lying on the floor, she turned back to the siloeete, white teeth appered in a smile of the figure. He held up his paw and bared his claws.
Suddenly she let out a Roar Opened her eyes and bared her claws and took a swing Tefnut but stopped just inches away from Tef's head. Sukari, Eyes wide Open stared at Tef, Panting Heavily. Her jaw slowly dropped. Her facial expession chnaged slowly into sorrow.
She slowly tucked her claws back into her paws and very slowly put her paw on the ground.
"Im sorr..........what was i going to d........." she managed to choke out
Sukari Sat Up, turned away , sighed and shook her head

Fire nodded in agreement as Tef told everyone to take a break. It was a good idea at the time since he suddenly felt a tingling pain in his paws, a sign that they were growing of tiredness from the walking. Fire saw Anmani curling up into a little bundle of fluff and falling asleep, smiling as he saw how cute it made him look. But, that suddenly disappeared as he barely caught out of the corner of his eye Sukari swinging a paw threateningly at Tef, seeing her then recoil in bewilderment and horror and shy awya from Tefnut. Fire slowly made his over to Sukari and then sat down not exactly in front of her, but more to the side. "Sukari.. Are.. Are you all right?... You seem... out of sorts..." He said in a calm and worried voice, hoping that he could at the very best make her feel better.

Safila saw her father come up to her and nuzzled him. "Why dad? For the second time..." She said crying slightly.

Kisima couldn't see Kai anymore. He seemed to have dissapeard. She looked around and walked up to a couple of lions. The lion with the redish mane was talking to a lioness he called 'Sukari'.
Kisima walked up to her and sat down. "Umm, excuse me... Sukari..." She said nudging her gently, hoping to get her attention.

Sukari stayed still and quiet for a while. She looked at fire then looked down at the little cub who nudged her
Sukari didnt know what to do, she was stick struck on what she almost accisently almost done to tefnut.
"Yes" is all she manged to chocke out

"umm.. Have you seen Kai?" She asked. She then looked up at the lioness noticing that she didn't look very good. "Um.. are you alright??" She asked kindly. She then turned to Fire. "Have you seen Kai?"

Tef stared at Sukari, her eyes were wide open. She couldn't understand what was wrong with her friend. After a moment of thinking, as Fire and Kisima came to them, Tef finally caught the reason.
Maybe... She's so upset... she thought, calming down a bit and looking momentarily at Anmani on her paws. She then turned to look at Sukari again.
"It's ok, Su..." the liopardess said to her friend. She didn't really know what she could say to Sukari.
We all would need something else to think... she thought, looking again down at Anmani.

Sukari turned her head to Tef
"It Cant be ok, the death of my loved one is taking over all my mind, when my eyes opened, my dreams carried on, i though you where him. i thought you where legacy" she croaked upset
"I almost hurt you badley, i feel awfull" she cried
sukari walked away slowly, dragging her head, almost touching the ground

Tef flattened her ears when she heard Sukari's words.
I thought you were Legacy...
Her eyes turned darker. Hearing those words made her feel uneasy. Tefcouldn't do anything else than just stare at the ground, without seeing it.
"I am not him..." she muttered quietly, speaking more to herself than anyone else.
Tef just kept staring at the ground, falling into her thoughts and not paying any attention to what happened around her.
