I know, I know. Everyone who doesn't like the ponies is tired of hearing about them, but the bronies who love them can't get enough. So... any fellow fans? I love the show myself--and Pinkie Pie is best pony.  |

I think we covered this in the Café some time ago.. =P Either way, yes! *waves* xD Though I guess I'm just sort of a "casual fan". I really enjoy the show, but I don't really involve myself in the fandom a lot beyond that. I'm really quite amazed at just how popular the ponies are though. It's crazy xD And I have a hard time choosing my favourite pony. I like Zecora and Big Macintosh, but out of the Mane Six I think it'll have to be... either Twilight or Applejack. Probably Applejack And Doctor Whooves, of course ;D |

Haha, you like the Apple family, then :3 I do like how they portray them in the cartoon. I just love Pinkie because she seems a lot like me. Hyper, friendly, overly chatty, and vulnerable to loneliness. And she goes way out of her way to make others happy :3 I also adore Princess Luna. She's awkward and overly formal and the best princess ever  And can I just say... Derpy Hooves. <333 |

Haha, no, they've taken over the internet... XD I didn't expect to be dragged into it, but it really is a quality show. The animation is beautiful (which is a big deal for me, hehe) and the characters and stories really are... good. Which isn't exactly common in children's shows these days, so, yes... I'll need to catch up on the rest of the season soon. But I love that Cadence and Shining Armor appeared in the two first ones. They're my favourite couple, for sure ;D |

I think for me the biggest issue really is the quality of the animation - or rather the way they draw the ponies. I'm too much of a hard-core fan of the G1 ponies to like FiM style. Not to say that the animation quality in the G1 series was good. Those seaponies are still giving me nightmares. xD Anyway, I even had one of my friends who's a big brony recommend an episode for me to watch, and even after that it just felt all... bleh. |

Ah yes, the most dangerous question one can ask these days, a question I'll reply to with a resounding YES. Barring a few episodes, I think it's currently one of the best shows around.
And Pinkie Pie is indeed the best pony.

Omg Twillicorn made me nearly die and I think they are already making toys for her! I can just imagine how sad it will be for Twi to deal with her friends deaths because she is immortal... SO SAD! And Rd is my fav pony and my fav BG pony is Derpy hooves and Doctor Whoves  And in my theory I believe that Celestia is Rainbow Dashes Mom oh my god so MANY PONY THINGS TO SAY! |

Well Twi may or may not be immortal, we'll see. I think she might be a special case? I'm not sure. I always had a theory that Fluttershy was Scootaloo's biological mother but was too young to have raised her and had to give her up or something. That's just one of those things that's super far-fetched and unlikely, though it's fun to think about XD
My favorite ponies are in this order: Princess Luna > Pinkie Pie > Derpy/Ditzy. Luna is so adorable! And her story is so complicated; we never know what she's thinking or what REALLY happened when she turned into Nightmare Moon. I always felt sympathy for her, since I have a little sister myself and I know what it's like to have a younger sibling try their hardest to live up to what you've done. That being said, it's the same reason I don't like Celestia--I would never force Luna to apologize after banishing her to the moon for a thousand years! That's just cold.

Bumping his thread Well well, seems that I just finally caught up with the series so far (including yesterday's episode, Make New Friends but Keep Discord), and alright, I love it I don't think I'll ever get too much into the fandom, but the show still has me very hooked. Besides the gorgeous animation, lovable characters, and really fun episodes, the attention to detail and easter eggs they sneak in are just awesome (I loved the 'Metal Gear Solid' and 'The Shining' references in this last episode xD). It was also pleasant to see Ahuizotl, a creature from Aztec mythology in the show, and Pinkie Pie singing a Mexican birthday song at some point xD As for the obvious question, who's my favourite pony? Well, from the mane 6, I'm still very fond of Applejack, she's my favourite concerning attitude. But Fluttershy is for me the best character in MLP, gotta love how shy and innocent she is all the time, but when she gets angry, you just don't mess with her xD she makes me laugh the most. As for other characters, I guess if I had the books, I would be a big fan of Daring Do as much as Rainbow Dash is  |

I saw three episodes which I quite enjoyed. It's very well done. If I didn't have so much work to do/games to play/books to read/movies to watch/people I love to spend time with I'd probably enjoy the whole series and call myself a bronie too:). Eh, maybe I can sacrifice one of the above and splurge one school holiday:).
