A.J turned to Kadoo and smiled at her. "I'm glad that you trust me, I appreciate it. I know sticking together would be better, but also it would be worse, if you get what I mean. Splitting up means we get more help in the same space of time than if we stayed together."

A.J continued walking and laughed to himself. "Okay, i wasn't going to have any anyway, So don't worry." He knew that she was lying though, because she hesitated in saying why he couldn't have any. However, he didn't want to push her into telling him.

he was about to roar when a paw appears on his muzzel, "Not this time princy" he said, hitting him hard on the back of the head, "Sweet dreams" he said sadistically.
Picking up nabus body they ran towards Mwiba and his cronies, And someone special.

"Hold on a sec." She snuk past, and climbed up on a rock above them.

The python slowly crept closer, at a rate that would go unnoticed by most.

Step 1 of manipulation: create doubt. By far the easiest step, and one he excelled at. This wasn't going to be hard at all. In fact, he had to admit that he was glad that he hadn't stuck with his original plan, the eating-the-lion-for-fun plan. Perhaps there really was something useful about this thing mammals called 'improvisation'.
Let's see how far I can go with this one...

A.J's eyes widened as the Dik-Dik ran towards him. He got up and waited for the right moment to pounce. "Your not getting away from me..." he muttered under his breath. The dik-dik ran just in front of him and he pounced on it, digging his claws into it and sinking his teeth into it's neck. He held the struggling dik-dik down until it got weaker and weaker and eventually, it went limp. Dragging it over to Kadoo, he dropped it and spoke. "what would you do without me?" A.J laughed and gestured for Kadoo to take her fair share first.

"Lionesses first." A.J smiled at Kadoo and sat on his haunches and looked to where they were heading for two reasons. One, he thought it was very rude watching somebody eat if you weren't eating yourself, and two, he was wondering what the journey ahead was going to be like. "So, what do you plan on saying once we get to your father?"
