One really pesky cub

(OOC: This is my first try at role playing on here and I thought a lot before I put this up. However if you have any tips please share!)

Asha yawned as she felt her mother stretch beside her. The warm furry body stood up and Asha moaned.

"Asha get up" Her mother told her. Her fur was a light cream colour. Her eyes were bright and alert, Asha was her first cub. Asha stood up reluctantly. Her slightly darker cream coloured fur was a mess from rolling around in the night. Her mother began to groom her. The sun was only just up and a slight breeze was blowing into their cave.

"It's a beautiful day to live in Africa" Her mother sighed happily as Asha grumbled about not needing a bath. As soon as her mother was done she shot forward to the cave entrance.

"Hey mum can I go play?" Asha asked. Her mother gave her an incredulous look. Asha longed to play in the early morning light. Or so it would seem. Her mother knew better.

"By 'play' you mean bug the other lionesses don't you?" She asked. Asha shook her head. Her mother looked her up and down. Then sighed heavily.

"Yes you can, but don't go too far. The last time you did we had to stop the hunt and look for you. That reminds me. I'm going with the hunting party now, so if you get any trouble we'll be hunting some Zebra" Her mother said. Asha yelled happily and shot out of the cave. She reached the waterhole and began pouncing grass that were blowing in the breeze.

Tura pounced around and was enjoying herself when all of a sudden she noticed another lioness cub bouncing around, Tura pinned her ears back nervously her unusual light red and cream mixed fur blowing in the breeze. Padding forward Tura perked her ears up feeling more and more confident, “hi I’m Tura. Wanna play a game?” She asked the cub. Tura sat down her topaz eyes glinting hopefully. Tura stretched then sat down flicking her tail waiting for the reply off the other lioness cub.

Asha suddenly felt like she was being approached. She turned to see an unfamiliar lioness cub coming towards her. She had an unusual fur colour light red and cream mixed. She asked her if she wanted to play a game. She smiled at the cub.

"Hi I'm Asha. I'd love to play a game" She replied to Tura. She bounced round Tura in a circle out of excitement.

"So what are we going to play?" Asha asked her still not managing to sit in one place for more than 5 seconds.

“Hmm, shall we play races Asha? I’m quite fast!” Tura said grinning following her in circles. “Or if you don’t wanna play that we can play anything you want I’m fine!” She said grinning mischievously. Tura jumped and landed neatly on her front paws with her hind legs in the air. “Shall we?” She asked, hoping that she might have a new friend.

Asha grinned at Tura. She nodded, after all races meant noise, and noise meant upset lionesses! Also she quite liked Tura. She sat still and watched in amazement as Tura leaped and landed neatly on her front paws.

"How do you do that?" Asha asked trying to copy her. However the only thing that she managed to do was crash to the floor. Laughing nervously she got to her feet. She smiled slyly realizing it had distracted Tura.

"1 2 3 RACE YOU TO THAT ROCK AND BACK!" Asha yelled as she took off running as fast as her legs could carry her.

“HEY!” Tura grinned jumping forward making all four paws land neatly as she bounded after her new friend. Eventually Tura caught up to Asha. “Ha!” She grinned as she tried to get in front of Asha, Tura eventually got to the rock and bounced off it smiling, “hurry up Asha!” Tura laughed. When Tura got back to the watering hole she immediately started lapping the cool water up. Looking up panting she smiled at Asha. Whilst Tura waited she started doing her paw stands again watching Asha run toward her.

Asha frowned. How did she get the upper hand? Suddenly Asha remembered that the waterhole had been muddy and slippery the past few days. She shrieked as she tried to stop herself, but she couldn't. She watched Tura try to get out of the way. However she wasn't quick enough, for once, and Asha crashed into her, the two cubs skidded into the waterhole. Asha sat up sopping wet and grinned at Tura.

"And I've already had my bath too!" Asha giggled as she splashed Tura a bit.

Tura burst out laughing, "I bathed myself my mum left me when I was young.” Tura pinned her ears back but shook it off her. She mischieviously splashed Asha back playfully. “Where’s your mum?” Tura asked smiling I bet she looks like you does she?” Tura asked curiously. She smiled then stretched, “even if you do I’m wild and can’t be tamed.” Tura laughed. “What do you wanna play now?” She asked giggling.

"Oh I'm sorry" Asha said when Tura told her about her mum. She seemed to shake it off quickly.

"My mum's back in our cave. She doesn't have many friends because I tend to annoy all the lionesses. She looks quite a bit like me, but my fur is darker. She says it reminds her of my...dad" Asha said trying to brush off the mention of her dad.

"I've never met a cub that fends for themselves before. Is it hard?" Asha asked. She was far too curious to think of another game.

“I’m sorry about your mum not having many friends Asha, and yes it is quite hard I have to hunt, fight and clean myself. Although it gets quite a bit lonesome at times. What about your dad? Where’s he?” Tura asked sitting down and wrapping her tail round her paws. “I have all day to talk, you?”

"I've got ages. My mum will probably be glad to take a break from me. Wow you can hunt already! I can't even catch a field mouse." Asha said copying Tura. She was reluctant to answer about her dad, but Tura had been really open with her.

"Well I don't know where he is. We were attacked by Hyenas and he told us he was going to chase them off... He never came back" Asha said sadly. She shook it off just as quickly as Tura had.

"So what did you eat last? When did you eat last?" Asha said an idea forming in her head.

Tura smiled, “yesterday evening, I ate some of an antelope foal. It’s mother had left it to escape, it was weak and injured so I just took it from there. Why?” Tura asked curiously.

"Because my mum likes me making friends and she's been hunting with the other lionesses. She's usually back by now in fact, listen" Asha said they both heard a lioness call Asha's name.

"So I was wondering do you want to come and eat with me?" Asha asked.

"I'm not saying I don't think you could find some food but I've never had a friend eating with me. Afterwards we could go to this realy cool place I know!" Asha said trying to tempt Tura. She sat hopefully.

Tura thought about it for a second, "sure I'd love to come if your mum doesn't mind." She replied happily, "this will be my first night of not eating food I hunted, and yeah I'll go to that really cool place with you." Tura said grinning happily, "will your mum mind?" She asked suddenly worried.

while her mother went out to hunt, the young Guil left to explore the surrounding area as is his custom, while rolls in the grass understand a conversation, curious resolves investigate
... Guil approaches of the two Lioness with curiosity, he had already seen them before but not very well knew, and decided to talk to them
"Hello girls, how are you?"
he looks at them expecting a reaction.

Tura turned, “oh hi…um… I’m sorry I don’t know your name.” Tura said smiling at the cub gently, “I’m Tura and this is my friend Asha. Would you like to play with us?” Tura asked politely her sapphire blue eyes shining. She took a step forward waiting for the cub to decide and sniffed him. “hmmm, interesting scent.” She said smiling.

As quick as a flash Tura and pinned the cub playfully.

Asha looked at the new lion cub and giggled as Tura pinned him.

"Hi. So what is your name?" Asha said as she sat down beside the two. Tura was obviously going to let him up when he anwered.

Tura grinned at Asha because she knew she could read her mind. Smiling angelically she turned back to the new cub. “Do you wanna be our friend as well?” Tura asked gently smiling warmly at the new cub. “we’ve just met and we are like best friends. Well sort of” She said giggling keeping the cub pinned gently and playfully. Tura turned to Asha and put her paw on Asha as well pinning her as well. Giggling she looked at the two a playful glint in her eye. She took her paws at both then turned to Asha. “Why don’t we all go to your mums for dinner?” Tura asked curiously smiling at her.

"Sure. My mum will be so shocked that I have two cubs over for dinner! Let's go!" Asha said as Tura took her paw off. Asha decided she had some business to take care of. She leaped on Tura and tried to pin her. She looked at the other cub.

"What do you say?" Asha asked him. Whilst trying desperately to stop Tura flipping her over.

Tura pushed up, “sure.” She said grinning. “Hey are you coming?” Tura asked the new cub. Tura turned back and grinning at Asha, “are you definitely sure your mum won’t mind?”

"She won't mind" Asha assured Tura. She was a bit annoyed at being shoved off. She took a quick drink of water then licked her paw.

"I just noticed I'm all muddy. If my mum see's me like this she'll send you off so she can give me a bath! Hold on a minute!" Asha called then dissapeared under the water. Then she shot up she started swimming laps to wash herself.

"Do you two want to come swim?" Asha called swimming to the deeper end.

Tura nodded then followed Asha so she would look her best for Asha’s mum. After a few laps Tura climbed out of the water, “lead the way!” She called to Asha sitting by the waterside smiling nervously.

Asha smiled and began a game of follow the leader as they headed back to her cave. She bounced across rocks. She could hear Tura pinning the new cub every so often. Asha had decided he was just quiet. So when they got to the cave her mum reacted as predicted.

"Asha! You have friends!" Her mother called happily. Asha smiled.

"Hi mum this is Tura. This cub is quiet, we don't know his name" Asha said purring as she nuzzled her mum. Her mother smiled at the group.

"Well come on in. We actually managed to catch Zebra and Antelope today" Her mother said. The cubs were already at the food. Asha watched as Tura leaped on a cub shoving him out of the way. She joined her friend as they ate. She could tell Tura had never seen as much food, as a full grown antelope and Zebra, in her life. She smiled.

Tura went and sat by the new cub waiting for the others to feed, she smiled at him then sat calmly by his side, “Best not interfere huh?” Tura said smiling at the male cub. She turned then smiled timidly at Asha, “you and your family can eat first, we’ll wait.” She said smiling then turning to talk to the new cub

Asha wanted to wait for Tura but after seeing her turn to the new cub she decided to join her mother. She glanced back at the two every so often. Her mother gave her a nudge.

"Are you okay Asha?" She asked. Asha nodded and tucked into the meal. She kept a big piece back for Tura and the new cub.

"My name is Guile, love eating with you, which is
your name? "
he says smiling at them. = 3

"I'm Tura and this is Asha." Tura replied, "I think it's best we wait for her family to finish eating before we have some. Don't want to intrude do we?" She said, "do you want to play a game whilst they eat Guile?" Tura asked softly.

"Yes, what kind of game?"

"Anything. I don't mind" Tura replied flicking her tail. Lying down Tura put her head on her paws thinking, "you can pick if you want."

"hei Tura , have you ever seen a piece of the moon?"
he asked with a ton of doubts...
