Species: Lion (With a few faint leopard features)
Appearance:
Novinha's pride were once let a leopard join, she found a mate and had a beautiful leopard/lion cub and so it continued and so now many generations later Novinha is still faintly leopard. Novinha is a beautiful light brown sandy colour, her belly is a slightly lighter shade of brown and reaches from her chest to her tail. Her tail is not that of a lions nor a leopard, it has fur all the way down and is without a tip, but it isn't as thick as a leopards tail and the fur isn't quite that long, but the end of the tail is the light brown of her belly. Novinha has longer fur at the edges of her face, the tips are the light brown colour. Her eyes are lighter brown beneath them and above them they are a slightly darker brown. Novinhas eyes are a dazzling mint green. Her eyebrows are smooth and and thin. Her ears are slightly shaggy looking and they are the darker shade of brown of her eye. Her paws are the light brown of her belly and only cover her toes.
Personality:
Novinha had a difficult past, and so finds it hard to socialise but knows where people lay traps for her, but sometimes to late. She isn't stupid, in fact she is rather smart, she knows how to hunt effectively (Mainly thanks to her parents,) but doesn't know how to do it with others. Novinha hates being alone, but hates the people who try praise her and so she is stuck between solitude or misery. Novinha has an amazing sense of humour, but you need to let her come out of her shell before she is comfortable enough with you to let it she. Novinha longs for a friend that sees her not just her parents glory, but they are hard to find. Novinha though is very family orientated and so if anyone hurts or insults close friends or family she goes into a state of complete irrational anger.
History:
When Novinha was only just approaching adolescence the pride when through a time of illness, everyone was ill and no one knew of a remedy to this malady. Novinha's mother and father set about finding a solution, and after months of trying they discovered a root or counteract the illness, but unfortunately it was to late to save themselves and died a week after. At their death ceremony everyone was smiling, all they saw was their health, no one was upset about there loss, Novinha was in the corner crying and said nothing. After the ceremony was over everyone came over to her and said "We know you miss your parents but look at what they did," all smiling, not upset one little bit. Novinha was boiling inside and felt like hitting them all, but she didn't, she just sat there her face never changing. From then on she doesn't like having contact with the other lions, she prefers to keep to her self in her little glade of trees.
