Description:
His fur is the same colour and shade as his father, Kovu, and so is his mane, though it's much shorter because he's still developing it as an adolescent.
His eyes look similar to Kiara's, but a little brighter.
Behavior:
As future King, Khari tries doing his best to impress his parents in King-like duties, but often fails in sloppy and embarrassing ways. A very small task for him can end up in a big clumsy mess. Other animals look at him cringing at the thought of him being their King someday, which has hurt Khari's feelings more than once. His sealed future as King terrifies him, fearing no one will like him as such or follow his command.
Despite being famous and treated with respect as the Crown-Prince, Khari doesn't make friends very easily. His shyness gets only a few stammering words out of his mouth when meeting a new face, but once he gets to know someone better he feels more comfortable. The lion he likes to spend the most time with is his own father, Kovu, who focus his parenthood in giving Khari the love he himself didn't receive as a cub. However, he does get scolded quite harshly by Kovu when he messes up, a trait, perhaps, from his abused past in the Outlands, but Kovu recognizes this, and soon he goes back into being a good father. Queen Kiara is often too busy to spend quality time with Khari, but she's very caring to him nonetheless when she can.
Khari is a dreamer at heart. He likes to imagine himself in fantastical situations and travelling to far away lands, living carefree. This makes his attention span sway below average, which has his mother frustrated when teaching him the ways of ruling the kingdom. To make up for this, he dedicates more time to study than any of his predecessors, even giving up most of his play time. He understands the importance of this, but often looks away to see his siblings playing with their friends, longing to be part of it and wishing that being king came more naturally to him... then he realizes his mind wandered off again and goes back to study.

Khari is the first born son of Kiara and Kovu, and heir to the throne as future King of the Pridelands.
