*The rumours of Unreal*

[Kirsui]

Inari had been watching the others while they were playing at the distance. She had a faint smile on her face. Her tail swayed slightly as she sat there. Anubris looked at Inari from his eyecorner and saw she had fallen into her thoughts.

"What are you thinking, My Lady?" he asked with a lifted eyebrow.
Inari blinked her eyes and turned to look at the cheetah.
"The past..." she said faintly, giving a quick look for Kriz.

She did remember he had asked about her powers a moment ago, but like before she hadn't replied. Maybe she could have, but she knew better than that. In fact, there was only two who knew her powers. Other was Anubris, her Guardian. The other one was someone who Inari had trusted with her life.
And who eventually had broken that trust.
Inari let out a sigh.

"Don't think of that, My Lady" Anubris said, guessing what she was thinking.
"What he did was not your fault, My Lady. He did what he found best for himself, not what was best for you."
After saying this Anubris walked to a nearby rock, jumping on top of it and taking a look around. He decided it was best to let Inari be alone for a while. However, if Kriz wanted to talk to her Anubris wouldn't stop him.

Inari turned to look at Kriz. Why was he so interested of what had happened?
For a moment she looked at Kriz suspiciously, but then she calmed down. He was propably just curious, meaning no harm to her.
Inari turned to look in the distance.
"I was betrayed" she spoke. "Betrayed by the one who I trusted most. My trust towards him was strong, in the same way it is now strong towards Anubris. And with that betrayal he almost got me killed, which was, I suppose, his main purpose from the very beginning."

Inari turned her head to look at Kriz again.
"I do have abilities" she said on a serious tone of voice. "But the betrayal is the reason why I do not share them with others just like that. The ones who will share my secrets are to earn my trust, and at the moment there is only Anubris who can be proud to say that I trust him with my life."
After saying this Inari turned to look at the horizon.

[Kirsui]

Inari's eyes flashed.
"I will not mention his name aloud" she informed on a cold tone of voice.
"He is nothing more than trouble, everywhere he goes he causes trouble... And he does know that very well. It is his best joy to cause harm to others."
Inari turned to look at Kriz.
"I suggest you stay away from him" she said on a more friendly tone of voice.
"It is a matter between me and him, and no one else should step inside it."
Her eyes flashed a bit.
"I will deal with him... One day... And when that day comes, he will wish he had never been born!"
With a sigh, Inari closed her eyes and let her head fall a bit.

Inari chuckled.
"Yes, I have powers... And so does he!"
She took a deep breath and let the air out slowly.
"I am afraid that he is much more stronger than I am" she said. "Atleast he was when we last met. I do not know where he has gone now, but one day - when my own powers have grown enough - I will go and find him."
Her eyes narrowed slightly as an idea came to her.
"You move objects with your mind..." she muttered quietly, thinking aloud.
Inari turned to Kriz.
"How often have you seen this power in others beside yourself?" she asked. "I have to admit that I haven't heard of 'mind powers' in a long time. Maybe you have?"

[Kirsui]

Inari lifted an eyebrow.
"So... You lift a paw at the same time when you want to move an object..."
She smiled faintly. Then suddenly her eyes started glowing. It was only a faint glow at first, hard to even notice. But it got stronger after a moment and soon her eyes turned white as the glow covered them.

Then, a small leaf rised up from the ground, floating in front of Inari's face. Her eyes narrowed and another leaf was lifted up, then another and another... And soon there were about 20 leafs floating in air around her. She looked up to the sky, her eyes still glowing. The leaves started circling around her, rising higher and higher and circling around as long as one could see them. Then Inari closed her eyes and let her head fall a bit. She took a deep breath.

"That was one of my powers" she said, opening her eyes. They weren't glowing anymore.
"As you propably noticed, it is similar to yours."
Inari smiled faintly.
"But unlike you, I have limits. I can control a large ammount of small objects at the same time. The smaller and lighter the object is, the easier it will be for me to controll them and I can lift larger ammount of them at the same time."

Inari's smile faded away.
"And also..." she continued, now speaking on a rather serious tone of voice.
"I am able to lift and move larger objects too, but... That will make me tired, very tired."
She frowned slightly.
"That is the reason why I don't use this power of mine very often. Infact, it has been almost 6 months when I last time used it."
She let out a sigh and looked at Kriz.
"So... Now you know a bit more about me" she said. "I told about this power to you, because I have been looking for... Someone who could teach me to use it. Yes, I know the basics and such, but I need to become stronger with it."

She paused for a moment, seeing Anubris from her eyecorner. The cheetah had turned to look at her when she had used her power. If one looked carefully, one could see a hint of joy in his eyes, joy over the fact that Inari was willing to learn more from a lion she barely knew. Anubris knew she hadn't been the same after she was betrayed, maybe she was now getting over that.

"So... Could you teach me?" Inari asked, from Kriz, tilting her head slightly as she waited for the reply.

As Inari and Kriz were talking, Anubris had been listening it with interest. However, now their discussion had come to a point where Anu couldn't follow it completely. They were talking about moving objects with well... This 'power' they both seemed to have. And since Anubris didn't, he started feeling like he did not belong there.

Anubris thought about the rest of the group. Where were they at the moment, what they were doing?
He looked at Inari.
"I'll go to find the rest, My Lady" he said with a blank expression, even though there was a pleading look in his eyes.

Inari turned to look at Anubris and nodded with a slight smile. She watched for a moment as the cheetah jumped on his feet and ran towards the direction where he thought he had seen the others for the last time. He was running fast, looking like a blur as he ran through the savannah.

Inari sighed slightly and turned to Kriz again.
"Ok, I'll show you again" she said, looking around for something she could lift up.

Inari focused on a small stone and her eyes began to glow again, turning into glowing white as the stone was lifted up from the ground. Inari didn't need to move a paw or anything, she just had to concentrate, feel the object she was lifting, see it inside her mind. The stone slowly floated higher and it was about on Inari's eye level. She let it be there, turning to look at Kriz with her glowing eyes.
"I can not really explain how I do it" she said, keeping the stone lifted as she looked at Kriz.

[Kirsui]

Inari chuckled slightly, but did not lift her paw.
"That is the problem... Using my paw..." she said, turning to look at her stone.
"What will I do when I have more objects on air? I can not point my paw at all of them all the time."
She smiled weakly, lifting her paw and moving it slightly as she moved the stone at the same time.
"I used to use my paw... A very long time ago. It was when I had just discovered my power."
She chuckled again and then let out a sigh.
"Then I realized... It did not matter. Use my paw or not, it doesn't help with controlling the object. Not with me."
She let her paw fall back to ground, looking at her stone with a slightly sad expression as she made it circle around Kriz's stone.

Meanwhile, Anubris had slowed down a bit. He turned to look back and noticed how far he had ran from Inari and Kriz.
He then looked around and slided into a stop as he noticed some lions nearby. He walked closer, noticing they were part of the group. The first one he recognized was Mesi, then he noticed Fire.
Slowly he walked to them.
"Hello there" he said with a slight smile. "You getting up to much at the moment?"

"After some time,Pyro got bored"."Standing all along on Fire shoulders,he started to fly away,in the air"."After some time,he ralized hes really high,and he decided to look after Kriz or Inari or anybody else"."Some time later,whille flying,he saw a two figures and decided to land to check out it"."And yes he was right...those were Inari and Kriz"."Not wanting to fright them or something like that,Pyro turned into his lion form and step out,saying hello to both of them".

[Kirsui]

Inari had a desperate expression on her face.
"No... You don't understand..." she said, looking at her stone.
"We all are unique... We all are different... Moving objects is a very unique ability, I've seen only 10 of us over the years I've lived. And with every one of them... The ability was different."

She let her head fall, looking at the ground for a moment before turning to look at Kriz.
"I... I can not move any object with my paw" she said. "I do not feel the energy like that. It is all inside me, inside my mind."
She looked at her stone again, her eyes still glowing.
"I have tried to find another one with this ability to move objects, a person who could teach me to get better. But every one I've met has had some difference to my power. None of them was able to help me."

She took a deep breath.
"I... I've been taught by several lions and lionesses, even one leopard. Many years I spent with them and-"

She suddenly gasped. Her eyes widened and she let her stone fall down. Her eyes stopped glowing as she let her consentration fall.
Oh god... What did I say?!
Inari turned to look at Kriz. Would he realize what she had just said?
Would he discover her another ability from what slipped out from her mouth?

Inari saw movement from her eyecorner. She saw a bird land, and turn into a lion. She recognized it was Pyro, who walked to them and greeted them. She hoped he hadn't seen her with glowing eyes, and that he hadn't heard what she had said. Slowly, Inari nodded her head as a greeting to Pyro.
So her only problem at the moment was... Would Kriz understand her secret?

Walking towards them,Pyro was happy,to see his friends finally.He putted his paws,one after another,still smiling.He was getting closer...and closer...Suddenly something hitted Pyro.He just flee trough the air,in afwull pain,screaming.No,he wasnt screaming,he just passed out.After flying some meters,he landed on the rock,which cuts his skin,making it bleed.He didnt felt anything,he just passed out after he get blow,and now he was in dreams,far away.He then starts getting all white,getting a big blow of pain.And yet his blood was draining from him,and he needed instantly someones help.But he didnt felt anything.He was just far away,far away in his dreams.And yet,even this was a big blow for him,he wasnt dying.No...the rocks did cut him,some of his skin,and yes he was really bleeding,but he was not dying.He just needed a help,from his friends.He passed out,he didnt know what happend.He was lying there,not moving,not knowing where is he,passed out.The blood was still bleeding,but not much,he was alive,he was breathing.

Nishati was standing with Fire when everything went black. She was getting a vision. She saw someone flying through the air then hit a rock. Blood was dripping down his fur. Suddenly her surroundings came back. "Pyro!!!" She yelled out and started running in the direction she last saw him. She found him lieing on a rock. She started licking the blood off. "Fire!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled out to her friend before she made a vine wrap around one of his front legs pulling him towards her and Pyro.

[Kirsui]

Inari was relieved that Kriz hadn't understood her secret.
Then her relieved expression turned into a worried one when Pyro suddenly flew backwards.
"Kriz!" she whispered on a shocked voice. "Did you do that?"

Anubris heard the call of Nishati, only faintly, but still. Then he saw how a vine started pulling Fire towards the direction where Nishati's shout was heard.
He turned to look and then realized it was the direction where he had left Inari with Kriz.
What if something had happened to Inari? He was her Guardian!
In worry, Anubris started running.

Inari walked to Pyro and Nishati. She lowered her head to take a look at Pyro's wounds.
"They're not deep" she said on a slightly relieved tone of voice.
"He should be ok. But as soon as he wakes up, he'll propably feeel a bit dizzy and such."

Inari saw movement in the distance. It moved fast.
Anubris... she thought.
The cheetah reached them soon and stopped beside Inari. As soon as he saw she was ok he turned to look at Pyro.
"What happened to him?" he asked.
Inari did not reply.
"We need some water to clean his wounds" she finally said, thinking for a moment.
"Was there someone in the group who could create water?"

[Jenna]

Zuri's lean body came upon this strange group, all of them huddled around one. He seemed badly hurt. She moved forward, her eyes glinting mildly in the light. She went to open her mouth but another's voice interrupted hers.
"ZURI!"
Not waiting to see the other come to her side, she turned again to the doubtless wondering creatures. She grinned.
"Hello, I'm Zuri."
Her voice was soft and gentle.
"Is he-"
She was cut off by a second female behind her. The second was much like the first, but with steely grey eyes.
"Zuri, you don't know them! You can't trust them! Remember what happened last-"
"Oh hush."
Zuri turned to her companion then back to the group.
"Talu, look, one of them is hurt...."
"Yes, but-"
"Well, we can't just leave them! What if they need help?!"
"But I-"
"Well, introduce yourself if you're going to argue!"
The second turned to the group, an untrusting, unshameful glare upon her face.
"I'm Talu..."
She spoke in a barely audible grumble. Zuri trotted over and licked her cheek quickly, then returned to the group, leaving the first alone.
"So, do you need any help?"

[Kirsui]

Inari looked at these two new lionesses who had come to the group. She looked at Anubris from her eyecorner and saw that he was as surprised as she was.
Inari had seen blue lions or lionesses before, but it had been a long time ago. She had thought there were none of them left anymore.

"Hello there" Inari said politely to Zuri and Talu.
"I'm called Inari, and this", she said pointing at Anubris, "is my Guardian Anubris."
The cheetah nodded slightly as a greeting.
"And yes, we would need some help for Pyro here."
She sighed slightly.
"We would need water to clean up his wounds, but... There's none nearby. Or atleast I haven't seen any."
Inari went silent, looking at the two blue lionesses with a rather mysterious look in her eyes.

Mesi jumped to where everyone seemed to be running. "Did someone mention the need of water??" She asked and smiled. She then realized why they needed water. "Oh my!" She said staring down at Pyro. "How did this happen exactly??" She asked curiously.

[Kirsui]

"Well..." Inari started explaining. "Kriz was showing me how he moves objects and well... Pyro surprised him by approaching him from behind."
Inari didn't explain why Kriz had been showing those things to her, it was nothing what the others should be aware of.

Just then Anubris came closer to whisper in Inari's ear.
"My Lady... How about those two new lionesses?" he asked. "Is it wise to let them know about our powers?"
Inari shrugged as a reply. But from what she saw, these Talu and Zuri wouldn't 'freak out'. They were blue, so a group with odd powers shouldn't be too much for them.

[Fire]

Fire was slowly getting dragged by the vine while trying to regain his sense of surrounding. The pounding in his head was immense and all he wanted was some water. Water was something that he actually desperately wanted. The sand was really gritty in his throat and he wanted nothing more than to wash it down. When he got placed beside Rok, he tried to speak, but all he got was a very harsh and moisture-deprived voice, folowed by a cough that came up with blood. The blood was probably from the rock that smacked against his head before and the sand rubbing up against his throat. It didn't look pretty at all... And he was now weakly clawing at the ground just barely in front of Mesi, not reaching her but just giving her a sign that he needed something... anything... to bring him out of this wretched state.

Nishati saw Fire cough up blood. "Oh dear! You guys take care of pyro.." She said as she walked up to Fire are you alright?? Here have some water!" She said as she tugged on Mesi's tail.

Mesi turned around as she felt a slight tug on her tail. She saw Nishati speaking to Fire. She walked up to them. "You needed something??" She asked curiously.

Nishati smiled. "Yes please Mesi.. could we have some water?" She asked as she waved her paw making a bowl made out of leaves. "Put it in here please." She said and turned to Fire. "What happened?" She asked worriedly.

Mesi poured some water into the bowl and moved it in front of her and nodded so that he could have a drink. She then turned around and walked back to Pyro.

[Fire]

When he saw the bowl of leaves being made and the water being poured into the bowl, Fire cough once before giving a weak smile, nuzzling his nose into the bowl to lap softly at the water, the feel of the water trickling down his throat like paradise to his senses. When he gathered enoguh water into his mouth after he drank, he started spitting out gobs of wet sand onto the ground, still a little weak from exhaustion, but was much better than before. He drank some more water before speaking in a that still harsh tone. "I caught in a massive sandstorm out of nowhere, Nishati... I know that this wasn't normal because we live in a savannah and the desert here isn't for several days travel... I only have one question."

He was now facing the group. "Who started it?...."

"Well it wasn't me!! I don't know how to make sandstorms!" Nishati announced.

"Neither do i.." Mesi added on.

Anubris lifted his head a bit as he looked at Fire.
"I do have an ability to control the winds" he said.
"But I did not make that sandstorm you told about. I know better than that. Playing around with winds is a difficult thing to do, but I do not let a wind I make blow freely. I keep them under my control, making them to affect only the things I want."
He sighed slightly.
"But... Of course.. You don't have to believe me."

After saying this, the cheetah walked a bit away from the others and sat down on a rock. He didn't pay any attention to the group anymore, only to the surrounding areas.
Inari looked at him from her eyecorner and shook slightly her head. She did not say anything, it was up to the others if they choose to believe Anu or not.

[Fire]

Fire nodded his head at the responses that were given to him. "I expected as much. Even though you may not think that you have caused, ignorance is bliss... I'm sorry if I'm starting to sound like the boulder in the waterhole, but... I think that the storm wasn't done on purpose." He spits some more sand, a tinge of redness showing from the blood earlier.

"With our powers that we don't know who gave them to us, they can be something that we can control... And things that we thought we could control.. Kriz's example displays it well.. Even though it was something that Kriz did by accident and that 'it wasn't strong at all', it knocked Pyro out cold... And it could get serious if we hurt someone that is innocent and isn't aware of out abilities... I just want to raise awareness of that."

He turned his head to Kriz when he was giving the slap to Pyro. He had had enough of him doing that to Pyro. It was one thing to give a person a light smack to get them back into reality. But, Kriz had already tried to awake Pyro with no success. All Pryo needed was rest at the moment. "Kriz... Lay off.. He needs rest, not someone hitting him to wake him up with the ability in that of enhanced strength..."

Slowly walking over to Anu, he gives her a gentle nuzzle and says in a gentle voice "It wasn't your fault. Just be a little more careful next time... I know that a sandstorm doesn't just appear out of nowhere. If it did, I'd have to eat grass for a week." He chucled to himself and looked at Anu with a smile.

Anubris looked at Fire. His eyes were flashing.
"Then you propably might want to start eating grass" he said coldly.
"As I already said... I did not cause that sandstorm!" he said, now on an angry tone of voice.
"My ability is related on moving the air itself, keeping the ground untouched. No small objects - like sand - will ever be lifted on air if I do not want that to happen."
His eyes narrowed.
"And besides... Who do you think you are, telling me how to control my ability? What do you know about making up a wind that affects only a certain object and leaves the others untouched? Have you ever even tried it? I assume not, so back off!"

At that point Inari had had enough.
"Stop it Anu!" she said on a strict tone of voice as she stood up.
The cheetah turned to look at her with a blank expression. They glared at eachother, looking like they could put up a fight at any moment.

[Fire]

((O.O... Whoops. XD))

Fire was starting to fell the pressure of the backfire that was occuring during his talk with the group building up inside of him. It was one thing for one lion to react to you, but two of them at the same time made it a little difficult. "I didn't say that, Anu..."

Fire didn't have a chance to respond again, Inari halted the conversation right there with her decleration to Anubris. It made Fire uneasy to watch the two give each other the daggers with their eyes. He kinda knew what Anubris was capable of, but Inari was a whole new situation. He slowly walked inbetween the two in heated conflict, not turning his body to one side as a symbolic sign that he was on no one's side. "Both of you... Enough.. There will be no fighting within the group..."

[Kirsui]

Anubris lifted an eyebrow to Fire when he stepped between him and Inari. But his face turned blank rather quickly. He watched Kriz for a moment, then turned his attention back to Inari.

He knew what Inari was capable of. He knew that if there was a fight between them, they both had a good chanse to win. But also, he knew that inari was sort of weaker than he was.
No, Anubris... the cheetah thought. You are her Guardian. Don't put up a fight with her.

Anubris said nothing, he just turned and walked away from the group. He kept walking for a good while, so that he couldn't hear what the group was talking about. Then, with a sigh he sat down, turning to look up at the sky and seeing it was becoming dark. The sun was setting, and soon one would be able to see the stars.
Anubris sighed again and made up a small wind, making it swirl around him, causing the grass sway slightly. He listened as the wind and the grass made up their song, forgetting momentarily everything that was related to the group.

Inari sighed as Anubris walked away. She shook her head and sat down, looking up to the sky as the sun began to set. The grey lioness curled her tail around her paws and started playing around with some light blue fur on her tailtuft. She seemed to fall into her thoughts, not really noticing what others were doing.

[Fire]

As Inari and Anubris dispersed to their own worlds, he focused his attention to Kriz, keeping a calm voice as he spoke. In the back of his mind, he wanted to positively explode in front of Kriz. But, that wouldn't be responsible of him and it would just create more tension between the group.

"I admit, I was the one that started the conversation, but I did not start the fight between Anubris and Inari... The emotions just ran high in the conversation and it was maybe all of our faults... And as for your comment about me being the leader... I did not ask you to come here... You just showed up with Nishati, myself, and the rest of the group... At least Anubris, Inari, Pryo and Mesi are sensible enough to realize that what I said is true.... What if that wasn't Pyro, Kriz?.. What if that was a lioness?.. A cub, for christ's sake!..." By now, his teeth were almost clenching from trying not to explode in front of Kriz. This was a very bad sign since his ability to control fire got a little uncontrollable when he was angry. His eyes started growing flames deep within them and they were invisible to the naked eye.

[Kirsui]

Inari turned to look over her shoulder.
"Fire, calm down" she said on a calm tone of voice.
"We can not solve any problems by being mad at eachother. By putting up a fight we will only manage to make more problems. One thing leads to another, I have seen lots of arquments evolve into a fight, even a war from time to time."

Inari's eyes narrowed slightly as she thought.
"I am sorry if I sound like well... annoying at the moment" she said. "But I would rather not see a fight which would include using our special abilities."
Yes, she was aware that just a moment ago it had seemed that she and Anubris could put up a fight. However, from Inari's opinion, everything that happened between her and Anubris was nothing the others should be concerned of.

[Fire]

Fire heard Inari's voice and then for some reason, it made him calom down just a little, amazing as that was for Fire's state of mind. She was also right as well. Putting his thoughts to better himself and control himself, he just took a deep breath and nodded towards Inari in agreement. But, when Kriz shouted to challenge him, he just turned his head to him and shook his head.

"I agree with Inari.. Fighting is not something that we should be doing at the moment.. And I am sorry as well for even bringing the whole thing up..." He sighed slightly.

When Kriz started yelling at Fire Nishati stood infront of Fire and growled at Kriz before walking away. "I'm starting to not like this group Fire.." She whispered to him.

Meanwhile, while everyone was fighting, Mesi grabbed the leaf bowl that Nishati had made and filled it with water and put it next to Pyro. She wasn't sure if she should try pouring it into his mouth or just leave it until he, hopefully, wakes up.

[Fire]

Fire turned his head over to Nishati and whispered back to her. "Well.. I don't mind Anubris, Inari and Pyro.. It's just Kriz... He's so aggressive... I think you and I need to be alone for a moment to make him realize that he is not helping us at all..."
