Sorry, but I just noticed something that happened in the role play. Apparently there's a bit of confusion right now as to where characters belong. May I point out that if you're unsure, check the character list, ok? Now the confusion has lead to the fact that Cova is talking with Femi, and they are in different prides. This thing has to be sorted out before anyone is going to post in the RP. My suggestion is that I'll delete Cova's post where her char talks to Femi, and then I could edit Femi's post and remove the part where her character is talking with Cova. I think this is the easiest way of sorting this one out, but I'll wait for a few opinions/comments before actually doing this. As for the future, this thread can be used if problems in the RP come up.  ~ Kirsui |

I'll take care of this one, Kir. ^^ We'd like to think not because as TLKGO's role is... "To make sure everyone is involved in the wonderful process that is 'role-playing'". But, as probably experienced role-players or even the novice ones have noticed, too many people in one storyline gets extremely confusing to figure out where everyone is or what everyone is doing. The reason that the RP is seemingly full is that we want to prevent this from happening. The Battle RP was a good example of this... There were so many storylines, it was like a Steven King novel with no guidelines... It's not to exclude anyone from the RP. It's just making it equal for everyone. And for those that want to join, but are not sure where to start, the mods would be more than happy to help! After all, it's what they're there for. |

Well. thanks for that. But i ask because although the Rp is active. It could be even more so. I think if you look around the Rp's there is more players active in some than there are in here. Even though this list is full....not all the players on that list are being used..if you see what i mean.

One of the main reasons that they are not being used is because the players have either dropped off the face of the earth or they have left TLKGO. The thing we want to avoid is people joining up, but not responding or keeping up like they should.

Also, this is being discussed between mods in the mods den. If there are characters that are un-active then people can replace them, but i think if we get a few more added to the list this will be full.

I wouldn't mind really, I thought it was a good RP, I think the main issue was that most of the main people in it became busy etc or just left the forum, which was a bit of a shame really.
Or what about instead of reviving it (since some people might be missing or not interested) that a new RP is made of it, like maybe based a generation or so in the future. We could make up some sort of major event that supposedly happened or something and the new RP could be the new generations dealing with the situation NOW, and even if some of the people from the old version want to have their characters in it as old members of the prides or something like that?
Just an idea really.

One major change could be a peace between Jahina and Otana prides. I remember Tef joining Jahina again to help Gargoroth bring peace between the prides since she had friends in both sides, so perhaps they managed to do exactly that and form an alliance, or even unite the prides?
That's one idea if a time jump would be what we want to do.

About the whole peace thing...I think that might be hard to explain, seeing how when we left off...everyone had just found out that Legacy was actually alive (OMG run!). That'd be a tricky situation to just bypass...I don't think Legacy would be all right with a peace treaty XD
But if this IS brought back to life, there definitely needs to be an Otana leader. We never really even had one.
But as for just reviving it, the only person missing would be Fire...since it was just him, me, Kirsui, Safila and Pulsar keeping it going. And I know he still comes around to post in Adol. Ages (correct?). I'd be for reviving it, making up a huuge summary for the new players (which needed/needs to be done anyhow). It was getting really good before everyone got busy. Lots of tension and drama.
But like I said, whatever is decided, I'll go with it.

Surely not all the pride members are happy to see they are at peace with their most hated enemy......? So like you said, a fragile peace would most likely work better than throwing in a third pride to confuse the story line even more. :'D Lor: Hm, yea, I see what you mean with where we left. So we'd basically need to figure out what to do with Legacy. Maybe if he's gone hiding to gather strength? He WAS rather badly injured, so who says he's easy to find? Pulsar might have better suggestions, Legacy is his character after all...... And yes, we definitely need a leader for Otana. Unless they're like... a totally unrealistic democratic pride where a pride council decides of all things instead of the leader (joking! XD). I could take the position of the pride leader myself, but seeing what characters I played when the RP fell silent, and knowing I'd most likely like to continue playing those two characters... *shrug* I know Tef doesn't wants to become a pride leader, she stated that in the RP if I remember right. And no one in their right mind wants Kata to lead their pride LOL. I'll go poke Fire when I see him on-line on MSN. *nods* If he doesn't want to jump back in to this RP if we revive it we can try plan something to go around his character. |

We could work on that suggestion if we make a time jump happen. So Basically we should probably decide if we'll do a time jump or continue from where we left with the RP? And if a time jump is what we'll do we'd need to figure also how long time we're jumping. A brief time, meaning a few weeks or so (the prides would still be at war though peace could be worked on between them... It'd be fun to try play the peace negotiations too btw, Tef would make a good negotiator XD), or a longer time period, so that the prides could have figured out the peace and would now be plagued by characters who want to heat up the war again. Suggestion to go around Fire's character: Katakasha originally came to the area in search for Fire and Akida. Akida left already, so now it's only Fire she's after. We could assume Fire would have left so that he'd draw Kata's attention away from the two prides. That way Fire's character would still be alive and if he wanted he could always jump back in. =3 |

Hmmm, that idea for Fire's characters sounds like a good one, i'll second that I guess, since he's too busy etc to be able to RP.
As for the time jump, it's a hard choice which one to make, with Fire out of it, the crew is very little in members, like 3-4 of us.
I'd be up for either a small or big time jump really, it's all good to me.
Remember that if we make a big time jump and set a story down of what happened etc during that time, we could then immediately open it up to new members.
If we only did a small time jump, might be a bit iffy letting new ones in, though it probably could be done.
There's a good few choices that could be made, tis a hard choice.
