Misteecas ears pricked up trying to catch what Na'gasha was saying to Tefnut but all that reached her was.. "Very soon... you should prepare yourself.."

we should prepare ourselves..what for, for goodness sake, he could let us in on a bit more information..geez

Again staring up at the sky Misty stared hard, she couldn't see anything, yet... she was sure she could hear something, she just wasn't sure what, and if she was the only one. Looking behind her again, she squinted trying to see further back into the maze. wonder where Santiago got to, didn't pass us, haven't heard any whoosie screams, so he's got to be there somewhere

' Umm... anyone.. can you hear that noise ?, please tell me it's not just my ears "

Santiago quietly padded alongside of Vanessa as the two followed the rest of the group towards the mouth of the cave. As they drew closer, the lions quickly hid behind a large boulder and let the others make their way far enough out of the cave so that nobody would notice as they snuck out and went their own way. That was the plan.

Unfortunately Vanessa ended up turning the tables on Santiago when she pinned him to the ground and put a paw to his neck in an attempt to deprive him of air.

"I've been too long without a nice meal and you seem like you will provide me and my friends with enough food to last a long time," The lioness replied with a malicious smile as a group of lions and lionesses began to close in on her and Santiago from all sides leaving the lion helpless.

"You set me up!" Santiago managed to call out in an accusatory tone as the group began to get closer and closer to him while Vanessa pushed down on his neck harder, further choking him.

"Of course I did. How do you think I get my food? I charm it while it's still alive," Vanessa replied with a smirk as Santiago let out a roar and threw the lioness off of him. He quickly scrambled to his feet as he turned and looked around for any escape route possible.

"Kill him!" Vanessa called out as the rest of the group prepared to pounce the lion who let out an even louder roar and jumped over one of the lionesses before taking off towards the exit. Vanessa frowned as she looked to her subjects who had yet to give chase.

"Well what are you waiting for? Get him!" She demanded as the remaining lions and lionesses nodded and bolted out of the labyrinth.

Na'gasha stopped hearing noises behind them, it sounded like that lion.. he sighed and said "don't move" to the girls and the cub.. not because he did't think they could't fight, but because he thought the cub could't defend itself... like a flash he was gone.

Up ahead was indeed that lion that had been with the others, it seemed this lion was indeed very foolish and it was about to cost him, seemingly having tried to run from them, it had failed and this pack of savages was surrounding the lion.. this Santiago. There was a moment, like a soaring of a angel of death as Na'gasha soared through the air apparently from nowhere followed a heavy thud and i spine tingling sound of bone breaking and snapping as his massive frame landed on one lioness, killing her outright, probably not even knowing what hit her.

The next moment his jaws had closed on a close by lioness's neck hualing of off her feet and shaking viciously before letting the body fly into the side of the wall, the body crumpled to the ground, the neck snapped. Na'gasha surveyed the scene of the remaining lionesses and of the foolish lion, he was twice their size and considerably stronger, they would be fools to challenge him given how quickly he had just dispatched two of their number.

Mistys eyes widened in surprise at how fast Na'gasha had moved, all that size yet he was very agile. Listening to the noises raised her curiosity, turning to Liam and Tefnut with a smirk.

"Well don't know about you, but I'm going for a look see, cause you know what ? I bet it's Santiago and his 'ladyfriend' and I do use that term loosely, I'm sure he's got himself into another tricky situation of his own making...as usual."

Looking at Tefnut, Misty laughed out loud.. "You know its gonna be him Tef, just know it."

Not waiting any longer, Misty turned and quietly retraced her steps. She knew she was getting closer as the sound of bones and flesh breaking was getting louder. Stopping as she heard some more grunts, the lioness just stood there in the middle of the passage, waiting to see what was going to happen next .

[Liam]

Liam watched as the large liger jumped and shuddered at the sound. Even at this distance, the sickening sound of a bone breaking was enough to make his stomach turn. He turned to look at Misty and Tef, and couldn't help but laugh softly at the comment Misty made. Even for a cub, he was able to figure things like this, but he hadn't thought this indepth into situations...not since that dream when they were resting.

He was nervous as to how that dream affected him, but he was somewhat glad for the ability to retain knowledge like this. Things keep getting hectic around here. As you can guess from that moron's actions, not everyone is trustworthy. I get it, but that doesn't mean I can't trust Tef and Misty. Liam thought with his inner friend, once again in an arguement.

He laughed softly at Misty's comment on Santiago and his 'Lady friend', although he stayed silent. He didn't know how to feel for Santiago's predicament, as the group tried so many times to keep Santiago within their ranks, yet being as stubborn as a mule, Santiago had left with that other lioness, and he could imagine where that got him.

"Holy..." Santiago was left speechless as he looked away from Vanessa's snarling face, only to see Na'gasha appear out of nowhere and ram right into one of the other lionesses. The sound of the bones cracking was enough to send shivers up his spine as Vanessa also looked over to Na'gasha and watched as he took out another lioness.

Vanessa got off of Santiago and rushed at Na'gasha with her fangs bared as her remaining pride members turned and rushed at their new enemy as well. Battered, bruised, and bleeding, Santiago managed to get to his feet and make his way towards safety at a moderate rate--his leg got broken in the altercation--hoping that the others lions and lionesses wouldn't make much of his absence.

"Wow, what is this the fifth time in your life? You got a real slow learning curve when it comes to the females," The lion scolded himself as his red mane had a few hints of blood from a cut that he had received on his neck. His muzzle was bleeding from a scratch wound and his right eye was black. He also had another scratch across his chest.
