I thought about making a new thread to discuss news and thoughts about Jon Favreau's upcoming reimagining of The Lion King

Today Favreau himself confirmed that James Earl Jones will be returning as Mufasa!! which I'm really pleased to hear. No one can do it better than him, definitely!

He also revealed the new voice actor for Adult Simba, which is Donald Glover! I think he's a very, very good choice

Perhaps there'll be more casting news during the next few weeks, and maybe even a release date, who knows?
