The Okapi would arrive later than just about everyone of the lions at least. "A warthog did this?!" He'd ask around as his body grew and shrunk with his breaths and exhales. It didn't do well for the good morning plan concocted earlier. It was fairly hard to wish someone who was unconscious a good morning. His face was a mixture of both shock and concern with what had just happened.
The next happening was probably a mixture of surprise and slight insult. Stripey? Really? Is that what he was being called? He was at some level grateful given his running, returning Figgy's gesture with a slight bow of his own. Though that name...it was rather grating to him. Not enough to say no to free food. Maybe it would even help calm Zabuni down when he found the traveling pair. This was of course his next course of action as Zabuni was probably the secondary qualified in a way to deal with a situation like this. Not as well as Atiya herself but it would go a long way to beginning a build up if it worked.
Elsewhere, Zabuni and Mlezi were casually wandering about. They had wandered a bit farther than at least Zabuni wanted too but the cave itself wasn't an impossible distance.
"I think we should go back. What if they end up needing us?" She'd ponder. "Need us for what?" Mlezi would query. "Well, regrouping at the cave...to see what happened? What if someone is hurt?" "We should take the time to eat first and then we can see about returning to help. Besides we agreed to find food first for all of us." "No, that's what you agreed upon Mlezi." "Well then you're free to go back if you wish." "Come on Mlezi...you're the one who said we shouldn't try to make them angry." "Pray tell why would they be angry at us for foraging?" "Because we're doing it in the middle of an emergency." "How do you know this is an emergency." "You heard those sounds just as well I did." "The thunder may make equally imposing sounds, yet it alone does not carry the signs of the omen." "Then what about the cry before the sound?..."
Continuing on for a few more moments, Mlezi would agree to return with Zabuni as the pair began to travel back the way they came as Kupanuliwa remained charging headfirst into grasses to find them. With him, dragging one of the pales of grass with him.

OOC : no problem, also maybe you should look in the bag closely.
It was a nice breezy day in the savannah as figgy left the cave. The land lay flat but small hills defied the landscape here and there.Northwards is a little bazaar set up near the watering hole, of course hunting near it is a crime. However many goods can be bought there for coins and won't take too long as its only 4 hours away. There is a word of a forest many miles North-NorthEast of the savannah where the monkeys dwell and can create many useful things. There also is a gorge outside that separates the savannah and the forest there. Many use it for ambushes.
However, birds seem to holler about a river somewhere south and mountains to the east.
Since the battle there are few close enough to hunt, there is a elephant possibly 100 feet to the east, a nimble zebra to the west possibly 45 feet away and some hares northward about 30 feet away eating happily on grass

Shade, opened her eyes, it was dark, all around her was dark, she didn't see anything or anyone, then past memories started to show themselves, her parents, brothers, but then the memory when they where killd, when that rogues took her away from her family, Shade tensed her claws in the reality, Shade then sawherself covered in blood, causing chaos in the Pridelands, plotting with rogues to kill the King, ''NO! I'M NOT LIKE HIM, I'M NOT LIKE HIM!'' then, Akarius, the rogue that stole her from her family and stole their lifes, she was talking in real life, Shade wake up, breathing and sweating,''Thank it was just a dream..'' Shade thought.
She then got up and said ''I did that all because, we are a team...'' she muttered.

Soon enough the three leaf eaters of the group would meet again in the grasses. Zabuni having an expression of some surprise and Mlezi himself squinting as to make sure that his eyes were not playing tricks on him.
"What do you guys think?" Kupanuliwa jested as he rolled the bale of grasses and vines around briefly. "How did you do that?" Zabuni would ask, sniffing at it and inching somewhat closer to the bale. "Oh I didn't do it. Figgy did." He would respond. "The Lion did this?" Mlezi would question. "Sure did. Used a big of some of the magic making its way about the lands." the okapi would reply as he nudged it towards the pair. "Is there any more?" would ask Zabuni. "There are a few more near the cave. We have little time to lose. Shade looks to have been injured rather greatly." the Okapi would clarify as he began to pick up the bale again. "Very well," confessed Mlezi, "If there is food near the cave AND there is a situation requiring attention then perhaps it would simply be most logical to return."
Zabuni didn't need further encouraging. She'd almost lead the group in a way as they went about returning to the cave that had been struck. Perhaps maybe she could help? Would lions even accept help from a hare? Would help even be needed by the time they arrived back? So many questions, so many potential answers and yet seemingly so little time as they traveled back. Their eyes and ears open nonetheless. They couldn't imagine being alone out here that's for sure.

Seeing only one zebra and one elephant made Figgy suspicious. What if they had been kicked out of herds for using magic? Plus, they were all standing around so close to him, as if he didn't exist! Figgy wasn't the most subtle of lions and he was used to animals scattering from him. So with a sigh he headed to the nearest hill to get a better view and look for more prey. Hills weren't his favourite thing either. By the time he got to the top he was feeling breathless. But he could certainly see better from up here. He looked around for herds, or something that looked like an easy, non-fireball throwing prey.

As figgy looked for easier prey, he spotted vultures flying around in a circle. Something is near death northeast of his location. With the number of vultures circling the air the animal must be big.

Atiya groaned once she heard the news of what nearly collapsed the cave. "So you two managed to pick a fight with a warthog that had magic...? Good Netjer, what a bad start to the day. At least everyone should be alright..." She bumped the top of her head against Shade's in a very feline fashion, signifying that she was one of her own. Shade had said something to herself, but given the fact that Atiya couldn't hear it, she found it best not to ask. "How're you holding up, Shade? If need be, I'm sure Sekhmet wouldn't mind me sharing more mercy".
As Figgy announced his endeavors to gather something to eat, Atiya realized her own need to feed. She'd offered much of the blood and meat of her last catch to her patron goddess the night before, catching up on more elaborate sacrifices she'd been holding off on due to her travels. Besides, she felt she'd sent Anubis enough wayward souls in recent days from hunting alone. That said, holding off on supper was enough to make her plenty hungry. She waved Figgy off as he left, still a bit stunned from the mortal combat occurring between her allies, and feeling a tad guilty she hadn't been there to lend some aid. Paying attention to the direction he left in, she'd make mental note to give him about ten, maybe fifteen minutes of hunting alone before she'd offer to help. The least she could do, right?
But now she was almost alone; the herbivores meeting in the grass, Figgy off catching a bite, and a presumably weakened Shade her only company. And she was starved.
Curiosity getting the better of her from a cursory glance around, Atiya did happen upon the bag that the warthog had dropped. "Hmm? Had this been here before?" She canted her head, sniffling the air around it. "Hmmm... almost smells a bit burnt, but... goodness, free meat?" She peered about. The bag seemed forlorn, and feeling a bit hesitant to find prey, she decided to take the scavenger's route and open the bag, ready to get some breakfast. After all, finder's keepers, right?

As atiya opened the bag, the smell of meat waved in the air. Haunches of unknown origin lined the bag. Maybe they were safe to eat? Maybe not? Who knows.
The bag is tannish with an interesting square pattern surrounding the bottom. It seems to fit around the wearer by a large loop that seems to cross the wearers body. The meat is put in a very odd way and seeing that a warthog is carrying meat is mighty suspicious.
Now a question rises in atiya's mind, should she delve further in the bag? Keep the bag? Keep the meat? Or leave the bag alone?

The trio would arrive in unison after a small trip through the grasses. The new bales of hay coming into view, much to their relief. It looked as if Figgy had gone out to hunt elsewhere, though the other two lionesses remained nearby. The group was cautious as to not make any sudden moves. They would approach calmly and with coordination as they began to nibble and bite on the nearby bales.
"Do you think we're being a bit rude?" Zabuni would question as her cheecks twitched about with food. "How do you figure?" Mlezi would respond, eating indifferently. "Well I mean, none of them have had breakfast yet..and we're kind of stuffing our faces in front of them?" She'd clarify. "Good point. Perhaps take this back into some of the taller grasses." came a brief response from Kupanuliwa. "Maybe I'll check on Shade first...I guess just to see if she's ok maybe." The hare would add. "Do what you need to, we'll save your bale" Kupanuliwa assured her.
As the two larger herbivores dragged off the bales and themselves from sight to feast, the hare would hope closer over to the pair of lionesses with caution. "Is everything alright? Shade?" she'd question as she gave a quick survey to check over for any injuries or anything really. Atiya would likely have gotten just about everything as she was far more medicinally versed but one could never be too sure.

Figgy started walking towards the vultures, slowly, keeping an eye out. Behind him, near the others, the pile of bones and vines and leaves that is is elephant construct comes to life and starts following.

The construct follows figgy. It doesn't help but it does make hunting harder as a giant bone elephant is hard to miss.

As figgy wanders about the bones silently walked behind him, it seems to be pointing its trunk in front of you. Maybe it found something? The buzzards overhead are still circling something, near the elephant's trunk direction.
(Ooc hey atiya please pick a choice for the bag, i cant say whats in it until you answer.)

Atiya thought it through as she opened the bag, trying to sense what kind of meat was within. It was mysterious that a warthog had a sack of meat, indeed, and she felt it couldn't be trusted. Perhaps he was some sort of flesh merchant trying to peddle carrion he'd come across or, worse yet, had rent himself. She wasn't entirely sure how much meat warthogs ate outside of insects, and would take her time trying to process the meat itself through scent. Still unsure, she grit her teeth. Only one way to find out. Gingerly her barbed tongue slipped past her dark lips, lapping slowly and meticulously at any of the more rare-cooked portions of the meat, if she could find any.

Shade glanced at the hare and said ''Yeah, i'm okay, i don't need help, thanks'' she say a bit cold, she didn't want to look so weak infront of other, Shade looked at a Atiya then to Figgy and said ''Should we keep going?' Her tone as always deep and dark, like her heart had changed to it.

"O-Ok" Zabuni would respond as her nose twitched. The rabbit didn't see much of a need to continue questioning if unwanted. She was just there to make sure everything was alright and apparently everything was. Not wanting to push the issue she simply began hopping casually away, taking care not to make any sudden moves or noises that were too loud to rejoin her herbivorous companions in the eating of their breakfast and the tasty tasty bales which had been assembled earlier.

Atiya licked past the unknown meats until she reached something different in texture. She dabbed at the mysterious object, using her tongue to figure out the shape and then finally pulling out of the bag. It is a pale white mask with beady black eyes and as Atiya looked into the eyes, a sense of agony filled her mind and thoughts.Soon the eyes swirl around a black vortex of magic. It does look valuable if sold. Should you wear it or sell it?
There also seems to be a key attached to the mask and a note, however, it seems to be written in a different language. However, with closer inspection, it seems to be written in peck as there is white powder splotches on the paper. Maybe you can find a bird that will translate?
There also is a signature at the bottom of the letter, a name you have never heard of until now...signed Grey.
(ooc also i wanted to say that some items are from d&d and other items are created on Reddit or home brewery, so certain items may sound familiar)

As the others stay near the cave, the wind shifts direction and now blows west. A group of zebras can be heard galloping away. Figgy has trouble hunting until he finally finds a big buffalo fast asleep. It looks to be alone. The dead elephant seems to keep its distance so figgy can now concentrate on getting food.

Shade's injury seems to be rather different . Where the missle landed it seems to have caused bumps to arise on the wound. The bumps look stable for now but does not look normal.maybe a reaction? The medicine has seemed to slow whatever it is down, maybe there is something you can get to heal it completely?

The herbivores remained in the cave , though heavily damaged, it is still repairable but the supplies needed would be in the bazaar. However, the trip isnt all that easy as many ambushes happen on the way there.
Perhaps there is a different way to get there?

Figgy couldn't believe his luck. A sleeping buffalo, in the middle of the day? "Well, I'm not one to complain," he said softly. Very carefully, very slowly, he had the grass roots wrap around the buffalo. Figgy didn't crouch down but walked closer carefully, taking care not to make the grass rustle.

The buffalo didn't move nor hear figgy approach. The buffalo seems to also have a bag with him upon closer observation. However, the bag wasnt important now as figgy was more concerned about getting food to bring back.
There also seems to be two vultures eyeing the ground, probably used to warn something--maybe the buffalo? They dont seem to notice figgy.

Figgy sees the vultures and wonders how he hasn't been noticed. Nevertheless his grassy tendrils are weaving into vines. He has a thought, and then a few vines wrap themselves around him - enough to hide him from direct sight as he creeps to the buffalo's edge. Once there, Figgy checks his vines, making them strong. Carefully he places his jaw over the buffalo's wind pipe and then squeezes - with both his jaw (strength) and his vines (intelligence), making sure, as far as he's able, the animal can't cry out, and that it loses consciousness quickly.
Man, he couldn't wait to eat something.

The buffalo now alerted strugglres against the vines but unsuccessfully cannot break them. The buffalo tries to scream but its muffled as it loses conscious and dies. The vultures seem to hear the muffled sound but are not going to save the buffalo. Instead they fly away
Figgy now stands with a dead buffalo and its bag.
Do you wish to leave the bag?or peer in?

"What's this then?" Figgy said, pawing at the bag. Bags only appeared since magic came to the land, as far as he knew anyway, and he had no real use for them. But he had a use for the buffalo. His elephant construct walked over and stood over him as he considered his options. "The others are going to be SO happy when they see what I've caught," he said. "Might even be impressed too." The bone elephant's leafy head nodded behind him. "But first I better get it back to them..." he considered the construct for a moment. "Don't want to strain a vine. Better lighten the load first!" And with that he bit into the buffalo's stomach, giddy with excitement at the feast he was about to enjoy. But behind him the elephant bones stood protectively over the bag.

Overwhelmed by the eerie feeling the mask gave as she peered into its black eyes, Atiya immediately shut the bag. It did not bode well, but the undecipherable text made her all the more curious. Determined to get to the bottom of this, she carried the closed bag in her jaws in an attempt to figure out the writing. Besides, her mental promise to meet with Figaro came to mind, and feeling she'd wasted enough time, headed off in the direction he was in.
By the time Atiya found Figgy, he was feasting upon a buffalo he'd taken down. Under his skeletal guardian, another mysterious bag was found. Before magic really seeped into the Pridelands, there wasn't much need for such inventions; now they seemed to be a valuable resource for carrying all sorts of items. Hoping to not startle him, Atiya called from afar, "Ah, Figgy! Good catch, my dear". Trotting forward, the adolescent added, "Can't help but notice you'd run into some other beast carrying a bag. The warthog that got away had one... and, well, there's something a bit amiss about what's inside. I couldn't identify the meat inside, but that's just the start -- there's this creepy mask within, and a note in the birds' written language..."

(thanks:))
Figgy had his head in the buffalo's rib cage. As usual when he was eating there was a distant, small part of him saying, 'you really should stop now. The others will need some, and you've had more than enough.' Indeed the pain in his stomach indicated he had had well more than enough. But a larger part was more concerned about the way all the different parts tasted, how clever he was for catching it, and how much he couldn't wait to find something else... until he heard a voice right outside the rib cage and jumped backwards with a scream. The bigger the lion, the bigger the momentum; Figgy toppled over and landed flat on his back. He only stopped screaming when he saw Atiya's face. "Oh, it's you," he said, propping himself up on one elbow and trying to be casual: inspecting his claws and doing his best to ignore his immense furry stomach. 'Well, hopefully it makes me look 'cuddly' and not just 'disgusting,' he thought, then said out loud, "Err... what was that? A mask? Is that some sort of rodent?"
