So, this character was made up just last night for an RP idea we had in the TLKGO skype chat for what is essentially an Anti-Hero campaign. So, if the character seems evil, it's because the RP isn't meant for good protagonists. Just a word of warning, this character's background is very harsh, and not for the faint of heart.
Wapotofu Character Description:
Name: Wapotofu
Nickname: Wapo, “Red Zebra”
Species: Lion
Age: Young Adult (18 Human Years)
Gender: Male
Description:
A white lion with a medium stature, an intentional and artistic pattern of scars covering his front left leg. On his right bicep is a tally mark for every lion he’s killed, six at the start of the Wayward Rogues RP. His face bears four claw marks on the left cheek. His eyes are a dark orange.
Behaviour:
Wapo is a very hardened rogue, having fought many battles and gone through a lot of trouble in his life. He stays mostly cold and unresponsive when relaxing, but when push comes to shove, he goes berserk and brutal, often times overkilling those who challenge him, marking them with calling cards and staining his pristine white fur with their blood, earning him the nickname “Red Cheetah” for the spots of his victim’s blood that will land on him. His main interest is power, and gaining as much of it as he can.
History:
Wapo grew up in what was called a “Cavern Pride”, a pride that through various misfortunes found itself living in a barren cave system in a gorge. His father was the king of the pride, the only one who was allowed to have females. Because of this, his father was very detached from his son, often treating him like a slave instead of a son. His mother wasn’t particularly loving either. Because the lands were so barren, Wapo would have to hunt to feed his pride. His mother would often scold him and call him inadequate for the small hunts he’d bring in. One night, in the middle of his adolescence, he turned rebellious, deciding he’d finally win his father’s respect and his mother’s affection by trespassing into a well respected land to poach. However, while he was poaching, an adolescent spotted him. To avoid getting caught (and losing his father’s respect), he brutally murdered the innocent adolescent, staining his fur with blood for the first time. After dragging the carcass back, he was met with even worse judgement for killing what turned out to be a prince. His father clawed his left cheek and called on the rest of his pride to beat him senseless, which they did. After this, they held him down, and his father carved a tally mark on his left bicep to show everyone his wrongdoing. After being forever banished from the pride, Wapo came back to murder his father, adding his second tally mark in contempt for his father before running off to join a gang of rogues.
