Name: Rakka
Nickname: Rak
Species: Lion
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male


Description: Rakka would be a fair sized lion if he had a few decent meals. Life on his own hasn't treated him well, and he is quite thin and has a few scars. He is a bit taller than usual, though not outrageously so. His fur is tan with cream and brown markings. He has a scraggly and under developed dark brown and cream colored mane. Despite his flea bitten look, he carries himself with confidence and pride. His eyes are amber.

Behavior: Rak is proud and confident. He has never lost sight of the fact that he comes from royalty. His current situation could never change that, and while he has lost his kingdom he has not lost his identity. He is somewhat snarky and has a temper, which he sometimes doesn't control too well. While he doesn't go out of his way to start a fight, he is not above sparring. 

History: Rakka came from a pride far away, where his father was king. His mother had died before he had a chance to remember her. Rakka, as the only heir, was prepared to take over, but he never had his chance. Two brothers usurped his father's throne when he was a nearly a teenager. Rakka was able to escape, but he did so on his own. He has lived life as a wanderer ever since, learning the ways of the world on his own while living meal to meal. Despite this he has never forgotten who he was, and hopes to be again some day. 

OOC History: He is my oldest "internet character", from 2004.

Name: Minarta
Nickname: Mina
Species: Black-backed Jackal
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Female

Description: A small and dainty female jackal, with tiny paws, large ears and a kind face. Her fur is a golden tan with distinctive black and silvery markings on her back and tail. Her underbelly and muzzle are cream colored. Mina’s eyes are a warm goldish green.

Behavior: Mina is very outgoing and sociable. She loves meeting new animals, and is very empathetic, though it sometimes leads her into situations she shouldn’t be in. In addition she is very curious, to a fault in fact. She is a pacifist and hates fighting, but will do so if she absolutely must.

History: Minarta had a turbulent childhood. She and her brothers were huge troublemakers (though Mina mostly was an unwitting accomplice) and Jackals in general weren’t very well liked in her homeland. The land she lived in was constantly wracked with war, and no animal knew peace. Once it ended, her family was exiled as they supported the old regime that had failed. Her mother and father were very loving and stuck together though it all. Mina has a vague idea of returning to her old home and seeing what has happened to it, and perhaps trying to turn it around.
OOC History: Mina was created a long time ago, but only just got her name in 2014. She wasn’t originally a Jackal, but a wolf, and has been adapted to fit here.

Name: Anasij
Nickname: Sij (prefers this)
Species: Bat Eared Fox
Age: Young Adult
Gender: Male
Description: Sij is tall for a bat eared fox, with the signature huge ears and bushy tail. His fur is silvery, with black markings. His eyes are dark brown. His whole appearance could be summed up with the word “awkward”.
Behavior: Sij is reclusive and inventive. He thinks of himself as an innovative thinker, and loves a challenge. He can get frustrated in social situations quite easily. Despite being a member of a sociable species, he isn’t the most outgoing of creatures.
History: Sij was the oldest of his litter. As a kit he was very reserved, but creative. He spent a lot of time with the older animals. He decided to become a shaman and healer, mentoring under an old cobra who taught him her ways and the patterns of life.
OOC History: His concept is from 2012.
