Taji has the light cream pelt of her pride. Due to their pride inhabiting the far northern reaches of lion territory the pride had long ago isolated itself, most of the members having the light cream colour that Taji now has.  Her under-belly is a lighter, almost white colour, and her fur is also quite long around her chest area. This lighter colour also features around Taji's maw and nose. She also has cheek tufts, not very long ones, but they fade into a lighter colour at the tips. Her eyes are a blue hue, however without looking carefully they can appear to be quite a dull grey. Under her eyes is a slightly darker, more brown cream colour, that extends past the end of her eye in a thin line for a short while before tapering off. Her nose is the same dark cream of her under-eye, and this is the same colour of her tail tuft and the soles of her paws. Down her neck she has longer hair that fades at the tips to the lighter cream colour.

Often she will carry a small token of her pride around on her ankle, this is a bracelet made of different shades of rope all intertwining and twisting into one another, she treasures it far more than she probably should.

Personality:

Taji, as the last born of the kings five children, has always been reasonably quiet. Her other siblings often asserted themselves over her as she was the youngest, but this never truly stopped her from developing a strong will and even though she is often afraid to say her opinion bluntly, she does try her best to make sure others know how she feels without causing conflict.

Despite her introverted characteristics, if she feels as if the world is turning against her she does tend to become hot tempered and lash out against others if she feels they are disrespecting her.

Taji tries her best to understand those around her and prefers to look to diplomacy before violence, unlike her other siblings and mother, who simply use their strong bodies to get their point across.

Taji is often left to her own, and has few friends within her pride, but the friendships she does have are very strong and she cares deeply for her friends.

From a young age her father always criticized her for being too quick to trust others, saying that although it was important to trust other, you must not trust them too quickly. She has always tried to avoid trusting too quickly form then on, but never manages to not trust them at least a little.

History:

Taji is the last born of her fathers five cubs, and despite this she has not struggled extensively during her time as a cub and has been able to develop into an intelligent, if somewhat too curious young adult.

As a cub her parents tried their best to watch over her without secluding her too much from the pride. She was no where near as strong as her brothers and sisters, which troubled the king and queen somewhat, but as she grew it came clear that her strength was in her mind, not so much her body. This put the kings mind at rest, but her mother, who values strength of body above that of the mind was still unsure.

Due to this uncertainty from her mother, Taji was sent with her eldest sister, Elewa, to practise hunting from a young age. Despite making her somewhat battered and bruised from time to time, it did in fact strengthen the young adolescent, and allowed her to stick up for herself more efficiently.

There was always the odd family argument, but on the hole the pride was a close knit one, and enjoyed a happy existence.

Although her fathers pride was small, Liaski was not worried, he could sustain the lions he had under his care and he had plenty of offspring to ensure the safety of the pride once he joined the stars in the sky.
