Lion king 2 rp (Accalia)

Vitani was lounging lazily at the bottom of Pride Rock, looking around. Only about half a year had passed since her mother disappeared in death. But this life was much better. More friendly lions, and much more to do than just kill and fight. 

[Accalia]

((I will use Li'nathe ^-^ sorry this took so long btw ))

Li'nathe's paws ached as he ran, ran so far, away from his pain and the death of his fathers pride. He had not loved his father, or the pride he was forced to call his own, but it had been home. He was use to running, but now he knew he could not return.

It hadn't happened recently, infact, he couldn't remember how long he had been running away, with little sleep. But he didn't much care either.

Slowly the scent of lion dawned on him, he had made it, he had made it to the fabled Pride-Lands. Maybe here, maybe he could find peace and the freedom he had been waiting for.

He continued to walk hesitantly forward, the shadow of the great pride rock looming over him. He was so preoccupied that he fell over another lion. His front paws slipped beneath him and he let out a small grunt as his body collided with the floor. His face went bright red and he quickly turned to see the pore lion he had fallen over.

Vitani reacted instantly and was up on her feet she looked the lion over and sighed. ((it's alright))

[Accalia]

He made an apologetic look and quickly added "I'm so sorry I didn't see you there!" he spoke quickly due to his embarrassment, and looked to the ground. "Uhm, I'm Li'nathe by the way.. I'm just trying to find refuge." He wondered who this lioness was, her pelt was light and she had a small fringe. And her eyes, her eyes sparkled in an almost hypnotising way.

Vitani nodded " it's alright I'm Vitani former outlander now a pridelander" she said introducing herself.

[Accalia]

He looked at her in surprise, "You were an outlander?? As in the dark kingdom of scar?? Are you really Vitani?!!" he asked, he couldn't believe it, this was all as if it were straight from the fables he had heard. He looked at her in awe, and then did a long and meaningful bow. "I'm pleased to meet you, Vitani." he then looked up at her with a small grin, and stood up once more. "Could you possibly take me to the leader? I'd like to ask something of them.."

Vitani nodded " yes I'm Vitani, yes I was a outlander and sure I would take you to the leaders" .she answered his questions and walked up pride rock gesturing for him to follow her.

[Accalia]

He smiled and followed her willingly "Thank you Vitani."

He looked all around him, at the full and calm life of the pride lands, all the lions he had seen seemed content and happy, and everyone seemed to be well fed and healthy. He smiled as he watched the lions across the land napping, interacting and caring for the young as he continued to climb the winding path up pride rock.

It all felt so surreal to him, and his eyes were glazed over with a glistening tint of pure awe and excitement. He had heard of prides like this, that functioned so smoothly, and went almost completely without fault.

He continued walking until they were almost at the top, then he finally realised, he didn't know who the leaders were, "Who are the current leaders of the pride lands??"

" your welcome.. and the current leaders are king Kovu who is my brother and queen Kiara who is the daughter of simba and nala the leaders before Kovu and Kiara" Vitani replied as they neared the top of Pride Rock.

[Accalia]

"Wow, so your still royalty.." he whispered to himself. He couldn't believe that part of the royal family was helping him.

As they reached the top, he lowered his head is submission, he knew he had to be polite, and these lions were fabled across the land, and he was about to meet them!!

They turned the corner, and there they were... King Kovu and his queen Kiara... He bowed completely to the ground and awaited their order to rise.

Once risen he said slowly "King Kovu, Queen Kiara, I have come here from my fathers pride, and would like to ask you if you would accept me into your pride." he knew he was being abrupt, and asking a lot of the king and queen, but he couldn't run for much longer, and he had a feeling about this pride, and in a way knew he could have the chance of happiness here.

Vitani slowly went to stand at the side as she looked at Kovu and Kiara watiing for them to reply.

[Accalia]

Kovu looked over at his mate questioningly. Kiara then said "And why have you left your fathers pride?"

Li'nathe's eyes suddenly looked slightly dead "I didn't so much leave it, as it was destroyed, along with its king, and all subjects. As far as I know, I'm the only one who survived."

"The lions who destroyed this pride, do they see you as a threat, or as a target they need to expel?" Kovu asked cautiously

"they believe me dead" he said quietly

Kiara then looked to Kovu, who said "What is your name, stranger."

"Li'nathe"

"Well Li'nathe, what you ask is not a small favour, but me and my king have decided to allow you in." Kiara said in a strong voice. She seemed to make a very strong queen

Kovu continued, "However, if any lions outside of the pride ever attack, you have to fight for this pride, as by letting you join, it becomes your family."

Li'nathe bowed "I swear to you, that I will serve you until the end." he knew that this was all happening very fast, and that he could hate it here. But he had sworn now, and he never went back on his word

Vitami listened and she could sense the lion didnt go back on his word she slightly smiled.

[Accalia]

Kovu smiled "Rise Li'nathe."
"Welcome to the pride" Kiara added "Ah, Vitani!" they both smiled and rose to their feet, walking towards Vitani and smiling said, "Do you Mind showing Li'nathe around? He needs to know the way of the pride, and we need to attend to other matters." Kovu gave her a warm smile and rubbed his head against hers in a brotherly manner.

Li'nathe turned to look at Vitani and smiled warmly, plodding over to where they all stood.

Vitani smiled and nodded " sure" and she purred rubbing her head against kovus in a sisterly way as well.

[Accalia]

Li'nathe was over joyed, he'd made it!! He could be free and happy and a part of a family that accepted him. He couldn't help but smile. He bowed once last time to the king and queen before turning and looking out over the vast amount of lands called the pride lands, his home. She let out a relieved sigh and looked back at Vitani, waiting for her to lead the way

Vitani gestured for him to follow her as she walked down Pride Rock towards the waterhole.

[Accalia]

Li'nathe happily followed behind her as they travelled through the land. He looked to her and asked "What's your favourite place here then?"

[amberafridi]

Vitani glanced at him " the waterhole" she said smiling.

[Accalia]

He smiled back as the waterhole slid into view. His eyes widened "This is the waterhole??!" the large expanse of water rippled and glistened in the sunlight and he turned to face Vitani, a cheeky smirk on his face "Race you!" he quickly said before speeding off at full speed towards the waterhole, his mane flowing through the wind and his legs a blinding blurr as they carried him over the grass.

Vitani growled in a playful manner " well that was not fair!" she said racing after him soon she started to catch upto him her lean built allowing her to easily outrun him.

[Accalia]

He smiled as he saw her gain on him, never before had anyone been able to beat him at racing, he had been runing all his life and his legs had developed muscles in just the right places to allow him to propell his massive body foreward at great speeds. Though that was only up until now, as Vitani seemed to be catching up to him with ease.

Vitani smirked " see ya!" she called and ran past him towards the water hole stopping once she won.

[Accalia]

Li'nathe smiled gleefully as he desperately tried to catch up with Vitani, but she was just too fast for him, and she stopped ahead of him, victorious.

He smiled, and heaved a bit as he was out of breath. "Wow!" He said amazed, "You are fast!!" He laughed a bit at that and smiled at her.

Then he turned to the waterhole in all its glory.

Vitani grinned " hah! all that training in the outlands wasn't for nothing" she said.

[Accalia]

Li'nathe smiled and laughed along with her. Her laugh was sweet and soft and made him want to laugh.

The smells around the waterhole were fresh and strong, all kinds of animals had been here from wilder beasts to antelope.

Vitani bent down and started to drink from the waterhole getting quite thirsty from all the running

[Accalia]

Li'nathe joined Vitani and drank the fresh water from the water hole. Its water was crisp and cool, just what he needed after that sprint.

Once finished drinking he raised his head and smiled "So, how come this is your favourite place??"

[amberafridi]

Vitani raised her head and smiled " I can relax here" she replied.

[Accalia]

He smiled back "That's a pretty good reason." it was very calm around the water, a place to rest and think, he could imagine spending long hours just lying in the sun, letting the world around him play out before his eyes.
