Marat stands fairly tall with a bulky build. While he is physically fit, his fitness focuses more in the area of strength than stamina. Running is not his forte. He has a black mane, Golden fur, and a cream underbelly, with a healing scar just above his right eye.

Marat is a master of the social landscape. Although he can be militaristic at times, he knows that his job entails that he works with civilians on a regular basis, so he can be calm and collected. He has a good judgement. He tends to do his work through other people, preferring not to stick around for the scene of the "Crime". Marat is what is called a "Rioteer". He is a rogue who hops between particularly iron-fisted or oppressive prides, working with the citizens of those prides to incite riots and depose the rulers in question. Because he does all his work through other people, his existence is not known to many. In fact, he prefers that nobody gives him credit for the despots he deposes.

Marat's father, also a Rioteer, had taught him the craft of working with other animals in the social landscape to manipulate them to his liking. Of course, in order to be a rioteer, one must also be physically fit, making sure Marat did a strength based fitness regiment every day. When he was in his late adolescence, his father let him loose on his first job, inciting a riot that would depose King Scar from the pridelands, about three days walk from his home. Despite coming so close, it was a failure. The lion whom Marat had set up to overthrow king Scar had been killed in a bout with hyenas the day before the lionesses were supposed to revolt. This was not the only job that had gone bad, of course. A 100% success rate is an unrealistic goal. However, he had managed to rack up a count of 4 deposed leaders by the time he was a young adult. However, these riots often leave chaos in their wake, and occasionally leave an even worse situation for the governed.
Character Motivation:
Marat's family has always been composed of rogues. When Marat's mother had him, he was almost killed by the leader of the pride for being a son of a rogue. However, Marat's father managed to stop such an act. This built very early on a disdain for authority in him. Marat never enjoyed overbearing authority figures, and this becomes apparent in his line of work. He often targets militaristic and overbearing rulers, replacing them with leaders who are much more loose and fair. In short, Marat is an anarchist. He loves seeing authority fall, and he decided to take that up as a line of work.
