Just moments ago the sun had set and engulfed the savanna and it's surroundings in darkness, when a glowing figure interrupted the nights peace. A lion, surround by light blue light, was slowly walking by the edge of the plains, trying to pinpoint it's location after a long day of walking through the forest with no sense of direction. The lion kept making quiet, annoyed grunts and lifting up his front left paw to clean it. He had a slight limp to his step, but that did not stop him from dashing in the direction of a nearby pond.
"Finally!" Meusi exclaimed loudly, disturbing song birds high up the trees. They flew away chirping, and a braver bird even flew by him, slapping him with it's wings, what made the dark lion snort. He had more important matters to attend to than apologizing to insignificant creatures. He had to find a pride. Didn't matter which one. Just a pride to know here he was and what was going on in the world, because nothing felt right anymore.

The darkness of the world mattered little to the small lioness carefully placing her steps along the dirt path. 'Are you sure this is the right away?' a quited question resonated in her mind, an ear flickered as the white lioness tilted her head in direction over her shoulder; an instinctual gesture that one would think would serve her no purpose anymore, given her eyes were obscured by a blindfold. However the shadowed form of the large raven perched on her shoulder she could see perfectly well. Kind eyes locked in her direction, "I am not sure, Phyxavin." she mused as an soft sigh escaped her maw, "Do you sense anything?" she inquired with her Companion, she had thought she could smell the scent of feline on breeze but the scent was faint and she was unsure to trust her senses, carefully she truged onwards trying to keep her presence as quite as possible.
'The darkness of the woods should keep us safe.' the raven suggested, 'You never know what manner of beings lurk in places like these.' his voice warned, Na'hina was used to Phyxavin's warnings and she was careful to heed his advice, she had at one time outright ignored his warning out of teenage stupidity, such a mistake had nearly cost the young female her life, had her guardian not saved her.

Meusi was enjoying the refreshing beverage offered to him by nature, yet even now, when he was quenching his thirst and feeling like in 7th heaven, the pain in his burnt paw didn't leave him alone. At times like these he wished that he could use his powers to take care of himself, but there was no way he could do that - at least not a way he'd be aware of, anyways. He dipped his paw in the cool water, sighing in relief.
As soon as one of his needs was satisfied, another one kicked in, Hunger. He couldn't recall the last time he'd had a meal and his stomach let outa loud rumble. Meusi looked around, trying to spot someone to put on his teeth. The savanna was empty, wiped clean. Except for a new smell... There was a lion somewhere near.
Slowly Meusi stepped into the water pond and took a defensive stance. It might of not be the wisest choice when it came to a stealthy attack, but he the oise might startle whoever was approaching him. Maybe their fight or flight reflex would work in the dark lion's favor.

She could smell the scent of the water on the wind, and that made the girl girl realize just how thirsty she was; she hadn't had a drink since this morning. She was making her way towards the pond, when the sudden splash like something had rapidly distrubed the water made her stop. "Phyxavin?" the girl exhaled, speaking beneath her breath her voice carrying hints of uncertainty and even fright; she was a skitty creature for good reason, after all Na'hina had no real ways of defending herself. The bird had left her shoulder had taken flight to get an overview of the situation, even if it was dark the incubus demon see perfectly well. Doing a turn around the pond he noticed the creature standing in it, 'There's a lion here.' he replied to her, trying to ease her mind he could sense his ward was spooked; if she got even more emotionally riled something bad could happen.
'He doesn't seem hostile.' Phyxavin spoke after doing a another swoop over the waters. The information from her companion calmed Na'hina down, and obolstered her courage to attempt an approach to at least get something to drink; surely this stranger wouldn't turn her down, right? Phyxavin perched himself in one of the trees on the edge of the pond keeping a careful eye on the strange male and to keep watch on his ward.

The first thing Meusi noticed was a flame. A light blue flame at the tip of a lion's tail. Then, a leaf or something similiar around it's eyes. "What?" he thought, while examining the approaching lion - lioness, to be correct. The rag around it's eyes wasn't the strangest thing for sure, it was the bird that really baffled Meusi. If he'd have any say in this, the bird would make him a light dinner, but there were many peculiar specimen in the world.
The dark lion didn't feel threatened by the newcomer, but he didn't feel completely comfortable either. With slow steps he got out of the watering hole and proceeded to clean up his burnt paw, glancing at the twosome beside him from time to time, trying to figure out if asking about the lionesses companion or the blindfold would be appropriate.
