So I joined under a slightly more unique goal here.    Especially after I saw the fantasy Sci-Fi section.

I have this character.
 

Who has very much a sci fi mystical element to him.  He was basically the host for a warrior spirit named Orion who took the form of a Lion.  After his presencec in a battle turned the tide for the heroes, the villain who wielded darkness as a weapon, cornered this kid and Orion, corrupting Orion with darkness and permanently bonding him with this guy, turning him into the form he has now.

So the kind of RP I'm looking for is Fish out of water, Mathieu here acquainting himself with his lion kin and learning the finer details of his leoine abilities. 

Is anyone up for this in the Scifi/fantasy forum?

This looks pretty awesome, but you might have trouble getting it past forum admin as there's a rule which states no human/anthro characters allowed. But if you redesign him without the anthro bit you might get past.

Hey there! Locking him in the feral form should get you past the admins just fine

Powers are okay, as long you restrict it to three. The set up can be quite varied; forexample you can have either three ability powers, or one ability power and accompanying resistence/weaknesses etc. Or just maybe one extensive power which would count as 3 if powerful enough. So yeah you can actually be quite creative with it.

First off, welcome to the forum impiousimp.
The other members are correct in that there are certain rules a character needs to adhere to to be usable on the forum, you can find them Here.

The character design is fine as long as he stays within lion form, as the rules state there can't be anthros etc. (see the rules for more details). As far as his cloths go... well I honestly have to say that I don't think the topic of characters wearing armour/cloths/weapons was ever really brought up. I don't think there'd be an issue though it might be hard to try explain it away in certain RPs.

While these rules apply to the forum, you can if you so wish, RP with someone in private via the forum PM system in which instance you can use him in anthro form also if you please, since that isn't seen by the public or other members outside of those part of the PM conversation.

I think both Cheezeegriff and Leto suitably answered your questions, if you have any more you can either consult the rules or Pm either myself or another member of staff.

I think I'm more apt to just be a member of the community outside of the official RP forums.

Like when I get my plushie patterns finished I'll share them.

Even if Im only making a teen male it should be adaptable.

Then again I just downloaded the kingdom hearts lionking models so You can literally just download those and make a pattern from Nala or Simba.
