The sun was rising and the cool wind felt great blowing through raven's fur. Raven lied down and watched the clouds with out a care in the world. She was very hungry, its been about 2 days since she last ate...well real food. She couldn't help but to think of a nice, tender, and juicy zebra carcass. She licked her lips and went on a search for scraps. There she saw a dead bird. She approached it carefully, she wouldn't want to take another lion's food. It seemed to be clear so she ran and pounced straight at it swallowing it whole. Then she also noticed a small puddle of water and lapped it all up. "Wow out of all my days this is probably my best!" She said continuing to explore. It wasn't to long ago when she was abandoned. But, she still doesn't know that and thinks they will come back for her.

It was early morning, he knew he shouldn't be out wandering at this hour, but it was so boring just staying in the cliff side den sleeping like his parents were doing, usually his fathers were great fun but not in the mornings. The maltese tiger cub was bouncing through the grasses which were waving in the cool morning breeze.
Akira wasn't hungry having ripped off some scraps of yesterday's dinner before he snuck off, bouncing through the grass he came upon a cricket resting on a strand of grass. Lowering his chest onto the ground the fat furred tiger cub stalked after it and tried to pounce but the agile insect jumped away at the last second. "Hey, wait up!" he called out as he tried to catch up to his unwillingly playmate.
But as he lost sight of the cricket it slowly dawned on him that he had no idea where he was, minor panic was starting to well up in his chest as his breath quickened and his eyes scanned his unfamiliar surroundings. That was when he picked up noise near by, Words specifically.
"H-hello?" he called out, voice visibly uncertain and shaky as he carefully stalked in the direction of the sound.

Raven continued to walk around. She began to do the one thing she could never say no to, dig. She stuck out her claws and stuck them into the ground. She began to dig as fast as she could and all of the dirt flew behind her. She went deeper and deeper into the ground, making a large hole. As she was digging she bumped into a huge bundle of roots. "Ha! No roots will stop this master digger!" She ripped and tugged on the roots tightly. finally she pulled them out from the ground, now she could finish her last touch ups to the hole. After all of that she heard something not to far away. Raven heard the following: H-hello..? The voice sounded like someone was scared. In that case maybe that lion wouldn't be bad! Raven took a deep breath in and stuck out her chest. Then let out a loud mighty roar. Well at least that's what she expected instead, it was scratchy and foolish sounding. She felt kind of embarrassed, instead she decided to say something back. So once more she took a deep breath in and stuck her chest out and yelled "Who's there!!?"

The tiger cub startled as a yell returned his shaky question, ears folded back as he approached the sound. Stepping through the foliage he stood face to face With a white cub, a lion cub as far as he could see, and it was standing in a ditch or hole of some sort.
"Just me." he replied to her call earlier, as his ice-blue eyes scanned her form. "Who are you?" he cocked his head to the side, inquisitive.

The little cub who had said hello wasn't a lion cub from what she could see. He had a strange color pattern and a similar form. After the cub had asked "who are you?" raven just stood there wondering if she could trust such a strange cub. After a moment of silence, raven finally opened her mouth and said "My name is raven...who are you?" She asked curiously. She folded her ears back and waited for the cub to respond, she could tell that he was as scared as she was.

His ears swirled forward as the other revealed her name, but posed a question all the same. "I-I'm Akira." he stammered, ears folding backwards, his eyes occasionally drifted skywards as if he was looking for something but there was nothing up there except the occasional bird and clouds floating by. The Young tiger cub's gaze trailed over the white lioness, "What are you doing out here all alone?" he asked, voice carrying curiosity. He had been taught that lions were rarely alone, and as such he had to be very careful around them, esspecially the cubs cuz their parents wouldn't hesistate to kill him, given the chance.

Raven looked down at her hole and sat down and let out a sigh. "Well I was waiting for my parents to come back..." Raven said in a sad tone of voice. Raven lifted herself up and walked slowly to the other cub calmly not to frighten him. "What about you...why are you alone.." She asked the cub while slowly approaching him.

Akira slowly relaxed as the threatening presence abated, there was no danger here. His ears swirled forward as the female replied that she waiting for her parents to come back, that made the tiger a little bit nervous; if the adult lions approached he wouldn’t stand a chance. Though the sadness of her voice sounded almost curious, as if she didn’t think they would return, “I am not alone!” Akira puffed out his chest, trying to seem brave; “I can take care of myself.” He boasted although it was a partial truth, he did have some clue on how to cope at least few days on his own, even if he wasn’t that skilled a hunter quite yet. Not that his parents had ever left him alone for more than three days, they had never abandoned him.
“My parents are somewhere.” He shrugged nonchalant, he was sure if they wanted him, they could easily find him, it was very hard for him to actually hide from his parents; given they both had wings and as such could fly, Akira found himself almost envious of their ability, flying was so much fun! However, he always hoped that Yuuchi would be the one to find him first, as Izo was not very forgiving towards disobedience, which often resulted in him getting punished.

Raven looked at the cub and smiled as she ran closer to him. "Lucky you! She said in a grumpy manner. Anyway I'm raven." She looked at the cub and examined him. He wasn't a lion yet a cheetah... maybe a tiger! "Hey what are you?" Raven asked hoping her guess was correct. She didn't want to meet his parents, she never liked to meet animals older then her.

His ears swirled back hearing her sarcastic, indeed almost angry reply. Had he said something wrong? "I am a tiger." he trailed his gaze down his own form, seeing the dark stripes slipping through his Purple-grey fur. That's what his parents had told him anyways, he was a tiger, and so were they, with the exception they had wings. Not that Akira himself was particularly normal, even if he could look the part. No he had abilities, abilities he would not show this girl, he had been given strict instructions from his parents to never display his abilities to strangers, certainly not mundane ones; as they could easily get the wrong ideas about him.
"I assume you're a lion?" he retorted despite her white fur she clearly had a leonine apperance.

Raven looked at him in a strange way. "You look funny. Raven said regretting her words. Hey wanna hangout!?" Raven asked with excitement in her eyes as she got into her play stance. She had never met a tiger before but this could interesting learning the ways of a one.
