I like that Kir! And I think it would be awesome if each of our characters got a nod of some sort. I think it would also be cool if each of the slave prides had their own cultural quirk about the prophecy.
The only tough part is how we want each of our characters acknowledged, what the effect of their actions would be, and the general theme of the prophecy.

Ok so I probably won't be able to post until this upcoming weekend (maybe not even then, but I'll do my best). And I've been working on the prophecy a bit and this is what I came up with. Let me know what you guys think! A lot of the verses were really late night 'Wow-what a terrific idea that sounds good' verses so they might not make a lot of sense but it's just what I came up with.  I tried to acknowledge each of our chars but it was a bit difficult. Besides I didn't want to take control of your characters ya' know? And it don't have to be fulfilled right away. I mean we don't even have to use it at all. It definitely needs revisions and it doesn't really have a theme... but it was just an idea. If you guys have a prophecy or verse or anything you should definitely (please) post it lol. I'll add who I acknowledged to the right of each verse. Behold the pride seared by the light, (Just good old Pride Premier here/ drought stuff)
Betrayed by their desire for life, (mwahaha slaves)
Secrets cast off into the night,
Brought forth by the imminent strife.
Twins of radiance unknown by each other, (Lumiar and Eliora maybe?)
Fears unlike, fates entwined,
Each bound to an oath swore,
One shall fall the other restore.
Blood against blood, the chain is broken, (Roque, Anima, and Messala?)
Two against one the king unspoken,
Family divided and overturned,
One's love deceived the other spurned.
What of desire? (Leto perhaps? Desiring his freedom?)
Answering the call required,
Leading the warriors proud and true,
A stranger once, a legend ensues.
Wanderers come, foreign and new, (Kulaani and Kaimu?)
Joining the fight and strengthen the feud,
Master and slave bound by lies, (Nafsi and Na'hina?)

Cub and teacher a love ignited, (Was thinking Maji and Ruby but that might be weird 0.0)
Slave and master the love holds true,

War must cometh, the beast renewed. (War? rebels?)

Anger and greed destroy their sight, (maybe Nafsi and Na'hina again idk/ Haraka?)

It has potential, but I've only done one quick read through. I'll do a more thorough one tomorrow or something. The bit with Ruby and Maji that doesn't necessarily have to be a romance it could be something like brother/sisterly type love or mother/son even though she's only slightly older than him. But that's something I'd have to discuss with Lyonize.

I wasn't really thinking romance for Maji either but more like mother/son? Kinda like Maji might idk be like another cub or even a brother for Ruby. But yeah this was just an idea. It really needs more work and it might be too long/too detailed. It might just be better if it was more simple and vague. It was just an idea for if we wanted to acknowledge each of our characters which could certainly be changed.

I like all of it! It's really awesome.
The part with Leto might fit, all he desires is his freedom and with that a chance to return home.
He'll be willing to do quite drastic and desperate things to ensure his success, murder being the least of such things. And in truth if you think Nafsi is capable of evil, you have not seen Leto. The fact that he was a pivotal part in a slightly similar rebellious uprising that occurred in his homeland about 10 years prior, means he has knowledge of how to effective wage guerilla warfare. He knows how to command soldiers and at a small army.
I like the parts dealing with Nafsi and Na'hina as well, it's vague as prophecies should be ^^

I still think it could use some editing, because I wanted to hint at murder and despair and all kinds of dark dreadful things, but I also tried to acknowledge everyone without controlling them, and leaving it vague. '^-^
Nafsi and Na'hina weren't so difficult but I feel like the verses mentioning them might be kinda repetitive.. Idk I'm just glad I finally got it posted for feedback haha.
Also the last few verses might need to be changed if we don't want a savior.

Prophecies are funny in the way that even though it might seem something doesn't work out right (e.g. someone who's "not supposed to die" dies anyway, etc), in the end it will still work out right, often just in ways that aren't at first clear. xP That said, I love what you've written there, Eliora!  I have to agree with others, Nafsi and Na'hina's parts are very good. Lumiar and Eliora too! Especially considering the small, tiny little plot bunnies that I've been getting whenever I've briefly pondered what Lumiar might do in this RP. xP Mwezi and the flocks work well too. :3 |

I wasn't sure about the "oath swore" part for Eliora and Lumiar but it rhymed and I didn't think we had much going on with the two so I just added it in there.
A lot of this stuff was just like "oh that rhymes, thats sorta relevant, maybe we can make it relevant, I hope they don't mind" sorta things hehe. Good to know you guys don't hate it.
I think it still needs revisions though.

*walks in completely dazed and plops down*  what happened? I was so busy last week and suddenly we have a prophecy and like 3 posts in the story. lol So yeah, Maji isn't a cub, he's more of an adolescent. think like 18/19 in human years but maybe appears more like 15/16 because of his state of perpetual undernourishment. I have been thinking about something else the last couple weeks, I may have overcompensated for Majis lack of any sort of physical ability in giving him both photographic AND echoic memory but what if some consider that a very mild "power"? I mean, where is the line drawn between those with powers and those without? Is there a line? Is it just a spectrum and Maji is just on the lower end of it? So that's one line of thought I've been down a couple times but it brings me to an idea I've also been playing around with and the part in the prophecy: Cub and teacher, referring to Maji and Ruby presents an opportunity. I kind of like the idea that Majis memory is just the tip of an untapped power he has that he's never been able to use because he hasn't been taught how to use it. The power I have in mind is psychometry. powerlisting.wikia.com/wiki/PsychometryI think it makes perfect sense that Majis mental abilities are a beginning stage of developing Psychometry. What do you think? So what if Ruby teaches Maji to use this power and maybe this develops some sort of relationship, romantic or otherwise? *plops down on the keyboard again*

Awww poor Lyonize! There there. *pats head* I hadn't thought of the powers and stuff like that before! It would be pretty interesting if the Pride Premier thought of powers as a kind of spectrum. Not sure how it would be ranked but that's a curious idea. *jots that down on notepad* Sorry about the Maji-cub thing hehe. When I wrote that part of the prophecy "teen and teacher" worked but I thought that sounded a bit funny and also made the prophecy a bit informal. So I put cub down and I think it stuck. We can always change it! With regards to Maji's potential psychometry, I think that'd be awesome! There's a ton of potential there and I think the powers he has now could definitely be leading to the onset of psychometry. If psychometry lets you see anyone/things future or past maybe Maji could also be like a prophet or something? Maybe not like an actual prophet spouting the prophecy all over the place, but maybe he could catch glimpses of the role a character might play in the prophecy? If he sees awful things in someones past or future it might also contribute to his fearful personality. The only thing that might be difficult with Ruby and Maji is that Ruby is a member of the Pride Premier and Maji is a domestic slave. But, if Roque and Ruby are friends, Roque could perhaps bring Maji to Mt. Rukor and maybe they could become acquaintances etc. |

I imagine "cub" could be used in the same way. Its not a huge deal. haha It's not so much a mind reading power actually. With psychometry, Maji would be able to touch an object and recieve a vision of things that happened in the past with that object. For instance, Maji could touch a tree and see everyone who walked past it, or events that transpired near it. Or he could touch a murder weapon and see instantly who the killer was and visualize the event. Additionally, he could touch someone and see their memories. Though, I imagine, if he touched someone who had some kind of power dealing with time, he could possibly see memories from the future. That would be pretty crazy. lol If Ruby and Roque are friends and he thinks well of her, she could always use that and just say that she wants Maji as her personal slave, which he could be but she could treat him well AND train him at the same time, which would again loop back to the familial love between them? Sounds like a plan! But Ruby needs a reason to want him as a slave. I should have Maji express his special memory in some way. Maybe he corrects someone on the number of guards in an area and describes every single one of them in detail based on a glance. It might also be a way to develop some photographic deduction (The ability to figure out connections in whatever the user is investigating and process them extraordinarily fast.), which is one of the applications for psychometry. Everybody needs spies and Maji could be the best! |

How about on a walk or something he comes across Roque or some character and they're like, "Not many people come this way, only the slaves on a walk of shame" Or something and Ruby could be with said person and Maji could always point out that Ruby goes that route often to get time to think. I could just make Ruby be caught of guard but she didn't think anyone knew of her walks? *shrug*
