Here are the rules for the role-play. This role-play is for moderate to advanced role-players.
Rules for The Pride Premier role-play:
1.) Participants are expected to follow all of the rules of TLKGO. This means that there is no bunnying, god-modding, or metagaming allowed. Respect each other and do not kill anyone's characters unless you have been given permission and have discussed it in the discussion thread. Participants are allowed to kill NPCs, but please only do this sparingly. Remember, slaves are resources.
2.) Participants are expected to post at least two paragraphs and have grammatically correct posts. Four to five paragraphs is ideal but two is fine occasionally. Please read over your post before posting it! Grammar is extremely important. If you need help please ask someone!
3.) Participants are expected to fully read over preceding posts. PLEASE READ EACH OTHERS POSTS FULLY. Do not skim, or skip lines. This is a very complex role-play and if you do not read each others posts you might miss a key concept, or event and then the whole role-play might get muddled and confused.
4.)Participants are expected to have read the references section, character backgrounds, maps, map description, and NPC list before starting the role-play. I know it's a lot, but I didn't make those threads for nothing. Like I said before, this is a complex role-play and universe and participants must be aware of the rules, customs, and topography of the universe before starting.
5.)Participants are expected to communicate and plan together. Talk to each other! Plan events out together in the discussion thread or over pm! We are a team and we're going to make a great story. But we can't do it unless we work together. Give each other advice, help each other, make corrections, etc.
6.)Participants are expected to follow the posting order in the discussion thread. Please follow the current posting order. If someone is taking awhile, please be patient. We all have separate lives off of this forum, and some of us are involved in more than one role-play.
7.) Participants may use NPCs in this RP, temporarily. If you want to use a NPC for a post you may, just post who you are using in the discussion thread. You may use the NPC for two posts only, unless there is a special exception due to a critical plot point etc.
