Why is "Lingere" on that list of TLG Merchandise? What the...  nah, it's probably just a mistake, like someone copy/pasted it and didn't notice "lingerie" among all the words. But it still makes you wonder... xD |

Perhaps they've just registered it to cover every type of merch they might want to do? It's a pretty hefty list, so I'm thinking they might not make everything. And I don't think underwear for kids with themes/characters on them is that weird. There's plenty of that sort of thing around  |

Its getting closer everyone , As we know D23 is supposed to be showing something like a premier of the Lion Guard, starting this Friday the 14th through the 16th, and this is probably the moment we all have been waiting for, to see if it will be good or bad, now does anyone know where this D23 Expo will be or what channel it will be according to Disney that is? is it going to be on Disney Junior or Disney Channel itself? how do we not miss this showing? |

Oh my... Whoa! That teaser looked pretty good. The animation looks really gorgeous, and I actually liked those hyenas' designs (they have a bit of a different physique, but they match the TLK world). I'm also glad that some of the cast has been finally revealed, still no Kovu or Kiara in sight, but that can change soon. And James Earl Jones and Ernie Sabella are set to return! Sweeeet! I can't wait for more news! |

I love the animation it looks really good! I do agree with that roar being hyperbolic lol!
Tho I just can't shake the fact of how.. well how serious an instiution the Lion Guard actually is. Considering it's composed of animals that are essentially kids and their opponents are also kids(those hyenas were definitly pups), I think the Lion Guard is the name of a club, a little-kids gang and nothing serious like a literal special-tasks operation force in the Pridelands XD You'd never let something like that being lead by someone who is essentially a 11-12 year old lol! I know I might be really late to this revelation, but still xP

waaaaaaaaaaa Looks a lot better then i imagined ^^. I was fearing stale animation etc but here they have pulled it off quite well. Looks very nicely made Things like the off model hyena's threw me a bit but looking at the size comparison they could be pups so that may explain it. =3 |

This is supposed to be a new piece of official artwork with Simba, Nala and Kion (correct me if it's not >.>) Simba sure looks in much better shape than he did in SP, and Nala's eyes are the right colour again.... Life is good x3  |

Ok after watching the video more then ten times and reviewing it, here is my response to it. The animation is very smooth and well done, the environment is beautifully well painted, the rocks look AMAZINGLY GOOD, the Hyenas have a different twist look on them but they still have the same colors and features of the original TLK hyena look, and the outlands will be in the show, but after the outlanders lions joined with Simba so, but didn't we all think that the hyenas lived in the EG? they must have fled to the outlands or Simba probably banished them there. Ok Now who is Jon Jon? he must be a hyena too and the leader main bad guy. And I find it very cute and funny when Bunga says "Lunch?" its so funny cute, I like the way he says it so adorable  Notice how Kions eyes change from brown to gold or orange, they must be a mix of those colors but they are Definitely not red like Simbas, But I thinks Simba had some brown eyes too or orange. Now for the roar how can we accept this him having this adult roar as a cub and having the adult lions roar with him in the cloud's and wind power. I just don't know about this, is this gonna happen every time someone is in trouble? and where did Bunga get that goared? Rafikis im guessing, what was it used for? why did he have it? and where did he learn those fast moves to climb up a Rocky cliff? And last but not least, the Lion Symbal on Kion Shoulder, ok its not a paw we know that already but the way it appears on his shoulder I can definitely rule out it wasn't done by Rafiki, or was it his magic?, this kind of magic idk I guess it would be ok I guess but they better not go over board. and of course notice a familier voice at the end of the Title? Cool second clip. I think the artistry and style of the show looks great (colors, smoothness, lighting), but I'm not sold on the actual animation, per se. Kion's run cycle there was a little rigid and unrealistic.
Also I was looking at a promotional photo and saw that Bunga has RODENT TEETH? DID DISNEY NOT DO ENOUGH RESEARCH TO KNOW THAT HONEY BADGERS AREN'T RODENTS, OR ARE THEY JUST PULLING THE WOOL OVER OUR EYES?
I do love that photo of Simba and Nala, though. Simba definitely doesn't look at puffy and old mannish as in TLKII. And Nala's eyes are an injustice that has long needed rectifying.

I had the same thought, actually. Especially in the last few seconds when his mark appears, he looks more... King-like.
Knowing this family, I bet Kion will eventually do something reckless that will get him a scolding from Simba, but I also get the feeling that Kion has a better sense of justice than Simba ever had as a cub.
But that's just me, I hope he doesn't turn out to be a little bragging brat like his dad was xD
