Today in Manchester there was an arson attack on the Manchester Dogs Home, an estimated 43 dogs have been killed in the fire that a single individual started. Even now people are gathering around to donate supplies and offer emergency fostering. If I wasn't living in student accomodation I, myself would be fostering a few dogs. A lovely woman however has started this up: www.justgiving.com/dogshomefire/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=fundraisingpage&utm_content=dogshomefire&utm_campaign=pfp-share-mobileNOW, I know some of you are in school and etc but if any of the older members or the younger members friends and family had even a pound to spare it would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to buy some dog food tomorrow and then go along to try and help clear anything up that is remained, if I could drive I'd be going tonight to help get dogs out of the still smoking building. But please even if you can't if you could just pass this message on it would be greatly appreciated! History of Manchester and Cheshire Dogs home: It was established in 1893 to help the stray and unwanted dogs roaming the streets of Manchester. Later covering parts of Lancashire, Cheshire and Derbyshire, today it remains the only Home of its kind, caring for over 7000 dogs each year. Over 95% of dogs are Homed or re-Homed.

I made a donation. As a dog owner myself, I feel so sorry for these poor dogs. They must've really suffered May the person responsible get what's coming to them.
