I just thought I'd make a thread to get used to role-playing with Ostrander. Her profile is here : tlkgoeson.proboards.com/thread/4607/ostrander
I may only take in a small amount of people though.

Ostrander looked around the jungle with a sigh,it had been lonely these past couple days. The nearly grown lioness sighed as her bang fell over her jade green eyes. She didn't even bother to move it. Her fluff of gray swayed in the light wind and she laid her head on her paws.

[Accalia]

Enuthu came crashing through the thick jungle trunks and ran with joy, he was free and healthy. However when he saw a lion just before him he skidded to a halt and looked curiously down at the stranger of a lion. He cautiously cleared his throat and said "Hello?"

[Okami]

She looked at the other lion a little on edge "Hello. ?......I did not know that there were other lions around here" she responded while wondering why he had stopped running around so abruptly to look at her. But as she looked at the male her eyes widened slightly, noticing how alike they looked.  The only real difference was the underbellies and paws, her eyes were also alike in shade, although hers were paler in comparison.

Enuthu found himself staring at the lion, uncertain that it was a lioness, but by her tone of voice he was more then certain she was. The corners of his mouth were still turned down, as they almost always were, however he smiled at her, using his eyes, not much caring whether she could read the way eyes appeared in different situations. Her appearance was different to say the least, yet somehow Enuthu found himself finding beauty in her elegant eyes and facial features. "I am Enuthu, and you are?" he said after several quiet moments.

[Okami]

Ostrander had possibly been staring for too long but that was okay because he was staring right back......to the point where it had gotten kind of odd. Her features were neutral but her mouth showed a faint frown. However, She was relieved when he spoke. Enuthu was it,that was a interesting name. She sat up and shook her fur free of and grass or dirt. It would be rude to greet yourself while laying down. "I'm Ostrander" she introduced lowering her head slightly. There was something about the way he looked at her that....that reminded her of Ikshu... but she would ignore it for now,no way this lion would realize so quickly that she was actually a she.

"Hello Ostrander.." He said with a faint smile. "Why are you in these parts may I ask?" He said formally, his posture just as proper. He cocked his head slightly "I know this is terribly rude of me, but... which gender are you Ostrsnder?" He was blushing now, however his mouth remained in its turned down position. He most likely shouldn't have asked that so quickly after meeting Ostrander, but he had done it now. He took a step backwards, awaiting her response, he just hoped she didn't take to much offense, he didn't mean to offend her, he was simply curious.

[Okami]

Ostrander nodded to him before hearing his first question to which she smirked. "These parts are my home,paradise if you ask me" she mused "No competition and an abundance of food and luxuries" even as she said this with such finesse a little voice in the back of her head muttered. "yep and no one to share it with" But such thoughts wouldn't be made public,she would not dare to give hint of loneliness. Hearing his second question she froze,her eyes widening slightly and staring straight off at him. She didn't hold a look of offense or anger but more of surprise,per say shock. "W-why would you ask that...?" she asked her cool act slipping from her grasp at the turn of events. She normally would have told him she was a lion without any trouble but the blush on his face lead her to believe that he already knew her secret and that lying would be futile" .......you know don't you?" she muttered as a blush covered her light fur. She decided not to admit to it yet,but let him tell what he believed. "What gender do you think I am?" she asked him seemingly getting her umph back

Adia lazily watched the discussion and decided to join in. "Your a girl." she giggled, from behind Ostrander "and I'm Adia, known to some as Moon, some as Adi." she smiled.

Hearing the sudden voice behind her she fell over before quickly standing up. "What are you talking about?!" she huffed. "I...I......" she sighed as if to dismiss the fact "I'm Ostrander,nice to meet you"

[Accalia]

The sudden arrival of the lioness behind him caused him to quickly turn to her direction. His face did not display surprise, but he felt it running through him as she so easily announced this lionesses gender. He watched as the two of them exchanged greetings and he said "Hello Adia, I'm Enuthu." he said smoothly.

Adia smiled "Well, I've been watching your little conversation from my branch." she laughed, her fringe bounced as she hopped in between them, revealing her crescent moon patterned cheek. Adi looked at the lioness and giggled "I know your a lioness because I can see auras." she smiled "I know, it's kinda cheating." she sat down, watching the two with inquisitive eyes, waiting for something to happen.

She shrugged "Aura reading huh? That's pretty interesting" She gave her mane a flip and fluttered her eyes. "It's not like I was trying to hide my gender,I simply wanted to know if you could tell." she gave a small smile. "It's not often that others meet a maned lioness"
She was playing her cool act again, sure she preferred them not to know,but she wasn't going to them know that.

Yeah,she was Ostrander,and she was going to keep her image.

Adia smiled "Oh, I've met a maned lioness before..." she giggled, before trailing off into the story of how she met the other lioness... When she finished telling the story, she looked up at a tree, "Well, I'm going into the tree..." she laughed, climbing up the bark.

[Accalia]

Enuthu listened to the lionesses story, inquisitive. As she scampered off into a tree he took a step forward, confused by the easy nature of this lion. He couldn't help but smile slightly though, it had been so long since he had talked to another lion, let alone two characters such as these, they were so unique. He found himself walking to the base of the tree, looking up and shouting slightly up at the lioness, "If you don't mind me asking, how did you come by these parts?"

Ostrander blinked when the other said she met a maned lioness before . She listened to the story carefully before tilting her head. It wasn't possible....that it was 'they' who met before was it?

She sat down and looking up at the tree so climbed in "So,you're leaving now?" she asked the other,it seemed so soon for the other just to walk off

Adia answered the male first with "My dad has a pride not to far from here, only five strong, including me." before talking to the manned lioness "Naw, I'm just gonna lay in the shadier parts of the forest, the trees."
